Did his wife register for antenatal? If yes, which hospital? Did they go to the hospital during thos emergency?

Most hospital normally admit and attend to their REGISTERED PREGNANT PATIENTS AND WHO ATTENDED ANTENATAL REGULARLY even during emergency.
It's very rare for a hospital to reject their registered pregnant patient during emergency except of the case is beyond what they could cope with.

Besides, I can't remember Nigeria govt has any plan for free delivery or antenatal. Most couple plan towards it, how much did he keep aside for such antenatal emergency or he was hoping everything will go uneventful.

Finally, why did he even think of going to private hospital in emergency. Most private hospital don't have facilities to manage emergency in the first place. His first thought should have been taken his wife to a govt hosp.

It's a pity a beautiful life is lost due to negligence and callousness of all parties involved.

Bro, my wife attended antenatal whenever they gave her appointment...A week before she gave birth prematurely, she still went there, she complained of how she was feeling, they said it's normal cos she's carrying twins...

Not until you experience these things, you wouldn't know how fvcked up this country is

The experience is unpalatable...That's how i lost my twins last year September, my wife gave birth prematurely at home, I wasnt even around cos I travelled so had to tell her to go to her mom's place with my son...She didn't even know it was labor prior to that day tho she was feeling uneasy, it was around 2am she delivered them, thank God she was stayed with her mom, if not how she would have done it by herself and my 3 years old boy...After the delivery, they had to rush her down to MCC but they rejected her outrightly despite how she was bleeding profusely...they were told to go to General Hospital at Akodo or Island Maternity on the island, despite outrageous charges Mother and Child at Abraham Adesanya collected for antenatal yet they couldn't attend to my wife, they had to sent them away..On getting to Island Maternity they discovered one of the twins already died while the second one was refered to Masssey Children's hospital, we stayed there for 25 days, we spent a lot, over 500k, buy these buy that, we paid for oxygen 3k a day, incubator 1,500 a day, and some other mumu expenses, different drugs, injections, blood transfusion nko...omo it was a terrible experience...still lost the other twin, but thank God my wife is hale and hearty now...Person wey hin wife born without stress or difficulty no knw wetin God do am...This country is terrible, nothing is working, just pray you don't have challenges beyond your power, if not eh, u go wail tire,
