If we add Sesko and Baleba Top 4 is achievable but we still might not get it as long as we have clowns in goal.

INEOS should do one last good thing after these Sesko and Baleba deals by signing a decent GK.

Right now, i am thinking we could come 5th. The teams that finished in the Top 4 last season are also buying players to improve their squad. We can make Top 4 if everything clicks but i will wait to see how things develop over the next few months first.

Anything lower than 5th would be a major disappointment.

Strikers are overpriced these days because there are so few good ones so it is difficult.

It is not impossible but just difficult. Our scouting is not the best and our negotiation is even worse. Bad combo.

It will amount to telling yourself a lie if you look at our midfield and think we are good to go for the season. When I saw our lineup vs Everton, I hinted that we could do with a midfielder for the money we plan to spend on Sesko, that's how much I think of our midfield as the one area we need to fix...

If we get him, it had better work out. The difference between him and Rasmus is that he is not big and fast for nothing. He at least appears able to use his size and speed effectively.

The other crucial factor is that Mbeumo and Cunha will share the burden with him.

We r paying huge money for an average player now that can easily flop( l hope not) Tommoro we will start complaining of being saddle with same average players with huge wage bill.

Tell them to recommend coach, you will see them recommending pochettino, David moyes..some people are just too rigid with that 433 formation..person won play in pattern.... Behind the TV coach will be giving their own formation like say no be waiting we experience for the last 6 years without no tangible trophy... If another coach come with 433 formation they will tell him to switch to counter attack!!... No be man u fans again... Who among the players in the midfield would make it into the starting eleven for teams like Chelsea, Manchester City, or Liverpool? We all know the answer is none.

The only thing these players know how to do is play counter-attacking football. I would prefer that we just play counter attacking long balls and skip the midfield, but it seems the club doesn't want that. So let's forget about it and focus on the pressing issues.

Let's be honest, Cunha and Mbuemo made our attack more effective than the days of Rashford and his teammates. For the first time in years, I can feel some level of hope whenever the ball is moving forward, unlike before, when I was 90% certain they would make stupid runs or just pass the ball backward.

That shows you how players can change the dynamic of a team. For now, we don't have the privilege of playing every player in the position we want. The only messed-up thing is that we're going for a striker instead of a midfielder.

Coaches (since sir Alex left) have been buying their own players. LVG, MOU, ETH etc all bought their so prefer players but we are still not moving forward.l dnt like dwelling in the past.Amorim is on board now so let face him.He shud bring out the best in this team .That's y he was employed

While every fan wants the best for Manchester United,our personal biases prevents us from seeing what is before our very own eyes.
United played this tournament with fellow mid table teams like West Ham,Bournemouth and Everton and critically watching this team it is obvious that all is not well with the players in the system. Even the games that United won were struggles and it is very obvious that in the first 5-6 games when the Premier league begins this United team is going to struggle.
I am not trying to be a messenger of doom but fans need to be realistic and admit this system is like a strait jacket on most of these players. A coach who stubbornly insists he has only one way of playing football without a different plan will always be exposed brutally in this Premier league.

Ugarte's shortcomings are not a surprise to me cos i predicted them. The hope now is that Amorim is good enough as a coacch to improve the players he met and that he and the management can add quality players.

Even 10% improvement across board will do wonders. We don't need any single player to suddenly improve by 50-100%.

Ugarte’s biggest disability is his intelligence on the ball.
I don’t know what happened to him yesterday but he was all over the place in the second half.

When it comes to getting the ball from defenders and progressing it up the pitch, he falls flat on his face. His first touch is suspect and he doesn’t possess those tangible qualities like a half-turn, shoulder drop, etc, to beat his man, evade the press and get the ball forward. His passes are suspect as well.

I don’t know if it’s the pressure or what, he’s just very poor in those areas. Almost gave a goal away yesterday because of this.

That’s why we need a Baleba-mould signing pronto.

Dnt be surprise lf Baleb finally comes he will also enter into default mode under this Amorim system. lnfact can u tell me one man utd player excelling well under his formation?

Yr point sir? ETH is gone n shudnt be use as benchmark for Amorim tatics/ perfomance He was sacked for a reason.

ln civil engineering there are sometimes u overdesign a structure leading to waste of materials n energy whereas a simple design can solve same problem. Amorim is "overdesigning" this team in a stupid egoistic attempt to prove a point.

Most times they play out of position. Amad is a born attacker. Trying to change that will reduce his output. Defensive midfielders shud do their work so Bruno dnt mark much This will allow him that freedom in dictating that midfield

We definitely need a defensive midfielder but I don't think Ugarte is that bad . ls Amorim formation that putting some of these players in bad light.
