PoliticsRe: Buhari Is A Better Alternative To Yar'Adua by Emmjays: 10:57am On Apr 03, 2007
I would have preferred Pat Utomi but we know this country, people with such rare qualities will not be allowed to get there. No! not now! But if I'm left with a choice between Buhari and Yar'adua, I will not think twice before choosing Yar'adua. He's got all the qualities that Buhari is floating right now and much more. He is not a religious bigot, he doesn't have the negative reputation of being sectional, and above all he does not brag. I don't believe what people say that he will be manipulated by OBJ. Those who are saying that should ask Babangida - what he experienced in the hands of OBJ. I CAST MY VOTE FOR YAR'ADUA.
CareerRe: Wicked Receptionists by Emmjays: 1:04pm On Mar 24, 2007
MyPeace, you were wrong to have reacted to that guy like that. You were also wrong in your idea of job search. I was taught in school and from the motivational books I read that you don't wait for advertised jobs as they only constitute less than 20% of your chances of getting a dream-job. In fact, you are seen by the employers to be more proactive by sending unsolicited CVs/Applications. Please take note and make ammend.

Fellow Nairalanders, I think we should all forgive her and let her be. She probably did not know the gravity of her reaction. LET PEACE REIGN.

Hey Guys,

Watch it, I think elaiye is one of them (I stand to be corrected if I have made an erroneous judgement), but I wouldn't pay a recruiting agent to get me a job. Best of luck, Good People.
