Sports › Lmc, La Liga Seal Bilateral Pact On Development by Empredboy(op): 7:33am On Dec 04, 2015 |
Following discussions finalized at the sidelines of the 2nd World Leagues Forum in Paris, France between the League Management Company (LMC) and the Spanish La Liga, Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Clubs’ officials will early next year undergo capacity building programs through conferences and workshops on sports development, marketing, financial control, club administration, stadium security and players’ development. Chairman of the LMC, Shehu Dikko, who was one of the 23 heads of leading global national leagues in attendance at the meeting held on December 1, said the program is the outcome of his meeting with Javier Tebas, chairman of La Liga. Further to the discussions which pre-dated the meeting in France, Dikko disclosed that “the LMC has already received a working document and what we did at the meeting in Paris was to agree to next steps including the arrangements to send our delegates to Madrid. They are also waiting on our dates which I think we are considering early February”. Giving further insight into the contents of the agreement, the LMC Chairman said, “we concluded collaboration between the NPFL and the La Liga towards assisting the NPFL in its developmental programs in areas of capacity building that will be achieved through conferences and workshops on technical matters such as Coaching, match administration, marketing, financial control, stadium security and players’ development etc”. He said there also will be programs on knowledge exchange between the La Liga Clubs and the NPFL Clubs, noting that “this will involve the participation of club administrators, coaches and technical personnel from the NPFL Clubs to Spain for technical understudy with La Liga Clubs. They also will from time to time send their own officials here”. Initial contact with the La Liga was made at the first World Leagues Meeting in England and while extensive discussions were held between officials of the LMC and the La Liga, the Spanish league extended an invitation to the LMC for concretization of the mutual pact. Dikko said, “The LMC will continue to explore bilateral beneficial pacts for the growth of the league and more especially for our Club Managers who are the spine of the structure of any successful league. We must translate the leaps at the LMC to administration at the club level and this we seek to achieve through collaborations with some of the world acclaimed successful leagues”. The LMC Chairman was among the 23 Chairmen of the leading world leagues that met in Paris, France on Tuesday, December 1 to form the World Leagues Association, an umbrella body that will interface with FIFA on matters relating to professional football in the world. Five members led by the head of the Mexico’s Liga MX, Enrique Bonilla were selected to develop a final framework for the association. Other members are Commissioner of the United States’ Major League Soccer, Don Garber, Mitsuri Murai of Japan’s J- League, Christian Seifert, the Chief Executive of German Football League and Frederic Thiriez, the President of the French League |

so it has gone from honouring Mary to taking lost souls to heaven?? your case can hardly be salvaged.
Jesus Christ is the "only" mediator between God and Man. Jesus Christ is the "only" way, truth and life. NO man cometh to the father except through him. Mr Man, and all your fellow Catholics, you ain't taking nobody to heaven.
Mary is no mediator between you and Jesus. Jesus is the only mediator. She is not a means to get to the son. You need only Jesus. Nothing more, nothing less. bro who says he is not the way? We all know! |

2Cor6:1 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2 For he says,
“In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.”[a] I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
Col1:24 Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
Do you still say that we are not co-workers with Christ for the salvation of the world?
Then you have to scrap these verses from the bible, right?

Millerz: bros, there's no addition or subtraction to the word of GOD.
Jesus "alone" is our lord and personal saviour who bore our burden, faced humiliation, died for us that we may be reconciled with God the father.
I will not respond to further conflicting views on this issue. If you do not know that Jesus Christ "alone" is our only saviour then you shouldn't call yourself a Christian. yes we know but you forgot is that we are the ones to take the Lost souls to Jesus. Mary never said she is the saviour of the world but a means to get to his son. We Catholic get tired when you people still hammer on Mary's role and the Saints in our lives. This has been on since I knew Christianity and it will continue to be like that until the end of time. So we don't have to continuing explaining this to you. |

