Student politics as rightly posited by Comrade Fredrich Douglas "its purely political socialisation not politics in its own right" so students leaders must socialise with the culture of integrity,transparency and accountability.


But with the emerging evidence I owe a duty to disclose the following material facts

•That the said 4.8M was not unilaterally withdrawn by the Embattled SUG president as been widely alleged

•That it was on the authority of the VC that the money was withdrew due to the expendecy of the time

•What occasioned the extingency of the time was the frequent accident involving students and motorist in the front of the main campus highway

•Recently a student Arm was amputated as a result of one of the many incidence. This was what occasioned the withdraw of the 4.8M from the SUG account,since the VC said the school its not buoyant enough to finance the project due to the(TSA) policy of the federal government

•And consequently the VC promised to refund the money once money its appropriated for the university.

At the time of writing this rejoinder the VC as directed the money be refund to the SUG account

Align to this it is expedient and necessary to say that the SUG president acted in good faith because of the security and well being of the students which is the primary purpose of the union.

In the light of the foregoing therefore; the publicity generated over the 4.8M saga its generated by some mischievous aggrieved elements within the union for their own personal aggradizement.

On Its Alleged Suspension The SUG SRA progressed in error, Chris Ifeanyi was not given fear hearing on the matter rather they went and suspended him based on allegation of misappropriation of funds.

His alleged suspension is baseless as it won't hold any water
