Foreign AffairsRe: Everything To Know About Ekweremadu, Wife Jail Term by emmie2011: 5:52pm On May 05, 2023
The real Issue here is that, the boy only came public when he discovered that he was not suitable and was left stranded on the streets. The guicy promises made to him was not kept in any part.

If the Ekweremadus have paid the Boy a little bit of what was promised him, they would have done it with another victim without being flagged.

A life lesson here, don't try to take it all.
Be fair in your dealings with all.

Only one soldier ant 🐜 inside your cloths can make you to remove all your cloths in public.

Greed is deadly!

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Won Presidential Election - INEC Tells Tribunal by emmie2011: 8:31am On Apr 12, 2023
I may not be a lawyer by profession; perhaps, not so vast in constitutional law, but I can say this with common sense- that a voter in Zuba or Maitama is not bigger or valuable than a voter or vote cast in Afon, ASA LGA of Kwara State. Neither is any vote cast in any part of the country more valuable than the other.

So to say that every other vote cast in other parts of the country is sub-national or inferior to that of the FCT makes the argument vague and to me, perhaps the constitution, invalid.

The constitution sees every vote or voter as the same. This is without prejudice !

I stand to be corrected though!

PoliticsRe: Osun REC Admits Politicians, INEC Staff Bypassed BVAS by emmie2011: 1:03pm On Feb 02, 2023
But why did INEC itself will have to issue a result to party A while the data is yet to be synchronized and then issue another to party B when the data is finally synchronized. It does not add up... INEC GOOFED ON THIS !

9jahotblog:
THE IGNORANCE OF THE WORKINGS OF BVAS IN OUR ELECTION AS RELATED TO RESULTS TRANSMISSION TO INEC SERVER AND THE REPORTAGE BY THE SERVER.

1. Inec put maximum of 500 to 750 registered voters per polling unit, thus the BVAS were programmed like that.

2. However, there are several polling units with over 1200 registered voters.

3. In such polling units as in (2) above will use minimum of two BVAS on election day for the purpose of election in the affected polling units.

4. At the end of the election, the votes are counted together regardless of the number of BVAS used for the election. The results are then filled into INEC form EC8A and same is then sent to INEC server via the BVAS. This is where the challenge is, remember each BVAS machine does *NOT* contain total number of accredited voters, infact, each BVAS will make the result "seemly" over voting until all the BVAS(s) used in such polling units *SYNCHRONISED*

5. In this context synchronisation means that all data on each of the BVAS machine has been processed together in the server such that all the data added up to form a single data. However, this takes time and depends on many factors such as data size, network of service provider, memory of server and processor, internal working of various diodes, resistors etc.

6. Practical examples of (5) above is when salaries of say police is made through a bank, it is programmed as a single schedule in the bank and paid by the push of a single button "pay" or "approved" but in reality the police officers will get their payment alert at different times across days sometimes weeks. If anyone print the statement of account of the while payment is ongoing the person will have different statements until the payment is completed, that's when system has completed synchronisation.
Another example is that we get many alert balance of account that is incorrect, infact sometimes the gives two different balance in a single text message -
i. Current bal. X
ii. Available bal. Y

7. This was what happened in the case under review, the APC fraudulently got a report from the server while synchronisation is ongoing while the PDP got another report from the same server after more data has synchronised.

8. The above explanation is not known to many people and that may include the judges of the tribunal and future judges at the appeal court and supreme court. *THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE*

9. We need to make this known to the entire public through public advocacy using NGOs NOT LAWYERS. Infact we need to stage INEC ICT Director in an interactive discussion in disguised voter education programme organised by our NGO people.

10. This must be done in national TVs such everybody including would be judges would have understood the whole idea before the appellate courts judgement.
AgricultureRe: Farming Or Relocating Abroad by emmie2011: 8:37am On Jan 03, 2023
Zerofarm:
Hello Nairalander,

I need your suggestion and advice because I just acquired 7 hectares of land for plantain farming in ekiti which will be planted by February next year, the place is secured and free from bandits or herdsmen but everybody is telling me to do relocation instead of farming even though I’ve invested up to 4 million naira into this project because I love Agric….

Please which one is the best advice for me right now as I know how I can make it big by planting up to 10,000 suckers of plantain on this land and get the return in a year, is there market for large production of plantain?

Mods please help me to push this to front page as this is my only option of surviving
Oga, the risk in Farming is much, especially if this is your first time of venturing into it. Before the gains can come in will be up from 3 years. I was also in your shoes in 2019. Please if the resources are scares, relocate and come back later to invest in the farm. Farming requires good knowledge, experience and better management practice (all these culminate to more money and time).

If the resources are there, I will encourage you to take both.

Farming takes time for you to have return on investment.

I also got it this morning from a number. I never remembered when I applied anyway. No position is stated... I don't think Dangote Grp will send anonymous job invitation to anyone with/without applying.
