This is one city built single-handedly by Ndigbo.....same with Aba, Enugu and Owerri! Nigeria abandoned these cities for decades, while all sorts of assistance and help (both legitimate and under-hand) was given to other major cities in other regions!

Nice one Nwanemandu, I knew what I went through to upload my, and for you to take pictures in Anambra the best day is Sunday when the cities are calm, thanks for your efforts, I'm in process of relocating my business from Lagos to Awka the state capital by January 2015. from then I will have time to upload more pictures.

i hav dis friend(a gal) dat wanted more than friendship,but i was nt interested as at then.
I introduced her to my friend(a guy),he grew interest in her and told me to let her go for him,and i concurred to his plea.

I was not expecting you to do nothing other than defend, defend, defend! Sometimes accepting and learning from one's mistakes is actually a way of growing wiser and not repeating the same mistakes over.Anyhow,

The first picture is of upper Iweka flyover is the proper way to design a flyover so that one road can conveniently move across the other without obstruction.

The second picture is the same flawed design IDC is using for Awka flyovers which is built "ALONG" not across the express.


Unlike the Upper Iweka flyover where you can easily move from Awada to Ochanja simply going over the flyover and never needing to drive on the Enugu-Onitsha express to make a U-turn. At Nkpor, you will notice that you cannot drive across the expressway with that their design. You have to get on the Enugu expressway and then do a U-turn to get on the other side!

well think the flyover will be like the one at Enugu,the flyover the leads the Enugu int'l Airport.
