Crime / Latest Scammer In Town... by emuje(m): 11:20pm On Aug 18, 2016 |
WATCH OUT FOR THE LATEST SCAMMER IN TOWN Something happened to my sister a few weeks ago which I would like to share with u guys. My sister live in Ondo State. She was in a relationship with this young guy (photography attached below). This young guy claimed he works with GTBank plc, Lagos branch; Abiodun Joseph by name as he claimed (though we later find out that, that is not his real name). He visited my sister once in a while. He visited my sister in her private resident at Akure as usual (because my said sister is single lady). Moreover, this last visit caused a lot of broken heart and confusion after the guy disappeared with almost N200,000 (cash) he took in her apartment. And he also went away with her personal phone and some documents that can be used to trace him easily. Not only that, he later used my sisters' android phone to buy recharge cards/data amounted to almost N50,000 from her bank account thru mobile banking. That was how the guy disappeared till date. Am writing this, because of our young ladies out there to be extra ordinary careful when it comes to dating and relationship. From finding, we got to know that this guy is a professional scammer; he has been moving from one town/city to another... Shine your eyes! BEWARE LADIES... SO MANY SCAMMERS AROUND PRETENDING AS A POTENTIAL HUSBAND... His mobile number still remains: +234 814 113 3597 1 Share

Travel / Re: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening by emuje(m): 8:46pm On Jul 02, 2016 |
Dear VO, u guys are doing a great job. More kudos to your elbow! Pls I need a clarification; if a parent (mother) was issued 2 years visa (B1/B2) with her kids (age: 9 - 5) on the same day. They supposed to travel together to visit a family but due to circumstances beyond their control they could travel at the stipulated date but the mother later travel to US at a later date for another event different from her initial travel arrangement before she got the visa. But she was refused entry at POE by Immigration Officer, all because she didn't travel at the date she filled in her B1/B2 form or date mentioned during her interview, her initial invitee phone number was not going thru and she is four months pregnant; though she wanted to stay in the US for two weeks. Because she have to resume back to her office here in Nigeria the third week. MY QUESTIONS 1) Is there any way one can appeal the decision of Immigration officer at POE? 2) Does the decisions make by the Immigration Officer at POE on the parent (mother) visa B1/B2 has any effect on the Kids visa that they applied for the same visa together? 3) Lastly, in case if anyone of them is banned; can it have any effect on the others? Thanks |

Politics / Re: Lai Alabi Fmr MD Of Intercontinental Bank Arrested For Fraud by emuje(m): 10:01pm On Apr 19, 2012 |
Naija press!!! Well, from a liable...,M. L. Alabi was not arrested by anti-fraud unit but he was called for questioning yesterday (Wednersday) 18 -04 - 12. The news in the media are nothing to write home about. Because similar accusation was raised by Akingbola when Alabi was in-charge of Intercontinental. Mind u, Shonga Farm didn't below to Bukola Saraki. I think, the press need to do more research before writing their story. At moment M. L. Alabi is with his family. |
Religion / Re: Celestial Church of Christ: Your Experience And Opinion by emuje(m): 3:46pm On Nov 16, 2007 |
How feasible is this claim of yours my sis? How can this hold? CCC hymnbook says "the ways of God are unlikely in doing its work, his way no one, ," ("Ona ti Olorun ngba soro, lati se ise re, ona re enikan ko mo, awa ma ridi ni, alaigbagbo won yio si na, won ko ise Oluwa, sugbon awon ti won gba Oluwa gbo, won ki yio gbofo laiye". |

I am a celestian and i have been attending the church for over 25 year. Infact, my younger ones are born into the church. To cut the long story short, what i would say is that what everybody has been saying about the church is right either the urgly or the good. The problem most people have with the church is that they never understand the doctrine of church (Celestial Church of Christ) before joining the church. Cele is quite diff from all other churches, as the name imply 'Ijo mimo ti kristi lati orun wa' (There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another) 1 Cor. 15V40. So my dear brothers and sisters never compare Celestial Church of Christ with any other churches. Is a divine church! I think the church is okay, the worshipers are the one giving the church a bad name or reputation and likewise we have some good christians among the worshipers. Concerning the issue of leadership among the elders of the church. Am aware thaat the late Pastor founder of the church had prophesied about it before he dead. I believe similar thing can equally happen in other denomination whenever their leaders pass-on. Less i forget there is a guy (gbenga_8ja) that raised an issue that the former Pastor A. A. Baba (late) beefed his father and some elders of the church; that was the reason they left the church. he also says that his father lost all his properties in the process. Am very sorry for what happened to you and your family. I happenned to be in your daddy's church (Transmission Parish, Abule-Egba) last adult harvest '1994' or so. And i know some elders and even friends that are close to your daddy before he left Celestial Church of Christ. I can say authoritative that your daddy is the architect of his misfortune. I think he should have explained everything that transpired between him and some elders of the church instead of keeping u his children in the dark. I wouldn't want to say more than that, So, my people Celestial Church of Christ is a good church to be. I wish i have more time i would have loved to talk more about Celestial Church of Christ. The church descended by Jesus Christ Himself. THE LAST BOAT OF SAVIOUR ( OKO IGBALA IKEHIN)! To sum, what matter is the relationship between u and your God u're serving and i don't think and i will never believe that Cele should be an issue we will crying about. Bcoz in the processing we might even be offering our creator. There is a cele popular song that says 'if the whole world turned against Celestial Church of Christ, they would always bow to God's'. (Bi gbogbo aiye dite mo wa, won gbodo teriba fun Oluwa). Ijo mimo ko ni baje o! HALELLUYA! |
