I think you have a point...Exactly my word, I told a friend that I see this Man as d next Nigerian president after Jonathan. Surprising enough my friend agreed with me. While Peter Obi who is known to be a personal friend of Mr President was denied d position of Minister of Aviation. There is Something about this Man. Personally, i see him as one Northerner who's not a religious bigot or someone driven by ethnic affiliation like Kwankwaso and Sanusi. Mind you an IGBO Man is capping, no sentiment attached. Nigerians should watch out.

Sincere 9gerian: When the NASS, especially house of reps, politicizes or fumbles and wumbles with probes (eg the Farouk Lawan and SEC probe bribe scandal), then it is only RIGHT that the president conducts his own probe and acts based on his own probe or investigations. For example, the probe by the presidential committee on fuel subsidy established fraudulent practices by fuel marketers initially cleared by house of reps. After all, in the end, the buck stops on the president's table and he has to act based on a well-informed position.

Personally, I cannot touch any of house of reps jaundiced, APCnized, Tinubunized, Buharinized and bribe-tainted probe reports with a 10 metre pole. I dont know about you.

Meanwhile, we are still expecting the report of the house committee that probed bribery allegation against Farouk and the clerk of the house. It seems when the probe involves members of the house of reps, it goes on FOREVER.

Tambuwal is claiming GEJ is encouraging corruption (I agree), but when you as a speaker of the house fails to discipline or suspend a House Member found culpable(eg: FAROUK), just because the president have refused to act is not acceptable and can't be seen as an excuse. Do ur part mr. Speaker and let the onus be on Mr. President. Fighting corruption is not only an Executive issue, all arms of govt are meant to be involved. Clean ur house Mr. Speaker, set an example b4 coming to Nigerians to sing one sided song. Mr Speaker, u are also guity of the crime u accuse the President of.
