You are not far away from the truth but change is the constant thing in life. Let's compare Dssc 2016 and 2017.

1. In 2016, everyone that applied online was shortlisted for documentation while in 2017 they have shortlisted only candidates whose courses match with the available courses listed in the requirements.

2. In 2016 13-14 candidates were called for a week (7-10 days) interview from each state while 50 candidates were called for one week interview in 2017. But FCT has 40 candidates.

3. In 2016, from their guidelines. 2.2 is the bench mark while 2.1 is the bench mark in 2017. ( Though God has helped people like us with 2.2 and we have attended one week interview)

4. In 2016, the minimum height for male was 1.68m while 2017 is 1.66m.

5. In 2017 additional barracks were added compare to 2016

6. Even NAF recruits ( SSCE, OND and NCE) that passed out on 22nd July, 2017 recorded the highest number of candidates compared to the past recruits (1876 candidates).

N.B: There are some states that competition is less. As in, most people that have the requirements have 2.2. That's why some people escaped with 2.2 from other states. In the first enlistment, Yobe State in total has only 53 candidates and 50 people were called for interview. Do you mean only 3 failed in documentation. What of absentees? And more than 60% of the said 50 candidates have 2.2. Compare to some states that have about 300 candidates in the first enlistment. E.g Rivers State.

I am not here to cajole anyone nor to give false hope.
But from a source ( not compulsory to be perfect). They are taking more ( about 15-20) from each state. Best of luck to all of us and Happy Sunday

Reporting from Kaduna State.
1. I want to thank NAF Kaduna for their kind gesture. They first of all gathered us in the field, after the welcome address they provided macapolo and 1414 vehicle to convey us to the recruitment centre inside the base. We sat in conducive hall for the screening. Kudos to NAF Base Kaduna.
2. They screened our document. First person went through all our credentials ( and jot down any alteration such as correcting fluid on original or any irregularities ). Then 2nd person ask and documents Birth Certificate, Nysc Certificate, Primary, O level and BSC/HND). He write NQ to those with 2.2 and O level deficiency). HMMMM. Though I am 2.2 ..
Advice: What the other guy said is true, if u have 2.2, o level deficiency,...... Pray! God can still do marvelous but don't give yourself false hope.
If your name is not there......... forget
if you miss your state. There may be room for absentees
If your course is not there.,...... Pray
If you are with eye glass........ Pray
Finally, let's pray and hope for the best. AY Kaduna.

y stress ur eye just to be sure... download the list, open it and use ctrl F (on system) then insert ur application number and press enta, it will bring out ur name if included.

About the attestation letter.
A letter of good moral character is a letter that is written by someone you know who will vouch for your moral character. Almost anyone can write one of these for you, but they are more valuable if they are written by someone of distinction, including a past employer, a priest, or someone with a notable position. A letter of good moral character is commonly used for job applications to show what kind of person you are. Since the officer that signed my attestation of local government form refuses to give me the attestation of good character, me i dey draft mine too, i will give it to someone close to me in my community to sign and put down his name and phone number... May God help us all.

Anyways, you'd be needing a letter heading and a stamp to go with it, if the officer refused to give you the letter of good conduct, it's best you get it from a church or imam as the case may be. I also read from this thread that it's gon be accepted too. Lol. Funny dude, I admire your charisma tho. Big ups! Success!

if i use church as per christian wey i be shey na me go make the church go create letter head paper or stamp wey dem nor get before... bros if i cant attest for mysef who will.. Thanks bros. am a learner in federal govt work tho. "My case is different" fellow learner so dont use my suggestion as a yardstick or measurement for standards. #All4God
