When i was growing up, i had a big dream of achieving greatness at a tender age but it fell like a pack of card..
I believed i was born with this social disorder called autism..
This happenes Many years ago when i was still a teenager..
My parents never adviced me or helped me to over this social disorder.
I was bully and called all sorts of name in school.
I grown up believing that staying indoor and not interacting with people was a good thing.
The rest of my siblings will go out and play with their friends while i stay indoor.
My so called parents will always say that they are proud of it.
It even got to a stage that i each time that i see my classmate or people knocking or came visiting i will run and hide on sighting them..
Infact is a very long story..
All my classmates are graduates, married and earn good money while i am still here trying to put my life in order.

Like Oyindidi said, they were protecting you but they could have attached you to a special education teacher or school to help you adapt proper.
You were a special child because you deviated from the norm and you couldn't fit into the society at that time so you had to be indoors.
But are you sure it's autism cos it's really serious and you could think straight?

Yup, most people are around you cos you have something. Lose that thing and watch them disappear from your life. Though I always remember people most times and I'm sometimes the first to communicate with them after a long time.
Though I sometimes wish I never had this caring attitude of mine; it kills at some point.

You check the transcription using a dictionary. You can also use dictionary with audios and get actual pronunciations.

I also used to think everything flies when they speak, since they're the originators, but believe me you, they themselves argue incessantly with themselves...visit their English/Grammar learning forums and see for yourself.

I never said H was a vowel. The sounds after the h are vowel sounds as in honour, hour and heir etc

The only reason why I would wanna leave Abj is because of change of environment cos I spent most of my life here. My life is "easy, oo jeje" and I have this feeling I won't last long in Lagos.
