mrvitalis: Someone with Ph.D. Wrote this ??
I ask a question arrest Arawa youths and do what charge them to court for what offense ?? Same offense they wrote telling you they were quoted out of context ??
Honest a Ph.D. Holder should know that in the court of law emotion and feelings has no place
We all know what the Arawa youths said ..but with a written letter that they were misunderstood you can't charge them to court ...that's something even a child should know mr Ph.D.
Yes what Arawa youths did is bad and should and have been condermed and they should be put on watch list ..that's just about all you can do
Kanu signed a court bail condition and has violated it openly and they fg has done what is right by approaching the court to say ...you see why we Say you shouldn't have given him bail
Kanu has two option play a coward like the Arawa and deny his quotes ( which will make him a coward )
Or
Accept to go back to jail and demand for speedy trials and face the judgement
All this emotional epistle and story won't take us anywhere
If you have a fact bring it out I bet you to run a DNA test you will be surprised with the result. Your hate for great Igbos has made you to lack good reasoning. You want us to believe that you are wiser than the UN that called for their arrest |

Go enlighten yourself. Learn the meaning of "Prone" and "Vulnerable". Then proceed to know types of erosion. The worst type of erosion happens all over the East.
The East will be washed off to Ogun state in decades to come.
"Gully Erosion" Kikikikk.. Afonjas are really funny set. Hello! As far as am concerned, erosion is erosion there is nothing like prone or vulnerable when it comes to erosion. |

In the midst of mediocrity that was Nigeria, your dad showed me you can distinguish yourself per excellence. In a civilised society, your dad's work would be meticulously studied. Sir, why I write is to tell you Nigeria is not working. For 56 years we have been trying to make it work. it is not working. Wemimoigida: About 60 new sites vulnerable to erosion among other ecological threats have been identified in Oyo state, Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr Isaac Ishola has disclosed.
Ishola made disclosure on Monday at the instance of the visit by the Ecological fund office, Abuja, to the state to assess ecological problem sites.
Speaking at Eleekara Academy, Ibadan, which one of the problem sites visited, Ishola said the visit was in line with the request by the state for continued federal government intervention in addressing ecological problems.
Beyond the 60 fresh sites, he noted that state government had also sought federal government’s intervention in some other problematic sites.
Speaking on observations from the assessment, leader of the Ecological fund team, Mr Lawrence Ojabo decried poor maintenance of existing structures, dumping of refuse in drainages and blockage of waterways.
He bemoaned that Nigerians continued to create problems for themselves by failing to take heed to environmental sanitation rules.
He said collaboration between federal, state and local communities was the FG’s strategy in resolving ecological problems.
“Some of these problems are our own creations. If you clog the water ways, you create problems and there would be devastation because water will find its own level. If you dump refuse on water ways, drainages, you create problems and this is a major problem in our environment. This is not helpful to the government, community and individuals.”
“Government does not have enough resources to re-do projects that were done before. Due to lack of maintenance, you see a lot of structures giving way. So the federal government is trying to ensure that federal, state and local government work together to address ecological problems.”
The ecological fund team which toured various ecological problematic sites in Ibadan, on Monday, will visit other parts of Oyo state by Thursday. But afonjas said that SE is the only erosion ravaged place in nigger area. This people sabi lie no be small |

OduduaDefender: Ijaw Youth Council Dissociates Itself From Biafra Agitators:
The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), on Monday, warned pro-Biafra groups such the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to desist from including Ijaw territories in the map of Biafra, stressing that the Ijaw ethnic nationality never consented to be a part of Biafra. Dismissing claims credited to pro-Biafra organizations that the Ijaw nation is part of Biafra, the IYC, in a statement signed by its spokesman, Daniel Dasimaka, said the Ijaw people have never been Biafrans. The IYC said that the old eastern region of Nigeria was a political contraption that enslaved the Ijaw people, adding that it was created by those who also orchestrated "this miscarriage of a state called Nigeria." The group noted that the Ijaws are not in any way against the genuine aspirations of all peoples, including the MASSOB and IPOB, to attain self- determination or secession, but they should not drag the Ijaw ethnic nationality into their geographical expressions. “Ijaws are a distinct ethnic nation that has existed before the 1914 amalgamation and has its own dreams, wishes, and aspirations that should not be submerged as footnotes in any other peoples' struggles. “We Ijaw people are not Biafrans. Therefore, if or when a Ijaw person or group feel a sense of allegiance to Biafra and speaks in its favor, let it be known that such statements are the personal opinions of such persons, which do not reflect the thoughts, views, and wishes of the entire Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta people,” the group’s statement read. The IYC also warned "overzealous members of IPOB" to stop further insults on respected Ijaw elders and leaders, particularly critical stakeholders like Ann Kio Briggs, who had committed so much to the Niger Delta, stressing that such insults would no longer be tolerated. “For the record, the Ijaw struggle for self-determination predates the Biafra agitation. It is a known historical fact that a year before the world got to hear of the term Biafra Republic, Ijaws, led by the late Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro of blessed memory, declared a Niger Delta Republic in pursuit of the emancipation of the Niger Delta people, which the progenitor of Biafra, late Col. Ojukwu of blessed memory, fought against as the then governor of the old eastern region. "It is also on record that a year before MASSOB was founded, the IYC, through the Kaiama Declaration, affirmed ‘our commitment to joint struggle with the other ethnic nationalities in the Niger Delta area for self-determination.' “We express our solidarity with all peoples’ organizations and ethnic nationalities in Nigeria and elsewhere who are struggling for self-determination and justice," the IYC added.

