Fitness Instructors and Activity manager

Responsibilities:
• Deliver top quality classes per day across a wide range of class types.
• Create exceptional individual programmes for our patient which will ensure that they meet their fitness goals. No off the shelf solutions allowed.
• Help expand the Group Fitness Programme at Synapse to ensure it is recognized as the best in the health care industry.
• Make sure all patients uses the equipment with care, to avoid damage to both the equipment of the building.
• Promote positive customer service relations to assure timely, professional, and sensitive response to customers and to promote services offered.
• Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations governing sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment.
• Offer alternatives during classes to accommodate different levels of fitness.
• Plan routines, choose appropriate music, and choose different movements for each set of muscles, depending on participants' capabilities and limitations.
• Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement.
• Teach proper breathing techniques used during physical exertion.
• Instruct participants in maintaining exertion levels in order to maximize benefits from exercise routines.
Qualifications/Experience:
Requirements include certifications in health, physical education, corporate fitness, exercise science, wellness or a related field. Must be a resident of Abuja or Suleja
Minimum three years’ experience as a personal trainer/ fitness instructor.

Job Description

Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared and keep records of stock on a daily basis.
Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
The senior cook is to oversee other cooks in the department and serve as their line manager.
Qualification

Core Job Functions


Counsel individuals and groups regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, in order to modify behaviour and/or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.
Offering therapy and treatments for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, and addiction, social and interpersonal problems.
Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioural issues, and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurses, social workers, education professionals, health visitors, psychiatrists and occupational therapists;
Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, Intensity, and duration of therapy.
Prepare and type a psychological formulation for every patient in therapy
Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling or treatments, and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, and then modify plans and diagnoses as necessary.
Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
Obtain and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories, by interviewing individuals, couples, or families, and by reviewing records.
Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests in order to obtain information on individuals' intelligence, achievements, interests, and personalities.
Utilize a variety of treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behaviour modification, stress reduction therapy, psychodrama, and play therapy.


Required Qualification and Experience


A minimum of Masters degree in Clinical Psychology
Knowledge of Psychological Formulations using different psychological models
Knowledge of Psychological Assessment using standardized tests/scales
Knowledge and application of psychological principles/models
Psychological Treatments/Interventions
Minimum of six months internship and/ or paid Clinical experience


Remuneration
