Apple and Tecno mobile have launched their flagship smartphones for 2016 , the iPhone 7 and Phantom 6. With the high-end specs and technicality on both devices , i can't help but wonder if the Phantom 6 can go head-to-head with the iPhone 7.

Personally , i haven't laid my hands on any of the devices (lol , who dash me iPhone 7? grin) and it will be unfair to judge something i haven't used , However , i decided to create a chart showing the side by side specifications of the iPhone 7 and Phantom 6. You be the judge :

Highly inaccurate and what were your basis or criteria for selecting the phones on that list? For instance, what is a HTC One M8 doing on the list? A 2 year old phone that underperformed. Where is Huawei P9 Lite that sells for 79k?
Huawei P9 Lite? 75k? Please wake me up!!

Flash charging is over rated really.. Discovered that one can bypass all that by simply getting an ORIGINAL charger head with a very good output like 1.8-3A.... Though the tym taking to charge varies.. It should really be within the flash charge time frame..

Using a non-infinix charger to charge my infinix at the moment and I am loving it.. Cos my phone no dey run down as fast as when I been dey use infinix follow come charger to charge my hot note.

P.S-An original charger goes for around 2k..
You're right. There was a time the charger of my Gionee M5 mini got spoilt and I had to get another charger.

I got the New age charger (2.5k) and all I can say is

"That charger dey fly!!!"

I'v never seen any charger as fast as it

Nairaland General2 Solid Reasons Why September Is The Best Month To Start Saving by Encrypted(op): 2:50pm On Sep 05, 2016
When was the last time you saved money?

2months ago? , 6months ago? 2015? Haha!

We all know that the economy is in recession. Things are hard and saving money is almost impossible. But before you spend your salary , let me give you reasons why September is the best month to start saving.

2 Reasons Why You Should Save More Money This September.

https://kosavadeals.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/September.jpg

1. The Festive Period Is Near :

The month of September ushers in the "mber" months , which includes  October , November & December.

This period is usually characterised by lots of festivities and travels in which a lot of money is spent.

During this festive period (usually from October) , there is usually a drastic increase in price of goods and commodities , as smart traders capitalise on this once in a year opportunity to make more money.

So it is really important for you to start saving this month so that you have enough for the festive season.

2. January Is Usually Hard

Let's admit it!

January is usually the HARDEST!! month of the year

Why?

Because there is no money and the expenses are so much. House rent , school fees , staff salaries and many more.

A lot of money is spent on festivities and January is all about "Picking up the pieces".

Its wise of you to save now so that your January will not be so difficult.

Don't you think so?

WebmastersKonga Affiliate by Encrypted(op):
[s]Last week , a friend of mine complained that Konga wiped out all the pending commissions on two of his affiliate accounts (32k in one and 15k in the other). I didn't believe him because i thought its impossible.

Fastforward to today , same thing happened to me and i just cannot believe myself right now.

- This morning , i logged into my affiliate account and had 33k approved / 72k pending commission

- In the afternoon , i logged in and saw the same thing , 33k approved / 72k pending commission

- This evening , around 9:26pm , i logged into my dashboard and got a shocker!. , 33k approved / 12k pending!!

Konga wiped out over #60,000 pending commission AT ONCE!!!!!. To show that something fishy happened , the only commission remaining is ₦ ‎12 087.44 which is EXACTLY the same amount i made this month. Where did my 60k go? What happened to my pending commissions for the last two months?

I have sent them an email and they're yet to reply. I strongly believe that Someone intentionally wiped out all my hardwork.

Konga Affiliate is a huge mess. Their commission per sale is the lowest i've ever seen ; 0.5% per sale. Imagine selling over 1.6million naira worth of products and getting just 12k as commission. Its not worth the stress.

Please help me broadcast this message till it gets to the right people in charge.
[/s]

Update : The issue has been resolved. Thanks!!

TravelHow The Economic Recession Is Affecting Travel In Nigeria by Encrypted(op): 6:23pm On Aug 11, 2016
In July 2016, the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun , announced that Nigeria’s economy was technically in recession. This official statement came on the heels of a similar statement credited to the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele who admitted that the economy was in stagflation. These revelations no doubt point to the fact that all is not well with Nigeria’s economy.

For many stakeholders in the transportation sector, these official statements should have come earlier because Forex scarcity , occasioned by the fall in crude oil prices has strangulated the local economy making many airlines struggle while others have wound up.

As the current hardship persists in the wake of dwindling local economy, airlines and transporters are put in a difficult position. They complain of low patronage as our investigations reveal. A visit to Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos indicates that there’s general reduction in activities.

Our source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said: “Most of our planes now depart from here and return from other countries half of what they used to carry.” According to the industry source, “Why the aviation sector is experiencing low patronage is that most people who patronize airlines are rich people, middle class income earners, government officials, and officials of multinational companies. But now that these people are complaining there’s no money, it is taking a heavy toll on us. Many of these comfortable people have stopped embarking on lavish abroad trips and shopping.”

Further investigations by Nigeriatravelblog.com revealed that not only local carriers are feeling the economic downturn as many of their foreign counterparts have concluded arrangement to pull out of Nigeria owing to FX crisis while others have already withdrawn their services from Nigeria. It would be recalled that US carrier United Airlines on 30th June ended daily flights between Houston, Texas and Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos. In the similar vein, Spanish airline Iberia had withdrawn its services to Nigerian travellers a month before.

The continuous withdrawal of these giants from Nigeria’s airspace means job losses, reduced government earning (in taxes), and limited travellers’ choices. International Airport Transport Association (IATA) released a statement in May, 2016 saying that “The inability of airlines to access forex in Africa’s largest economy, if not resolved, will affect air travels within and outside Nigeria – and if that happens, it will undermine Nigeria’s position as West Africa aviation hub.” “Furthermore, as a result of foreign exchange restrictions imposed by Federal Government, foreign airlines have not been able to repatriate over $600m in ticket sales” IATA says.

This tale of woes isn’t just narrated by airline operators in the country , as the impact is also felt among major commercial bus operators in Nigeria. A visit to the ever-busy Jibowu motor park in Lagos on Sunday revealed a general drop in hustle and bustle which characterized the area. From God Is Good Motors to Chisco, from E. Ekeson to The Young Shall Grow, there is general drop in activities. A ticketer with one of the major transporters who identified himself as Emeka opined: “Everybody is crying no money – no money! And if you check yourself too you will see they are right. Our patronage has really dropped because there is no money now, but we are hoping things will get better before the end of the year.”

As travellers continue to justify the need to travel in the light of persistent economic hardship, it is hoped that the economy would improve in the near future. Federal Government of Nigeria had earlier promised to diversify its crude oil-revenue financed economy as a way of increasing government earnings and stimulating the economy, but apparently, much hasn’t been done in that area. As optimistic Nigerians await the government to revamp the local economy, many others have remained despondent saying that the government lacks direction and focus as Nigerians have witnessed policy somersault in recent times.

Well, no matter the side of the divide you are on, one thing is crystal clear – Nigeria’s economy is in recession and this is rearing its ugly head in the transportation sector of the economy – discouraging fun seekers from travelling. Official figures had it that Nigeria’s economy contracted by 0.4% in the first quarter of this year.

From the foregoing, there’s a connection between the economy and travel around Nigeria. As the country’s apex bank, the CBN, has introduced flexibility into the foreign exchange market as a way of reviving the ailing economy, Nigeriatravelblog.com will continue to monitor the (micro and macro) economy as well as report its multiplier effect on travel business in Nigeria in the coming days.
