Below is a press release from the Ogun state government;

Ogun State government has confirmed the partial collapse of a four-storey building at Itoku area of Abeokuta.

The building was still under construction when it caved in, Friday morning.

However, there are no casualties, while rescue mission is still ongoing.

The State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, who is presently on the site of the incident, has assured that the cause of the collapse will be investigated, while also asking the good people of Ogun State to remain calm and cooperate with the rescue team.

The Governor also said integrity test will be conducted on the other part of the building to determine its fitness.

Fellow Nairalanders, please don't be deceived by the press release of the Ogun State government, there are many casualties, I stayed in Abeokuta so am giving u confirmed report.

It always a fun time traveling with train, I don't kwn of Port Harcourt to Kano but I kwn of Lagos to Kano.
but I will advice u guys never try travelling with train from Lagos to Kano before, during and after public holidays, festive period because it always over crowded with passenger seating in toilet.
Last week Friday 15th, I traveled to Minna from Abeokuta, It was a terrible experience, a lot of lost hours occur.
