I am sitting on a United airlines flight in the air 30,000ft above and I am in tears of humiliation from discrimination. The flight attendant asked me what I would like to drink and I requested a can of diet coke. She brought me a can that was open so I requested an unopened can due to hygienic reasons. She said no one has consumed from the drink, but I requested an unopened can. She responded, "Well I'm sorry I just can't give you an unopened can so no diet coke for you." She then brought the man sitting next to me a can of UNOPENED beer. So I asked her again why she refused to give me an UNOPENED can of diet coke. She said, "We are unauthorized to give unopened cans to people because they may use it as a WEAPON on the plane." So I told her that she was clearly discriminating against me because she gave the man next to me an unopened can of beer. She looked at his can, quickly grabbed it and opened it and said, "it's so you don't use it as a weapon." Apphauled at her behavior I asked people around me if they witnessed this discriminatory and disgusting behavior and the man sitting in an aisle across from me yelled out to me, "you Moslem, you need to shut the F** up." I said, "what?!" He then leaned over from his seat, looked me straight in the eyes and said, "yes you know you would use it as a WEAPON so shut the f**k up." I felt the hate in his voice and his raging eyes. I can't help but cry on this plane because I thought people would defend me and say something. Some people just shook their heads in dismay.

Okay, I seem to get what you saying now. First, I need to tell you that I do not know why Islam section was created to begin with. When I joined NL, I was only active on "properties section" up to late 2013. I barely come to religion area. However, I was active on islam section just early last year. Believe it or not, i could sense the reason Islam section was created. And I was only active in Christian section just around this January (and that was because of ifean).

If you were around mid-last year, I wish you visited "side islamic talks" a thread created by mac. Your fellow christians were so bad. Not only did they insult our prophet, they insulted our prophet Jesus and our Ulama. They also posted inappropriate pictures. Mac didn't ban them but removed those pix. Those pictures were porn*gra* posted by both atheists and Christians. They used to freely comment there despite "declaration of faith".

You should be objective by looking beyond "religious brethren". Also, verses of Qur'an that they do not understand, despite explaining those verses to them, they still use it to propagate their sinister agenda. This is why some muslims reciprocate their behavior sometimes.

And in most cases, when some muslims said some things that are inappropriate in response to Atheists or Christians barbaric attitudes, we muslims usually come together to denounce him/her. I understand we can be emotional sometimes. But we have obligatory duties to comport ourselves according to Quran and the Sunna of Muhammad(saw). This is because Quran says (3:110 Translation Of The Meaning)

"You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture i:e Jews and Christians had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient."

This verse of the Quran sums it all ^

The reason they behave like that or anyhow is because they have abandoned their religious principles. They feel someone died for their sins so they have green light to do as they wish. #justsaying

Well, waste no time of yourself. Narrations like this are usually found in hadith of prophet (pbuh). Qur'an only reflects on important issues necessary for us to know. Whatever else we need to know is by following the prophet (pbuh).

It's true that Adam's children intermarried. For instance, Adam's first set of twins were male and female. The second set of twins were also male and female. Instructions given by God was that the first male should marry second female. Second male should marry first female. I understand the wisdom behind this.

Anyways, the first son disagreed. He said he would marry his (immediate) twin sister not the second twin sister. This is how conflicts began between the two sons that brought about murder into the world today(hatred). My point is the conflicts between the two sons is what Quran pretty much concerned about. Quran only teaches us lesson about these sons (Cain/Abel) to be contended with whatever God decrees for us.

So the story of how many children Adam had, who married who etc was narrated by famous companions of the prophet (peace be upon him), Ibn Abbas and Ibn Masud(God be pleased with them). So it's not in the Quran but hadith.

You should have asked your friend to show you the chapter and verse for this allegation in the Quran. Is your friend a Muslim?. Ask him and get back here, please.
