EyeCumInPeace:The way some of you think ehhnnn.... So it's Tinubu that let Kwan1 walk away that day, or gave him presidential pardon? Say for instance, you and your dad crosses a road rather than use a pedestrian bridge in Lagos, would you expect KAI of what's there name to drag your old man the same way they'll probably drag a young adult for the crime? Now say for instance, if your dad is soft spoken vs, the youth who has more muscle to flex. Is there a chance that the officials will be predisposed to letting your dad walk free (possibly after he drops something for "the boys" , and they book and fine a younger alagidi offender? If the answer to the above is remotely close to yes, then, why are we making all the noise about double standards, and all the self righteous near ignorance gibrish on line in the past few days? And to my personal response to you, where in the way KAI response to the situation does, say for instance, the Governor of Lagos, or the LG chairman of that LG factor in? It's more our society than leaders. Since we've been shouting leaders, leaders, has the society successfully set better standards sustainably? As we all they shout *Peter Obi* is the saviour president and panacea for our problems, go and check people that worked in the ministry when he was there... I'm sure many of them didn't like him because he was different! Them go don dey curse the man for those 8 years, and more likely began to appreciate him after the next Governor came in. My point, we are the problem and solution of Nigeria... Our Leaders only amplify and reflect our values. We all need to sit up ans stop casting stones. Hold your LG chairman accountable, your Reps in House of Assembly, and they will hold the Executives... That's how it works in the developed world that we are copying. Na only 3rd world dey focus on one man, the rest focus on the system and structure |
Amumaigwe:I don't think the reason K1 is not jailed is because he is a Yoruba man! If you think that, then you are yet to know a few things about power. Heck, let any Yoruba youth go and try beating up an airline staff any where in this nation, and I repeat, anywhere, and see if they wouldn't get picked up! I saw the video with K1 preventing the aircraft from taking off... Check if he is the first "big man" in Nigeria to hold a plane to "ransom", and I don't think he'll be the last. . Our society like most have different laws for rich and poor. It's everywhere, just how it's shown differs from place to place. Let's not self perpertuate the tribalistic divide and conquer narrative our political upper class use to manipulate us. |
Softmirror:Well, personally, I don't agree with the picture painted here. It's essentially sensationalism at the least if not text book playing to the gallery or being economical with contextual relevance, and what it tells me is that Obi is no different from all the other politicians when it comes to certain issues. I'll give him a benefit out doubt and say, someone else handles some of the Twits we see. |
For some reason, saying she will be remembered for the joy and warmth transmitted feels a little bit more than the ordinary... I don't know the word, tuche, is it? |
Mabuggi88:You are still using the wrong muscle! With such a mentality, it shows that you are not ready for Presidency. No one does it alone... It's not an emotional thing, and it's no one birthright, but there are ways to go. |
Warrior99:Is there a political reason for your position, or you just want to say what you wish to see? Personally, I think he is the leader Nigeria needs, not because he has the solution to all problems, but because of his ability to inspire people to be better. As president, he will make many more Peter Obis... And I don't mean a tribe being favoured ( even if that happens as a side effect), but that many young men will aspire to be better, to work, be more productive. What Nigeria needs now is a great Leader, not just a good president! |
epainos:Thank you. There is yet hope for Nigeria. |
helinues:And? Does that make Falz a saint or Timi responsible for Nigeria's plight? The three artists you mentioned are doing what they strongly believe in. One sings to expose corruption, another sings to inspire PAITROTISM! Personally, I prefer one to the other, but they are all doing their bit, let us do ours. In my office space at work, let me do mine and at home with my kids, you do yours at work and raise your kids to be better than we are today all for their better tomorrow. Rather, we fight like kids, becker like wild birds and go back to complaining about how everything is bad when we aren't fairing better in our own little spaces. |
SmartPolician:How does that even make sense to you that you are writing this? Where do you draw the line between being partisan i.e being foolish or being Nigerian and Paitrotic? Regardless of who you voted for or want in Aso rock, it's still your flag, your country your forefathers blood in its soil. When would we all wake up to see that it's what we make of it that others will make it? |
I'm just concerned that NNPC is a lost course if headed by an unpatriotic individual. One of the first questions that ran through my mind was, if the new GCSE is that good, where has he been l this while, then I assessed to consider the political climate in the past administration and now are different, the persons and interest may defer, and what's in it for him may also be different. So, let's progress with the ideology that he is the next best thing since slice bread... So what then is the problem? A leader of that experience must have faced oppositiins over and again. Ahhh... He is from the private sector... And now the stakeholders are not all bound by the same fundamental principles... He has his work cut out for him. If he fires leaders, they turn the politics against him, turn it partisan, tribal or even spiritual. Assassnation attempts may soo follow... No wonder people aren't willing to serve or die for this nation. God bless the likes of Dr. Dora, and many great other igerians who served and are yet serving. |