vooks: Jesus is God Jesus is God
Because He is God, He can do what you can't; 1. He created and sustains the creation with His word 2. He gives eternal life 3. He speaks to dead men
So Jesus doing this is no license for you to do it. When a creature attempts to mimic the Creator, that is idolatry and blasphemy where is your faith? Christ said if u have faith u can move mountain. Also we Christians are Christ like and we in Christ we can do all this through him. So with faith, moving of mountains doesn't mean moving mountain everest or kilimajaro but doing what is impossible for non Christian to do. Now adeboye has moved a mountain by declaring that awolowo is in heaven but you a shallow Christian won't understand. Just as Christ said destroy this temple then in three days I will rebuild it. Non Christians and shallow Christians like u kicked against it. So if u car belief in Christ process how will you belief in his people (church) process. Remember he said his kingdom is not of this world so whatever the church does is not forth the world to understand because we are in the world but not of the world. Your church is of the world that is why you understand ur church but catholic is not of the world which is the reason we are not understood. |

1. They condemn sacramentals then wear their own 'sacramentals' (Chosen apron)
2. They condemn the changing of water to wine but they drink petrol when their pastor says he's changed it to pineapple juice.
3. The condemn catholic vestments, then Adefarasin copies it and they love it.
4. They say the Pope has no right to say John Paul is in heaven, but they cannot condemn Adeboye for saying Awolowo is in heaven.
Hypocrites! in addition They don't call their pastors fr but they call them daddy. They belief what ever their pastors say or prophesies even without consulting the Bible but accuse the Catholic of not reading the Bible |

What I mean is when I was younger, some of the pentecostal churches I attended were not observing the sharing of the holy communion but now they do it, now a 'strong man' of God has canonized a dead person of which they condemned, I can bet you that with they thread these pentecostal churches are going they will remember the meaning of 'Christ conquering death' that death has no power over the living an the dead. Ubenedictus: they claim the pope cannot declear that a dead xtian is in heaven, but pastor adeboye can. They will come here and attempt to defend him.
I once had a friend he was a member of oyedepo's 'church', we happened to discuss many issues regarding doctrines, he would demonise catholics for calling their priest 'rev fr' but he didnt see d hypocrisy of calling oyedepo 'papa'. The issue that interested me d most was dat this guy didnt blieve in d trinity(he picked his opinion from a tele evangelist), we spent close to a year discussing trinity, i wasted my time taking him through passage by passage and showing how in d fullness of time God revealed himself as a mutual indwelling of 3 persons, he told me that my explanation were fine but that an unbeliever wit a bible won't be able to read trinity there so he concluded it was a theory of man, d issue bcame too hot, i had to let it be. 6months later dis guy claim he now believed in d trinity, how come? And influential pastor/writter taught it in his book so he accepted it as true.
After several such case, i came to d conclusion that most protestants don't care what d truth is, if their pastor or writter is against d catholic d average protestant will do d same and he will maintain d catholic practice is wrong not minding d fact his church has a similar one. It is hypocrisy but d protestant doesnt care, ro far he has sumtin to protest about. that's why they are called protestants |

You can never see anyone worshipping Mary stature or praying with the help of rosaries. Nor do u hear trash about praying for a sinner after death. you know why we get tired of all u anti Catholics? It's because u come up with the same reason why u think Catholics are not Christians even after we used the Bible to prove that our doctrines are drafted from the Bible. What else can we use to prove a point to you people? Can you assure your self that the pentecostal church you are worshipping now will still be in existence in the next 100 yrs or after your GO has gone (dead)? Read act 5:35-39. Why not let God be the judge. Think of your church. If Catholic is not of God 2000 yrs would have been too much for it to last. How old is your church? |

The book of the new testament clearly does not favour the catholic traditions, as you can see by the post of the OP. If they revised it wouldn't it have been wise to change the bible to favour them.
The bible aka word of God has existed for thousands of years and it still remains the same which is a proof that our God is a living God. There have been many threats to distroy the word of God but they all failed. Tell us what doesn't favour the Catholic from the new testament |

