Guys Excess Crude Account was $9 billion when Jonathan left government. This is what Buhari and APC have reduced it to: $473,754.57. If this is not the time to shut this nation down through an industrial strike action, we never had a better time. What ineptitude! |

Politics / Re: FG May Pay N1.68tn Fuel Subsidy, Marketers Forecast N900/litre by emmyN(m): 12:35am On Sep 23, 2023 |
nairalanda1: I would appreciate if you kept your assumptions to yourself. We spent a large chunk of the revenue on subsidies, yet exchange rate still hovered around N200 and we had savings in the form of excess crude account. APC excused their failure by saying Jonathan had oil boom. Now they are getting the same but the whole economy is suffering a devastating ripple effect. APC is a curse! 1 Like |

Crude oil was over $100 during Jonathan's administration yet price of fuel was kept under N200 even after he attempted to remove subsidy. The damages APC have done to Nigeria, it would take a long time to undo. 3 Likes 1 Share |

For those harping on IQ, please understand that IQ is not static but depends on the environment and the standard of living one is exposed to. Once upon a time the Chinese were thought of as people with very low IQs, but today they are judged as those with one of the highest in the planet no thanks to their industrial revolution. So no, IQ is not our problem, mammon is. The love of money... 1 Like |
