The Football Association has charged Burnley striker Andre Gray with misconduct in relation to comments he made on social media in 2012. The charge concerns offensive tweets Gray sent when he was playing for non-league Hinckley United, which resurfaced in the aftermath of his debut Premier League goal against Liverpool on Saturday. The 25-year-old subsequently released a statement in which he offered an “unreserved apology” to anyone offended by the Twitter posts and said that he was a different person now, one who did not “hold the beliefs written in those tweets whatsoever”. Turkey has begun attacking Islamic state (IS) targets, in Northern Syria amid reports that Syrian rebels are also set to launch an offensive against the group. Artillery positioned inside Turkey, fired on ISIS as well as Kurdish militia targets in the towns of Jarablus and Manbij. The attack follows from the blast which occurred on Saturday at a Kurdish wedding in the Northern area of Gaziantep, killing at least 50 people and leaving many injured. Some 1,500 Turkish-backed Syrian rebels, are thought to be in the Turkish town of Gaziantep waiting to attack. Analysts say the imminent offensive may have spurred the suicide bombing believed to have been carried out by Isis. Arsenal are reportedly lining up an offer for another Algerian winger, Yacine Brahimi after failure to sign co-teammate, Riyad Mahrez. Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and surprise package Hull City maintained their 100 percent records in the Premier League this weekend, but champions Leicester City and Arsenal remain winless. Here are the five things we learnt: 1) Paul Pogba made his second Manchester United debut in Friday’s 2-0 win over Southampton following his world-record 89 million pounds (105 million euros, $116 million) return from Juventus, catching the eye with his purposeful running and shooting. With the rangy Pogba, the gangly Marouane Fellaini, the strapping Eric Bailly and towering striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic — who scored twice — also in the starting XI, United look a more physically imposing team than they have for some time. United no longer instil dread in their opponents as they did under legendary former manager Alex Ferguson, but they look ready to go toe-to-toe with anyone under Jose Mourinho. 2) Chelsea’s Costa is back to his best/worst Chelsea have won both their opening league games 2-1. On both occasions, Diego Costa scored a late winner. On both occasions, he was fortunate to still be on the pitch at the time. Against West Ham United, he netted an 89th-minute winner after avoiding a second booking for a wild lunge on goalkeeper Adrian. At Watford on Saturday, he was booked for dissent — as he had been against West Ham — before escaping punishment for an apparent dive on the edge of the hosts’ box. With three minutes remaining he raced onto Cesc Fabregas’s through ball and tucked the winner past Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes. Costa’s 20 goals inspired Chelsea to the title in 2015. He looked a shadow of himself last season, but if Chelsea are to mount a sustained title challenge in 2016-17, new manager Antonio Conte will hope the troublesome Spain international continues to play on the edge. 3) Stoke no longer provide England’s acid test When Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona were weaving their dazzling patterns across the top-flight playing fields of Spain in the latter part of the last decade, a common refrain in England was: “Yes, but could they do it on a wet, windy afternoon in Stoke?” Guardiola took his Manchester City team to Stoke City’s newly renamed Bet365 Stadium at the weekend and the weather was appropriately unpleasant. But with Stoke manager Mark Hughes trying to introduce a more expansive playing style, the Potters are no longer the fearsome prospect they were under former manager Tony Pulis. They proved no match for Guardiola’s men as Sergio Aguero and new recruit Nolito each scored twice in a one-sided 4-1 victory. According to Vogue, the gear will include t-shirts and hoodies with the name of each city where the temporary stores will be open through the weekend. Magarini residents are living in fear of attacks by wild animals after a lion killed a 10-year-old girl at Kulesa village, Kilifi County, Kenya on Tuesday night. The incident is said to have happened at around 3a.m when Winnie Makupe was sleeping in their grass-thatched house together with her family. "We were awoken by screams after a lion sneaked into our house and grabbed Makupe with its jaws and ran into the thick bush," narrated the victims' grandfather Katana Karisa outside Malindi hospital mortuary. Mr Karisa said efforts to rescue her were futile as the hungry lion could recharge and chase them. "Neighbours, who heard the screams, joined us while armed with pangas, bows and arrows," he said adding that "but by this time, the lion had already vanished into the bushes and screams of our dear one had also diminished." The search for the girl in the hope of finding her alive was later joined by police and Kenya Wildlife Service officers. "We found a traumatising scene of the girls' remains a kilometre away from the home at around 11am," he said. Earlier, Mtoroni residents also rescued a 14-year-old school boy Kelvin Mbingwa from a lion that attacked him in broad daylight. Area ward representative Stanley Kenga called for government intervention in order to end human-wildlife conflict. The Germans got the winning edge over the Nigerians with an early goal from Lukas Klostermann. Efforts by Coach Samson Siasia’s boys to level the score were unsuccessful as the first half ended 1 – 0. The Nigerians seemed more prepared to fight for the finals ticket in the second half as they came out stronger than they were earlier. However, Germany’s Nils Petersen truncated the hope of the Dream Team with his 89th minute goal. The Germans would contend for the championship title with host country, Brazil who beat Honduras 6 – 0. SOURCE: http://www.petmaxflame.com/2016/08/rio-olympic-germany-thwart-nigerias.html

