Yes he was a very strong member of PDP, was so popular, that was why he was able to win the incompetent incubent Guv'nor Akwe Doma, when he left PDP for CPC. Infact PDP members worked for his emergence even after he defected because they loved him so much and they hated the incubent guv'nor then. That was why he was able to win. I was serving in Lafia then. He loved Corpers too, unlike d former guv'nor who neva cared about corpers. He has one of the best Hotels in Lafia and gave one of the halls free to us when we wanted to do our POP gbedu. He a nice guy generally. I think PDP is just shaking him so he can come back to where he belongs because even when he defected to CPC, the worked for his emergence

If El-rufai said this is an assasination attempt on GMB, I therefore suggest that he should look within his own political party -APC, instead of pointing accusing fingers on president GEJ. We are aware of People who are in APC that sees the General as an Obstacle to their Political ambition. Now they want to take advantage of the fact that the General criticised the President and achieve their aim and then blame it on the presidency. Why would Jonathan want Buhari dead? Someone he defeated and PDP are praying earnestly for APC to field him again, because APC fielding him again will guarantee Jonathan a free ride to Aso-Rock.
