Blue Valentine - Very nice. Been waiting for Ryan Gosling to appear in something great since The Notebook.

It was so real.

Loved it. I'll recommend it anyday.

Still watching the Vampire Diaries. Why is it that i prefer Katherine to Elena? The way she walks, giggles, makes her hair stuff like that. Is it only me?

All you need to do is just google them. They supply hotel amenities e.g towels, bedsheets etc. It also says that they are into furniture and upholstery so im guessing they provide hotels with all the above and your role would be to market these products to hotels in order that you get these hotels to be loyal customers.

This is what you said before undertaking your rankings.

It might be best in the future to watch everything before making a comment.

This is not palm wine or hair-dresser conversations, this is Politics, a serious issue that lives and existential happiness depend on. Anyone that wants to get involved need to take it seriously.

It is a serious issue that should be engaged in with serious considerations. It affects us all.
buhahahahaha ure a joker. Go wine and dine or shake ur botay its friday and stop killing urself over dis. mayb sum day 50 yrs along the line il hear sagamite is contesting for chief area boy mushin district.  grin  Just kidding

Look i dont know why you guys are so tense about a simple discussion. You know who u are going to vote for so dont let what someone else says bother you. On a normal circumstance i wont even reply any negative comments made by any1 towards me but i dont like being misunderstood. I hold nothing against Fashola although i would have loved him more if he had finished the lekki-ajah road he promised to finish in Feb/March 2010.

I commend the guy cos i think he has done more good for Lagos state( The mere fact that he started the rd and others) so to him his own. vote and support whoever you want to. Its your right. I dont like being disrespected or being misunderstood.

I do not disrespect people unless i'm being diesrespected. I am going to have fun now so good night. Pls go have you some fun ok. Its the start of a weekend.  wink

@ Sagamite pls why cant you read my statements carefully b4 saying stuff i didnt say. I said i didn't wait for the debate to end. That does not mean that i didnt watch and listen to what the other participants said on some of the questions asked. I did not wait to watch them answer to all the questions.

I never said i listened to Dosunmu alone. Y do u have to join the crowd. It is obvious that you didnt read any of my comments but the last one. My previous posts on this topic shows that i commented on Fashola and JK Randle as well so obviously i watched more that just dosunmu's response.

Argggggh this Fashola supporters self. You seem to be biased. It is obvious that you love the man no probs there. I also admire him to an extent but i am not blinded by my support for someone.

I'm very sure everybody that has spoken here doesn't have or own a business, surely fashola is the man and he has all the abilities a governor should process ,however the issue of multiple taxation should be a concern to everybody that has a business or runs one,if also with the amount of revenue Lagos generate you guys still feel fashola is the man for doing his job then we're doomed in this country ,i personally think the opposition doesn't have a clue and issues were not tackle in this debate,so therefore my vote is not going to a party that's not helping my business rather forcing me out of business in other country federal and state government will think about how to help small business grow but here reserve is the case and you guys can even see that,i agree with dosumu on issues like the tax,how the revenue are being distributed and the state of infrastructure in the state ,if we look @ the revenue in Lagos state you should agree with me then that all Lagos street has got to be tired and not major street like we see.The issue of using money generated from this state to finance other states is also worrisome and must be addressed,to crown it all fashola is doing his job and we mustn't give him the highest props yet cause he hasn't been able to court the wing of his godfather that make our revenue not fully utilised and those are real issues.I believe fashola has the right and genuine intentions however he's surrounded by ashiwaju boys which make his job extremely impossible ,we all know the amount paid to tinubu's company every month and trust me this people are no jokes they have sold all the lands in this state,ACN IS A RECRIMINATED PARTY,SAME AS PDP ,PEOPLE OPEN YOUR EYES.MY VOTE GOES TO CPC,
I didn't go into details but this was exactly what i was trying to say when i said Dosunmu made some valid points.( Especially the highlighted parts) Even the fact that most Nigerians cannot afford to buy a house etc. People must try to understand that other people are entitled to their opinions and views on tins. I personally do not support anyone and like i said earlier on i am not that into politics and that is why i didn't finish watching the debate. Pls note that my opinions are mine and yours are yours.

@Emmz

so catching a glimpse of where dosumu seemed to be doing well from your own perspective now gives him the total credit of the debate? angry please go and watch the full version b4 u mk another comment.
I believe you have glaucoma or cataract cos if you don't i'ld be very shocked. No need tryna talk rudely or repeat what i already said. You have serious issues. Where did i give Dosunmu total credit? and by the way i said i watched a little so i may be wrong in my initial judgement.

I believe you just want to be noticed.

Here enjoy your two minutes of fame then back the hell up off my comments since you cant read or interpret statements correctly.

PoliticsRe: Who 'Won' The Lagos Governorship Debate On Channels TV? by Emmz(f): 10:49am On Mar 03, 2011
Maybe you know better than me. I am not that into politics hence I didnt watch the full thing. What i watched showed Dosunmu giving solid arguments and Fashola was obviously uncomfortable and under pressure to defend himself which i felt he did well.