Politics › Re: Ijaws Are Not Biafrans - Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide by enemybulldozer(m): 3:28pm On Aug 14, 2017 |
sixtuschimere: Worried by several malicious and thought provoking attempts and by pro-Biafra groups like the Movement for the Actualisation of a Sovereign State Of Biafra (MOASSOB) and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to include Ijaw territories in the maps of Biafra without proper consultations and consent of the Ijaw ethnic nationality.
The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide has distant itself and the Ijaw nation from that fictitious map claiming Ijaw territories as been part of Biafra for there was never a time we were Biafrans. The Old Eastern region was also a contraption that so much enslaved the Ijaw people that was created by those who created this miscarriage of a State called Nigerian. It should be noted that the Ijaws are not in any way against the genuine aspirations of all peoples including the IPOB to attain self determination or secession as the case may be.
Ijaws are a distinct ethnic nation even before the 1914 amalgamation that has its own dreams, wishes and aspirations that should not be submerged as footnotes in any other people’s struggle. We Ijaw people are not Biafrans. Therefore if or when any Ijaw person or group feel a sense of allegiance to Biafra and speak in its favour, let it be known that such statements are the personal opinions of such persons, which does not reflect the thoughts, views and wishes of the entire Ijaw Nation and the Niger Delta people.
The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide through the National Spokesman Daniel Williams Dasimaka issued this strict warning to all the overzealous and misinformed IPOB members to desist from insulting our respected Elders and critical stakeholders especially our mother in the Niger Delta Madam Annkio Briggs who have dedicated so much of her life, time, resources and energy for the past 19 years agitating for the economic and the environmental freedom of the people of Niger Delta. The drivers of IPOB should therefore call their followers to order for such act of bigotry will no longer be tolerated from any body or group of persons.
For the records, the Ijaw struggle for Self-Determination predates the Biafra agitation. It is a known historical fact that a year before the world got to hear of the term Biafra Republic, Ijaws led by late Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro of blessed memory declared a Niger Delta Republic in pursuit of the emancipation of the Niger Delta people which the progenitor of Biafran Late Col Ojukwu of blessed memory fought against as the then Governor of the Old Eastern region when the going was going good with him in the Nigerian State. It is also on record that a year before MOASSOB was founded; the IYC through the Kaiama Declaration affirmed ‘our commitment to joint struggle with the other ethnic nationalities in the Niger delta area for self-determination.
We expressed our solidarity with all peoples organisations and ethnic nationalities in Nigeria and elsewhere who are struggling for self-determination and justice. In particular IPOB, the struggle of the Oodua peoples Congress (OPC), the Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (Mosop), Egi Women's Movement etc.’ Thus our struggle cannot be submerged into the Biafra agitation that came after ours.
Our position has not changed. We Ijaws stand for self determination in the Nigerian federation. We stand for the convocation of a Sovereign National Conference of equally represented ethnic nationalities to discuss the nature of a democratic federation of Nigerian ethic nationalities or a Referendum to decide our future in this amalgamated marriage. As our founding fathers noted in 1998, ‘but for the economic interests of the imperialists, the Ijaw ethnic nationality would have evolved as a distinct and separate sovereign nation, enjoying undiluted political, economic, social, and cultural AUTONOMY’. Thus we call on our Biafran brothers to respect our identity. Any attempt to lump Ijaws into Biafra without the genuine consent of Ijaws is not only an insult but a futile attempt at replicating the oppression in Nigeria Biafians claim to resist. Signed Daniel Dasimaka Spokesman, Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide
