bro i will advise u 2 choose futminna tho d computer engineering dey gave u is very nice u can always apply for a change of course in minna so i dont rili see dat as a problem

Change of course is usually difficult in FUTmx especially from a dept like Maths n stat, You must have a 3.5 cgpa to qualify which will make that person one of the dept's best student and the dept HOD will not want one of his best student to leave the department.

I would suggest that he goes to lautech.

Yeah they do, it is called Remedial programme and it is usually for a year and it cost 80k plus 5k for acceptance fee. This one quarantees you a 100 level spot if you pass your jamb and the post jamb, the major advantage is that they give you a lower post jamb cut off mark compared to those coming in through Jamb.

They also offer IJMB which qualifies you for 200 level if you pass and it cost 105,000minus acceptance fee.

Congrats on your admission to FutMx, the price range for houses in minna is quite known to all the returning students of Futmx. The main thing is for me to know your budget and find a property that is within that budget. it is the same thing that you will encounter if you walk into any Estate Surveyor's office around and ask them to help you find a property.

Well, the rent charge can range between 30k - 40k for a single room where toilet, bathroom are shared( tenament buildings) and between 75k - 150k for a self countained apartment(a room with it own toilet, bathroom and kitchen).
