I'm really not understanding. While I understand her plight and really thank God for her life, posting her pix is unethical. First, is she an award that the SUG guy even had to take a picture with her. I guess the SUG guy wanted recognition at the expense of the lady's privacy. I won't be surprised if she was threatened by the SUG guy to take that pix. Why you no kukuma ask her make she comot clothe so as to make you look more like her Messiah? Arrant Nonsense.

What I've seen about life is that challenges never ends. Even when you conquer this phase, know that another challenge will arise. Consider a pregnant woman in her period of labour, she will be in excruciating pains but she has to endure in order to birth her child. So, you are in a phase of life now that shall pass and you will birth a wonderful testimony. This phase will strengthen you and give you the needed foundation to battle any future occurrence.
But consider yourself lucky to be experiencing this now in the morning period of your life. Maybe this challenge is the only main challenge you will ever face in your life.
Some people encounter their own challenge in the afternoon period of their life and some in the evening period of their life.

When I mean afternoon, let's assume everything has been rosy from the beginning: early marriage, wealth, beautiful children, etc. What if you are retrenched and everything take a downward turn, you withdraw your children from expensive private school to public school, your car develop faults and you start using motorcycle, you start dodging church because of lack of offerings and fuel, and in order to make ends meet, you start farming. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Will you kill yourself and leave your wife and children? I guess no. You will hold on and keep pushing now.

When I mean evening, what when you are retired and pension and gratuity haven't been paid plus your children have not secured gainful employment. What will you do? or what if you are faced with a terrible sickness that swallow all your retirement savings and turn you to an overnight pauper, what will you do?

Consider this things. I'm saying all this to revive you and encourage you to refire. Find happiness in the little you have.

Look for a school and be teaching. At least you will be collecting a salary of #15,000 - #40,000. Save up.

Lemme share my personal story with you. I went to a pastor to pray in regards to a great challenge I was going through. Mind you he's a great man if God in this country. When he prayed for me, his response broke my heart. He said I should continue praying and I should ask God to give me the grace to endure and fight my battles, that in the end I'll have victory.

So, just pray for grace to pass through this phase. What God will do, he'll do.

You don't say waste. It's all a trial. Some people here applied to 3 or more schools. If you are ready for your MSc, then you give it your all.

Back to your application, is it thesis based or course based?

If it's course based, you have to get a supervisor first before paying your application fee.

Next, 2:2 may get you masters if you can package your SOP well and pray too. Although, 2:2 will conveniently get you Graduate diploma.
Don't limit yourself, still apply for the masters.
But to be on a safer side, look for another school and apply for Graduate diploma.
For example: Masters in MUN
Graduate diploma in UManitoba

When I mean impatience, I mean things we can't control even scientifically.
For example, a barren woman who has being certified fertile by a doctor but still not pregnant. She has no choice than to be patient ( even IVF may not yield any success for her).

Majority of people have turned atheists because of unmet expectations.
(1) Against all hope, in the face of dwindling hope, we still have to hope.
(2) Our impatience does not make God work any faster. even if we fast and pray, some things will just not happen.

God is a God of times and seasons. We have to abide by his times and not by ours.

We are like pencil in the hand of our creature. Personally, I've had so many dissapointments that are worthy of suicidal thoughts but I've learnt to live with what I cannot change and look unto God for help and mercy.

There is a story of two friends. One said he doesn't believe in God cos he isn't real. The other said he's not sure if he's real or not but he prefers to assume he's real because it's better he makes his choice now than confirming in heaven.

Look at the story of the three Hebrews that said they wouldn't bow to Babylonian king. They said even if God doesn't save them, they still wouldn't bow. That's belief.

God looks at the heart. He's not a man that is moved by sight and pretenses of man. Look at the story of zacheus in the Bible. He was described as a sinner, he was a corrupt tax collector. He climbed a tree to look at the man (Jesus) the huge crowd was gathered unto. God had mercy on him and saved him.
So, if it's coming from a yahoo boy, bandit, God can have mercy on him, convict him of his sins and cause him to repent.

I was walking past some group of guys (yahoo guys) one day and I overheard them saying very lewd remarks about me. I wanted to go back and give them a piece of my mind but something held me back. Concerning this police report, I've discovered that the people in Lagos have higher hand than people from other states.
I did mine in Osogbo. I paid 12,000 for it. They took my fingerprints and I filled a form. I was told it will be sent to alagbon police station in Lagos. I waited for 4 days before I got the police report. Although the #40000 is outrageous, bargain for a fee if around that #12,000.

There was a time a new church was opened close to my parents house. I was around 12 years then. I climbed the railings to peep. They were having praise and worship session and I saw the most miraculous sight. Right above the church, was a ladder from heaven. On top of the ladder was a throne with a majestic figure seated and angels were ascending and descending down the stairs of the ladder.
I was in awe that day.
