Here are 3 lucrative businesses you can start with little to no startup capital this year. I'll list them according to their simplicity.

1. Digital content marketing (start with 0 naira ): Yeah. You can start out with literally 0 naira when it comes to digital/information marketing. It's simple, you create a product that solves a problem for people, it can be anything digital, pdf, audio, video, your favourite weight loss diet or recipe, even your WhatsApp status, you can literally sell anything. It's one of the most lucrative and profitable business out there. Best part is, if you're lazy, you don't have to create the product on your own. You can get free products, edit it to your taste, sell it, and KEEP ALL THE PROFITS. And the best part is there's no inventory probably. For instance, say you wrote a book or found and edited a free book or video (I can show you how to sort for these products) that teaches people how to do makeup by themselves, and you decide to sell this product for 5k, and 100 persons buy, that's 500k. Now the best part is you won't run out of this product because it's digital. You can sell it over and over again. Even up to 100,000,000 million times. I mean, Bitcoin chief, a very popular trader did over 50 million naira selling digital product like this.


2. Affiliate marketing.(start with 0 naira): Another lucrative business where you sell other peoples product for commission. Let me explain how this works. So take for instance, a new store opens up in your area, and they sell shoes, clothes, or bags, you name it, you can go to this store, and strike a deal that might go like this - for every person I bring to your store to buy your shoes that sells for 25k, I'll get 5k or 3k out of it. So let's do the maths. If you're able to bring 100 person a month, and your commission for each person is say, 3k that's 100 x 3000. That's soft 300k a month, selling a product that does not belong to you. You get the gist now. You can affiliate for anything, books, clothes, shoes, pdfs, audiobooks, even online courses, and sometimes gadgets and the likes.


3. Dropshipping (startup with 0 to 100k) : so dropshipping is similar to affiliate marketing in that it involves you, selling other peoples product. However they are not the same. See, the dropshipping business is different. In simple English, here's how it goes - let's say you go to AliExpress or Jumia, you sort for trending products, you take those products and market them to people who might have interest in buying this product. The customer pays you, you take out your profit, pay the original vendor at jumia or AliExpress and have the goods shipped directly to the customer. So to the customer, you own the product, when in reality you have never even touched the product. Let's use an example you can relate with. Say Mary wants to drop ship. She goes online to AliExpress and sees that ringlights are selling well this season, 1 for dollars. She takes a few pictures and begins marketing it on her social media, or even runs ads on any of her choice. She acts like she own the product, but here's the thing, she won't market it for 3 dollars, she'll add her profit and sell it for maybe 10 dollars, that's a profit of 7 dollars, Whatever she wants. When a customer orders for one, she takes the customers address and then she goes to the vendor on AliExpress that sells the ringlights for 3 dollars and buys it at that amount, she then gives the vendor the customer details in place of her own ( so to the customer, she acts as the vendor, and to the vendor she acts as the customer) and then the vendor ships the product directly to the customer that bought it, without even knowing who Mary is. So after this, Mary makes 7dollars in profit that's About 3900 naira in profit. Now imagine she receives 100 orders a week. That's soft 390,000. In profit.

You can start with anyone of your choice, but you should do your own research first before going into any business venture.
