finamaris:from CMS, take a bus going to Eko Hotel/Bar Beach (N100) stop at d last B/stop which is a round-about. You can ask for Aboyade Cole from there. Its like a 10 mins walkdown. |

Joenyam:they'll ask about the symptoms of the ailment(s) your medical report says you have. The interview will be conducted by certified medical doctors |
Hilles:ori..what? lol. Kebbi is a state where the Shari'a system is practised so there's no alcohol in camp. |
omotayo9177:during our batch B 14 camp, there wasn't a viewing centre and I'm not sure they've fixed one there (though we were promised that they'll do it) |
Israelaremo:you're so so anxious! Relax bro! There are 23 LGAs in Kebbi and there's no way we can tell you which is the best for you, though there are nice cities ( some with HIGH cost of living) such as Argungu, Birnin Kebbi, Zuru...even Gwandu where I stay! Concerning Church, a few LGAs have churches, most of us attend NCCF in our various zones- pls attend NCCF, they'll render all the assistance you may need. Kebbi NYSC redeploys just 2 sets of corpers- married ladies and chronically ill corp members (with medical report, plus interview sef, yes I said INTERVIEW). If you dont fall in any of these categories, then I, with a broad smile, welcome you to the Land of hot sun, fine donkeys and dirty camels! Hehehehe! |
Joenyam:you're not yet finished till you live with camels and donkeys in the hot sun...hehehehe! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here in Kebbi |
ovirepsalm:about 70 to 75K plus accommodation...Doctors and other medical corpers get good remuneration here! |
Kaffy8910:no ATM but there are people with POS in mammy where you can credit their account and they'll give u cash instantly. You'll pay them a token anyway |
jimmy4x:the Sun here is very hot, sincerely! There's no single case of terrorism here. You can be posted anywhere-schools, hospitals, even NGOs. Light is relatively fair in some LGAs. The primary language is Hausa...just come and experience the life here! |
Hilles:lol! You're not unlucky...I felt the same way last year when I was posted here. You'll surely be glad in this state! Otondo! Hehehe |
nirewizzle:mobile network is bad in Dakingari camp. Just keep your Etisalat sim at home cos it'll be useless. You'll manage with MTN, AiRTEL and GLO. Pings arrive late..just forget about 3G |
Hehehe! I am a Batch 14 'B' serving corper here in Gwandu LGA in Kebbi State and I can imagine how all you otondos are feeling right now. You're most welcome to the Land of Equity where donkeys and camels will remain your companions. If you're down south, take a direct flight to Kebbi via Peace Airways or you can take any other flight to Sokoto and then taxi down to Dakingari. That's how I came when I was posted here. There's so much fun here. Pls attend NCCF on camp, they'll surely render all the assistance you may need. Welcome to the Land where animals and man share equal fundamental rights! hehehehe...I'm good to go! |
NnamdiN:did u say fun? Hehehe. You'll have fun in d camp at the rate of 6/10. But afterwards, welcome to the 19th century. You'll just have 2 create fun 4 urself among corp members wherever you're posted to. |
Chai...see dem otondos! Lol. Y'all dont need to panic this much. If you're coming from the east, your bus will take the Abuja route and if you're coming from the west, you'll pass through Niger. Most of the transport companies will take you guys directly to the Dakingari camp. For those in Lagos, specifically, you dont have to travel to Ibadan..(dont stress yourself peeps!).. there are tons of kebbi buses at Oyingbo, Iddo and Yaba. You can also go by air- just book a flight to sokoto and cab to Dakingari camp. shikena! You guys should ease up the anxiety...come and roll with us here! |
A few cities are civilized anyway, but not like the south sha. Kebbi is a sharia state- a warning to dem bros who like to drink- there aint no alcohol here.lol Hausas are generally nice, the only barrier is language. The roads are smooth, no potholes. Mobile network is really poor at the camp anyway. Concerning feeding, accommodation and other issues, you need not worry...just chill and experience it all yourself. this place is really cool, hot actually, lol! |
I'm currently serving in Gwandu, Kebbi state. Kebbi is probably the most peaceful state in Nigeria, the land of equity-where man and animals are equal(lol)...una go see donkeys and camels tire! The NYSC camp at Dakingari is a new one, I bet you'll enjoy every bit of the camping. If you're coming from the south, I suggest you take aero flight to sokoto then cab to kebbi -that's what I did when I came cos the journey is damn long. Right now, its very hot during the day(38-39 deg. C) and very cold at night so come prepared. NYSC is really fun up north! |
Hello house, anyone in Gwandu here? I was posted to Government Day Secondary School, Gwandu. I really wish I could fast forward this service year |
Desertboom, na soo oh...the drills are too much, everything is compulsory. The State looks cool tho', but so many of us are going to redeploy |
Kebbi corpers are really having fun mehn. Lol, network's bad in the hostels tho'... Err'one, how's been camp? No one is posting...hehehehe |
Please which park in lagos can I get bus to Kebbi? I really do hope to go on time to the camp. |
