emmyw:please it was not because Christ died on Friday. This was the explanation we were told when we were young cos the teacher knew our iq was low but if u tell a pentecostal what u said it will be a mockery of the church. Lent =fasten + abstinence. Unlike pentecostal who only do fasting. Why Catholic added abstinence is because of those who can't fast as u know that we all are all member of the body called Christ |
ebonytarki:the church just picked these days and even you can add other days that u can abstain from things of the flesh. |
emmyw: emmyw:why not say what you know? Catholics avoid meat during this period is because it called fasting and abstinence. Fasting is the normal thing which we do away with food for some period while abstinence is when leave things that we love most just to undergo so physical pain. Now the church made it mandatory that we all should abstain from meat just to partake in the lenten period cos not everyone can fast like the pregnant women, elderly people, sport men and women, children, and so on but everyone can abstain from meat. In addition personally the church also encourages everyone to abstain from some pleasure for the sake of Christ like instead of taking a bus for a few kilometer we can treak then use the money to pay the needy, also deny the body of some fun. That is why the Catholic call it lent. Lent is fasting and abstinence I |
Congolese players got these from the same tournament our oliseh said is not important. What will their president give the players if they win a tournament our oliseh see as important tournament? Aeroplane each? Oliseh ur days are numbered!!! |

ikorodureporta:how come we knew that Jesus fasted and he was hungry which was the reason Satan wanted to use him to turn stone to bread? |
The broom has NAFDAC no |
chriskosherbal:no It should be citizens vs efcc and federal government |
Hitback2back:I can't laugh. Lol |
yesterday we were told that efcc has recovered $2trillon from looters, fraudsters and criminals in the last 12 years. If at the rate of #200 for a dollar then it amounts to #400 trillion. Our budget is at most #7trillion a year. My question, if truly efcc has recovered #400 trillion in 12 years why can't the government use the recovered money to finance our budget? Abi when they recovered it, some criminals will steal it again and efcc will recover it and it will be accumulating? Or is it that efcc is trying to play on our intelligence? Please someone should answer us. |
stleebaba:you can't serve two masters at a time, it's either you are for one and against the other. If you don't believe in the Catholic teachings then you can gently denounce yourself from the church. But i will advise you to ask questions why things you see or hear from the church at like that. It's unfortunate that you don't read your Bible to know about the spiritual and the traditional of the early Christians. Plz read your Bible. |
vizkiz:whalahi your foolishness na high frequency he dey. Lol.. |

TheGoodJoe:bros if you follow the league u will know that nanso edo is better than Etim, Akas chima has no business in that team, this match showed that it's either oliseh is not a good coach or he just wanted to sabotage the effort of us the promoter of the league |
Smellymouth:thanks for understanding. Yes these players are not the best in naija league but they could have taken us to the final if the coach had done his work very well. |
Smellymouth:was it naija league that started Alimi ahead of Orji? Or was it naija league this said oliseh should remove Usman? Or is it the league that said they should play defensive game early simply because they needed a draw? |
Every # CHAN game was a hit, from Niger to Tunisa but we still couldnt make it to the next round |
Oliseh just want to sabotage the work of we the supporters of the NPFL by making these players look ordinary so that those who never see anything good about the league will have something negative to say. Oliseh too bad. You removed Usman who was the heart of the team. What a coach. |
Guinea fowl flying over eagle, abi Guinea fowl eating eagle. I can't believe it could ever happened. |
Just watched the reply and I still stand on my words that chima akas is not a player. One thing I know for sure is that he will sit on bench in enyimba this season. |
Oliseh is the best coach |

Larryfly:my bro want I want you to know is that Catholic will only build you to have a personal relationship with God. The relationship is contain in the first question of the cathism class. Which who made you? and we say God made us. Why did God made you? We say God made us to KNOW HIM, SERVE HIM IN THIS WORLD HAPPYAND TO BE HAPPY AFTER OUR LIFE. Now the church has made u to know that u must have an encounter with God to know him better, serve him and be happy. How do you know God? by studying ur Bible, attending religious meeting and attending mass. Note: just as Christ was not begging for follwership the same the church doesn't beg for members to stay cos we all are going to account for our sins. |
erusen:differentiate between Catholic as a religion and been in relationship with God |
Larryfly:it's because ur mind is almost made up against the Catholic Church. Secondly, what u want to hear in the Catholic Church is not said but things of the world like prosperity, mistaking magic as miracle and prasing God in an unholy way. My advice is either u should leave the Catholic Church and go and look for the "light" then after some weeks ask ur self if u are comfortable with ur self. Or sit down and ask to ahead of you in faith to enlighten you in Catholic faith through God way. |
Nice play by Ibenegbu |
Yes watch out for my guy ezekiel bassey |
