See how i combine the 4hrs TF and 1hr to get my entry.....i watch out for PA rejection or a bounce off the channel edge on the 4hr TF before i start looking for entries on the 1hr....

With the pix you can see how i got my last SELL and current EU BUY.....both paid over 250pips

Hmmmmm.....how to spot trend continuation?

When price rejects or bounce off the 36 EMA and could not break the QQE but touch it and turn....then the trend is likely to continue

E.g.....In an uptrend trend on the 4hr TF.... A candle breaks the 36 EMA and close below it(trying to change trend) but the second candle could not sustain the break rather bulled and closed above it again that is a false break and a BOUNCE for the uptrend to continue....

this bounce usually form a PA pattern called bullish/bearish ENGULFING PATTERN... look at the bounce and continuation example on the pix.

Note: When the WellxAMA is flat is signifies a ranging and choppy market....

You can add you normal pivot points/Support and Resistance indy on the 1hr TF to further make your entry very strong...i won't tell everything naa abi?

I also make use of my Fibos....just like my Oga Infofirst

However,if the rules are strictly followed with patience you will smile to the bank...don't take my word for it

Please i will welcome some good criticisms and inputs...anything that needs clearance pls ask..

TREND FOLLOWING STRATEGY as promised....if you have some indicators from the BOSS system just pick the GANN SSL 4HR and the XPS OSCILATOR indicators i have attach the rest..

As much as i have tested this strategy it rarely fails though not all trade are winners but you will definitely get big ride when you get it right..

Like i said i do my usual analysis on the daily and weekly time frame then drop down to look out for signals that corresponds with my analysis and trigger.if it fails then i know i followed my strategy strictly and lose responsibly..

Now the setup is very easy as you can see from the EU chart..the indicators are

1. QQE...use for your trigger on 1hr TF

2. GANN SSL 4HR....for likely change of trend on the 4hrs TF but viewed on the 1hr TF

3. WellxAMA.....shows you a Trending/Ranging market simultaneously


Entry Rules....BUY

1. Wiat for price to bounce off the lower channel on the 4hrs TF....a PRICE ACTION bar preferred like ( pin bar)

2. Switch to 1hr and wait for the GANN SSL 4HR to change direction and the WellxAMA crosses it above and allow the candle that breaks the GANN to close

3. Join the candle that crosses above the QQE 50 line..


SELL Rules..

1. Wiat for price to bounce off the upper channel on the 4hrs TF......a PRICE ACTION bar preferably ( pin bar)

2. Switch to 1hr and wait for the GANN SSL 4HR to change direction to up and the WellxAMA crosses it below then allow the candle that breaks the GANN to close completely

3. Join the candle that cross of QQE below the 50 line.....very simple


EXIT RULES......

Aggressive....exit at the opposite setup and rejoin if you like....usually +100pips

Conservative....Take profit at 50pips this is usually 1:1.5 R.R.R

STOP LOSS....10 pips above or below the GANN SSL.....its usually less than 50pips


NOTE: Even when all parameters are met do note trigger if price has not crossed the QQE 50 line...once price has broken the 50 line that is most often the beginning of the trend as such if you want to ride the trend you are only safe when price has broken the 50 line on the 4HR TF...once price is close to the QQE 50 line on the 4hrs be on the watch as it can get there and turnaround....combine this with 36 EMA you can spot a bounce and possible continuation.....pls take note

Compare the last EU sell with the pix on my previous post what do you see?

Though i entered slightly late by few candles on the 5/12/2012 at about 20:21hrs but it still paid i came out with +150pips before the recent buy that is still going.

Take a look at the recent EU buy pix.... what do you see? entered on the 10th at 16:00hrs.... Another +100pips abi?

I want to share a simple trend following strategy i have been using for sometime now to catch pips in 100's...Although my major analysis is basically on PRICE ACTION on the daily and weekly TF to determine the bigger picture because that is what drives the smaller time frame.

The EJ,EU pix are examples of what am talking about.

As a matter of fact from couple of seasons back this thread lost its content, just a bunch of old men and women fighting up and down, so I decided to run my journal here instead of writing it in my book like i used to.

Notice my post has nothing to do with showing who's system is better but to educate the newbies on what a typical day is like for a full time intraday trader like me.

I update my posts at the start of every one hour candle except when circumstances beyond my control stops me but if i dont make any post at a certain hour it means previous standing remains.

I apply a trading method i call DAILY RISK ALLOCATION (DRA).

Summary:
DRA= 60 pips
lot size= static per trading day.

What this means is that one of the following must happen. Exhaust and loose the DRA or make money on it. Will teach more on it based on the reception i get here. We are all learning. No egos. Love y'all.

EU i will buy or wait for today's close to determine if to sell big time.... Expecting a biggggg fall down to south
