TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Emmaokudu:
Thank you so much Mr. Frank, so basically show of proof of funds doesn't mean I should have paid my fees to the school but that i should have the funds to carry me through for one year in an account, this account can be my Sponsors account in Nigeria right?,
or does it have to be in a Canadian bank?
Frankrobbn1:
Emmaokudu,
You're expected to show proof of funds for your first year of studies not for a semester.
Since you said a semester tuition is around 10kCAD X 2 = 20KCAD.
So therefore,
Tuition fees = 20KCAD(for a year)
Room and board = 8KCAD
Others = 4K.
Funds available for my stay = 30KCAD(If you have funds from your personal account endeavour to add it up here).

This is how it should appear on your IMM study permit form.

All the best!

Hello everyone,

Please is anyone going to NAIT or knows someone who is currently there?,

During the visa process, did you submit a transcript ?,
if yes, was it secondary school transcript or university transcript or did a WAEC suffice?

During my school application I sent waec, sec transcript and Uni transcript and I'm not sure of the one they used to offer me admission,

Does graduating with a good result mean failure to you? Or securing an oil and gas job in Perth Australia also constitute failure?

Donxavier: Nothing is wrong with RGU, in fact it's one of the best schools out there. The problem is the UK, the problem is with the country not the schools in it. The immigration laws have changed and are becoming very harsh with non european nationals...Unless you just want come and leave after you are thru.... If you plan to remain and get some experience go to Canada.
I heard the same thing, so I'm reconsidering RGU, I'm looking at Canada now, but I wanted drilling and well engineering in RGU, can't find anything similar in Canada, any suggestions?
EducationRe: Obtainable Options For A 2:2 Grad In Canada, Us, Uk, And Norway. by Emmaokudu: 4:42pm On Aug 09, 2012
Which English test to be exact, I thought the English test were for candidates from countries where English language isn't their first language. Cause I'm considering strathclyde , I'm thinking of doing a masters in one subsea related course I saw on their brochure. Any ideas if Robert Gordon may accept a 2:2? Although the requirement clearly says 2:1 for Nigerian candidates.