Mark Zuckerberg has led Facebook to become one of the most valuable and respected companies in the world. But despite all of his successes, he rarely talks about the challenges he's faced along the way. In a new interview with Y Combinator president Sam Altman, published on Tuesday, Zuckerberg showed a more vulnerable side when he discussed some of the low points in Facebook's early history, as well as some of his failings. "One of the hardest parts for me was when Yahoo offered to buy the company for a lot of money," Zuckerberg said. "That was the turning point in the company." That was 2006. Facebook was about 2-years-old and had 10 million users. Yahoo wanted the company for $1 billion. Although a lot of people believed Facebook should take the offer, Zuckerberg said he and co-founder Dustin Moskovitz ultimately decided to keep growing the business on their own terms. "The part that was painful wasn't turning down the offer," he said. "It was the fact that after that, huge amounts of the company quit because they didn't believe in what we were doing." Facebook's whole management team was gone within a year. READ MORE http://www.petmaxflame.com/2016/08/mark-zuckerberg-reveals-painful-turning.html

The Federal Government has begun implementation of the 2.5 million Dollars World Bank, assisted 3rd National Urban Water Sector Reform Project in Makurdi, Benue State. The acting National Coordinator, Mr Fasoye Adewale, disclosed this at a meeting with Governor Samuel Ortom when he visited him at the Government House to extract political commitment from the state government for the project. Governor Ortom and the General Manager of the Benue State Water Board, Mr Mike Zdungu, pledge their political and administrative support to see the project through, after 5.2 billion Naira was committed to the water project, by previous administrations, without adequate supply to the metropolis. At the end of the meeting, officials spoke on evolving a sustainable water policy that will guarantee success, as the Federal Government seeks improvement of water sanitation in the state. Apart from the seasonal flooding caused by heavy down pour and the rising water level, the River Benue serves a very useful purpose like marine training for the Nigerian Army School of Military Engineering, local mining of building sand and fishing by the local Jukun tribes. Other useful purpose of the massive River Benue, is the purification and treatment of the unclean water for domestic use for residents of the state. Over the years, the challenges of water to the metropolis has been a daunting task. This is why the team from the Federal Ministry of Water Resources have stepped in. The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) said it generated N385.7 billion revenue from January to June this year. This was against the N438.2 billion generated in the same period in 2015. The NSC Public Relations Officer, Mr Wale Adeniyi, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in an interview on Monday in Abuja. Adeniyi said that the service generated N197.7 billion from import duties in cash and generated N203 million from import duty in non-cash receipts as Negotiable Duty Credit Certificate (NDCC). He said that N21.876 billion was generated from excise duty; N910. 995 million from fees; N41. 418 billion from federation account levies and N49. 357 billion from non-federation accounts levies. Adeniyi said that the service generated N74. 282 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT) during the period. He said that the decrease of N525.5 million in the revenue generated was due to economic recession. "Access to foreign exchange and the drastic fall in the value of naira have also affected the service's revenue generation," he said. The NCS said that the removal of the 41 items from the CBN foreign exchange window affected the revenue generation by the service. "However, there are positive indications that the economy may bounce back in the last quarter of the year." "We (customs) are working with Western neighbour of Benin Republic to strengthen our transit trade, particularly with vehicles. "So, we expect that this will have a positive effect on our service revenue generation in the last quarter." SOURCE: http://www.petmaxflame.com/2016/08/nigeria-customs-generate-n3857-billion.html

Donald Trump on Wednesday, accused President Barack Obama of founding the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group, ISIS. The Republican candidate emphasized the president's full legal name: Barack Hussein Obama, in the latest attack on the White House campaign trail. "In many respects, you know, they honour President Obama," Trump said during a raucous campaign rally outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. "He is the founder of ISIS." He repeated the allegation three times. "He's the founder of ISIS, okay?" he added. "He's the founder. He founded ISIS." Trump has long blamed Obama and his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for pursuing Middle East policies that created a power vacuum in Iraq that was exploited by ISIL. He has sharply criticised Obama for announcing that he would pull US troops out of Iraq, a decision that many Obama critics say created the kind of instability in which groups such as ISIL thrive. "We should never have gotten out the way we got out." he added. "We unleashed terrible fury all over the Middle East. Instead of allowing some small forces behind to maybe just maybe, keep it under control, we pulled it out." The New York businessman went on to criticise Clinton, his Democratic party rival for the presidency. "And I would say, the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton," he said. Trump railed at both Obama and Clinton for refusing to put a name to radical Islamic terrorism. READ MORE: http://www.petmaxflame.com/2016/08/hes-founder-of-isis-donald-trump.html