Maybe Dosunmu fell off after i stopped watching. I dont know but for me Randle was a total joke. At least that was what i garnered from the little i watched. It was clear to me that the fore runners were Fashola and Dosunmu.
PoliticsRe: Who 'Won' The Lagos Governorship Debate On Channels TV? by Emmz(f): 10:04pm On Mar 02, 2011
I would say Ade Dosunmu. He literally rubbished the Fashola Govt and he did it really well and got ovation everytime cause his statements or rather arguments were grounded. After him i would say Fashola. Obviously the guy was under pressure but he stood tall.

The debate was not in his favour because he is the current Gov so, He did good.

TV/MoviesRe: What Was The Last Movie You Watched? by Emmz(f): 6:25pm On Mar 02, 2011
The Tourist- Come on pple the movie was not bad at all. Obviously cos it had big names such as Jolie and Depp, pple were expecting gun slinging, knife chopping etc. It was a drama thriller and i loved it.

The American- Now this has to be the worst movie i have seen this year. I cant believe i wasted my precious sleeping time on the plane to watch this crap. This is the lamest movie i have seen this year and i have to put it along side " The life aquatic." Worse movie ever. George Clooney has been doing some very drab and boooooooooring movies with no sense at all of late.

Arrrgggh u know what hurts the most is that i was feeling real sleepy but i kept my eyes wide open cos i kept saying to myself sumtin is gon happen soon but it never did.

Think im joking go see it.

John definitely knows Damon would die if he uses the knife on Elisha, I'm sure he also knows that Elisha dead would set Katherine free. . . . . Remember that scene where he went to see Katherine and she says she needs to get out of "here" and he says, "I'm already working on it"

John most definitely has his own plans. . . . .but the question remains what?
Oh i see. That scene is kinda vague to me. Cant remember the conversation. Mmmmh Katherine and John working together.

So Katherine is back and John's plan was to kill both Damon and Elisha, while freeing Katherine.

Something's definitely cooking, abi no be Katherine try Kill John before. . . . hmmmmm
I don't think that was the plan (to free Katherine) John has def got something up his sleeves and i really don't believe it is to protect Elena.  He wanted Damon and Elisha dead for reasons we are yet to know but i believe hes got sumtin big brewing becos of d way he kept demanding that Alaric give him d ring.

Elisha wat a dumbo getting killed twice in one night. lol! but i dnt tink dats d end of him. His witch frnd will prolly bring him back to life. Sum1 will defo take out that knife again.

Repo Men, at home, on Blu-Ray.
Prior to that, Love and Other Drugs, also at home, but a rip.

Repo Men had a bit too much gore for me. Some of these oyinbo directors like to splash blood around sha.
Also got me swearing to live a healthier life. Don't want any Jarvik hearts or steel kidneys in my bod jare.
I liked Repo men. It was like a dream within a dream (Inception) lol! Just kidding. But i liked it. It just goes to show that we shd always treat pple the same way we want to be treated. you never know. To be honest thou i didnt know when Jude Law's dream started. Im guessing when they were raided and the fight ensured btw him and forest whitaker.

The dude is an adrenaline junkie. He didn't think it was anything he couldn't handle at first. He made a video satiring his foolishness and it was when it dawned on him that the pearly gates beckoned that he really got worried. His predicament shoulda sprung the quintessential five stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance but his own were acceptance, anger, denial, bargaining and refusal. It's like stuff from a self help brochure. What I expected the film to dwell on was the depression (which was missing hence no tragedy) but it did not. There was a game show analogy instead, hence the comedy. The guy didn't even cry once if I recall. After the whole shebang, he went right back to skiing and whatever adrenaline fix he could manage.

Realistic is exactly what I'm being. Inasmuch as I didn't say it was obvious to me in particular, knowing he was gonna cut his arm before seeing the movie doesn't mean I wouldn't have figured it out without knowing beforehand. Anyone woulda and shoulda. I liked the hallucination about the rain and the rock moving due to the water's upthrust. Wishful thinking. Classic denial.

Now you've made me sound like I hate the movie. About my movie taste. It's simplicity itself but another time.
VESCUCCIIIIIII grin See im one of those pple who don't believe in following the crowd. Il tell you what i mean. Who says it always has to be that way? (denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance) Whoever created these stages is just human like you and I and u must remember that pple deal with things differently so if he accepted it before denying it, maybe that's just the way he deals with things. have you 4gotten that the real guy this happened to is actually living and breathing so obviously most of the story came from the horses mouth with a few additions from danny boyle or whoever.

Some pple laugh when they are sad cos that's how they deal with it hence the game show analogue and hence not much depression. I personally know two pple like that.

To be honest, I do not think there was need for tragedy. It wouldn't fit in. There was nothing tragic there. It was supposed to be a survival and gruesome story and that's what it showed.

Yes he went back to skying, that's just how some people are.(Lesson learnt- move on) You said it yourself. The dude is an adrenalin junkie. He felt he had learnt his lesson which is tell at least one person where you are going and everytin will be fine so he moved on.

Well we both have our opinions and this is my take on it. Kapish. grin