1# How much does the Premier league winner collect? 2# how much does Champion league winner collect? 3# World cup winer 4# During the world cup and champion league, Do Clubs get money for any stage passed? Do they pay stage by stage? I know you may not know the exact amount but anything close will suffice. You can also add some other things you may think I don't know. Help a brother to become a soccer authority. they do. But major income comes from TV right, endorsement, players development to sales, match day ticket. Last season chelsea got. Here is the breakdown of 99m pounds chelsea got as a champion. The precise eye-watering sum was £98,999,554, made up of £24.9m ‘merit’ cash for finishing top of the table, £19.98m ‘facility fees’ for being in so many live TV games, plus equal shares of the domestic TV deal (nearly £22m), overseas TV deals (£27.8m) and commercial income from the leagues sponsors, such as Barclays (£4.4m). Also here in naija the total breakdown of money enyimba got was as follow Champion 30m, appearance fee 15m, away wins 6*500k=3m,away draw 7*250k =1.75m, attendance over 5000 fans=19 home matches *500k =9.5m. Total 59m approximately. This is just what the lmc will give enyimba excluding gate tickets, sales of players like Obabiyi rasheed to mls league in America. Then kit sponsor joma. |

ademega: most times I dont like asking questions during the Sunday school service because most times its always an issue. some do see me as unrepentant unbeliever while some sees me as a realist.
most times I don't like going for Sunday school because I will always have one controversial question to ask.
today, the Sunday school was included in the normal service, so I was opportune to be their. for redeem members, today's topic is destiny destroyers. the things that do destroy destinies were mentioned, which were, sin, prayeless life, laziness and secular issues.
after said and done, I asked my questions backing it up with examples.
1) how can one know he is fulfilling his or destiny? can we say dangote or davido are not fulfilling their destiny knowing fully well that they engage in one or two of this destiny destroyer? a Christian that is prayerful, hard working and does not cherish worldly things but very poor, can we say such is fulfilling destiny? what is the measurement of destiny fulfilment?
2) can some change his or her destiny? let say do u have control over your destiny? knowing fully well that we didnt choose our parents from the start.
all the answers provided were not convincing enough. pls any good answer? to answer the first question, in Catholic teaching, God created us to know him, love him and to serve him in this world and be the next. To back it up with Bible, there is no where Christ promised us riches if we serve him instead he condemned the rich. Even Christ didn't promise us long life. So how destiny to b rich, get old, give birth can never change that is why the early Christian songs was just praises not asking for miracle. If one receives miracle, he is destined to be healed so that God can show his glory not any pastor. Examples of this destiny miracles are the death of lazzarus in th the Bible n other Christ miracle |

Representing the team was Captain Chinedu Udoji and Ezekiel Bassey who received the cheque from the League Management Company Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko. The presentation was done at half time during the Federation Cup final game between Lobi Stars and Akwa United. Enyimba won the Nigeria Professional Football League trophy getting 70 points from 38 games. The winner of this year’s GLO nigeria Professional Football League got a whopping sum of 30 million naira cash prize which is twice the amount Kano pillars got last year for winning the league. Speaking exclusively to soccerblitz.net, Chinedu Udoji attributed his side’s success to God and promised to work harder as the team plays in the CAF champions League next season. “First of all, I want to give all glory to God for winning the league, It is not my might but God gave us this league and am very happy and proud to lift the league trophy after finishing second to Kano Pillars last season. ” “We have to work harder next season, for the past four/five seasons no team in the league has gotten to the group stages of the CAF champions League, we have to work hard to achieve that and with the quality of players we have in our squad, we can make Nigerians proud.” The cash prize for the Nigeria Professional League increased tremendously for the past three seasons, Kano Pillars got 1 million naira in 2012, 5 million naira in 2013 and eventually got 15 million naira last year for winning the league title.