It's either you are deliberately saying rubbish, or you are extremely unaware, oblivious and ignorant when it comes to politics in Nigeria. LagosPrince: |
LordIsaac:Can your father's? If your answer is yes, then he failed you as a father big time! |
This is the joke there for me. What did ADC say about all the listed MIAs since 2014 they have diligently listed here...all of a sudden, they now have a voice! These guys are jokers... Laundering political ambitions for private gain. Same set of people and ideology that got Nigeria into where she is today... Is that what we would depend on to get out of it? Until every Nigerian demands accountability at the grass roots, we remain a tool in the hand of political aspirators. It is well. helinues: |
Your simplicity is too overehelming to be ignore Bsssss: |
Northernblood8:Uncle... This your ginger wan pass our economic strength as a nation oh. Support Israel as how? Please allow us support them in our private prayers. We need every Naira to go into advancing this nation. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
MrIcredible:Tor.... It's difficult to know who is truthful and who is just deluded in this world now o. Or could it be your hate for one or the love for the other that has distorted your reality so? Sha don't go and carry weapon in protest o... Let the people fighting find their solutions themselves. This is not a war Nigeria or Nigerians need to get involved in. Let everyone go and demand for better governance in his LGA and State capital. The hour has come |
SmartPolician:Please... May be Iran is like people from your State capital, in fine if you believe that, but not us all in Nigeria! |
Extremely disappointed with the figures from Ogun State while very impressed with Oyo* State! What is Ogun State doing... Sleeping on Gold* mines Being that close to Lagos and not maximising the industrialization Same way the State lost Dangote refinery to Lagos because of petty politics and selfish interests. What a big shame!!! We need to hold our leaders accountable. If you want to get your governor to listen, hold the testicles of the house of assembly members! If you want the house to listen... Hold their counselors and local government chairman accountable! Grass root commitment must change! Counsellors don't even live within their constituents or have assets there! Why then will they care about what happens to the people in those places? When would we have sense sef? Everybody is fighting for president to come from his geopolitical zone... But forget about their empowered brother I State House of Assembly, LG Secretariat and all. You start eating bean pudding from the flat side... Abi, how else can I talk this thing? |
Kushites:Nothing between those two is unprovoked. It's less than 3 months ago now when Iran fired over 100 missiles into Israel in response to Palestine. Was that unprovoked? |
Lionessza6:I get your point sha, but I don't think SA as a Nation has done more "Pan Africanism" Or half of what Nigeria has done. So while you make your point to the fellow, may I request that you kindly retain the respect for the Nation and it's people. Let's learn to add without being toxic about it. Thanks |
tanigororo:Uncle... Learn to focus on the subject matter rather than attacking the personality. It may fly on Nairaland, but not at places where value and substance matters. |
kettykin:Pick a struggle... If "Biafra" defeated and humiliated the Army, what's then all the agitation about, of genocidal offences of the Army? |
Sonnobax15:There is nothing bitter about that! She needs to drop off leaching him... Her eyes are already elsewhere. He needs to save himself the burden and risk... Nothing bitter, he got off easy... Life intact, no scandals. |
Once a lady has sex with a guy and what she tried to use sex to derive, other than the actual sex, doesn't materialize, their is the tendency to feel cheated and used! Why do you think sex with Chijoke should equal marriage to him? Because he said it? Have you not equally broken your promise to your boyfriend after he gave you his body? You gave Chijoke your body... The one we are seeing here nko? It's whose? So as e no marry you, make e no better for am again? As per say na you dey bring rain in its season? If your idol is that's strong, when you no swear say make e better for your boyfriend all this while? Tahh!!! Except say d Guy no sabi na him u go fit tie am down with river or water or curses. dawnomike: |
adebowales:Okay nah... Aluta Continua! Make we see if e help any body? Even if I don't know history, I know something happened in October almost 2 years now before Isreal entered Gaza. I also know Iran lunched dozens of missiles into a sovereig state unprovoked a few weeks ago. Very soon too... Iran will claim victim as a nation. |
And... ? God1000: |
Mordson:Bros. It's okay to have an opinion without being abusive. There is a difference between not being a fan and being a hater. |
Not so you believe, but so it preoccupies the mind and attention of the populace. Otherwise... What has Kiyari done to merit retaining that office if not for political alignment backed by religion nepoticim!!!! As CBN Governor go, Na him dis guy suppose follow! MadamVanessa: |
Deenee34:I give up... You deserve what you get!!! |
SMH.... Nigeria will hail thee... Make I thank God say no be him be Mr. of Transpor. Na d shame for plenty pass |
slimfit1:Na why sense good for pesin head be this! |
Kukutente23:😂😂😂😂 Same way you are attacking the people the message is for rather than address the issues |

, and they book and fine a younger alagidi offender? If the answer to the above is remotely close to yes, then, why are we making all the noise about double standards, and all the self righteous near ignorance gibrish on line in the past few days?
