I’m preparing for my CAS interview, I realized the school I graduated from did a mistake in my bsc certificate so I requested for a new one but it won’t be ready till month end or December. Hi all.
Please I need help with advice, my study visa was denied as a result of the interview I had with ukvi, I am trying to reapply but the school is asking for administrative review which I understand takes a long time. What is the best advice, request for a refund of my tuition deposit and reapply or go ahead with the administrative review the school is insisting it’s mandatory to be able to consider an application from me in the future.
Please help if ever been in this situation.

Yes, it is compulsory to obtain your eVisa before travelling to the UK.

✅ Here's why:
UK Border Force will not allow entry unless you can prove you have a valid visa or eVisa linked to your passport.

The airline may refuse to let you board the plane without a valid visa or travel permission.

Yes, you can withdraw your money after you submit your visa application, even if you haven't received a decision yet.


But Be Careful:
The UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration) only checks your funds at the time of application.

As long as your bank statement shows the required funds for 28 days and it's dated within 31 days before your application date, you’re fine.


Consider This Risk:
If UKVI asks for further documents (e.g. additional financial proof or rechecking funds), and you’ve already withdrawn the money, you may be in trouble.

So, it’s safer to wait until you receive a decision before withdrawing, especially if your application is still under review.

31-Day Validity: The financial evidence (e.g., bank statement) must be dated within 31 days before the date you submit your visa application.


📌 Practical Example:
Scenario: You received your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) on May 1, 2025.


Action: You maintained the required funds in your account from April 1 to April 28, 2025.


Application Date: You plan to apply for your visa on May 15, 2025.

Outcome: Your POF is valid because:

The funds were held for 28 consecutive days.


The end date of the 28-day period (April 28) is within 31 days of your application date (May 15)

Why do you want to use priority. You still have enough time. I will advise not to waste your money but if you have excess cash. You can use it.

My OND I studied Science Laboratory Technology and HND Microbiology. I want to apply for Canada admission.

If I go for Clinical Research Program, after the course can I switch to Nursing course.
