Since 10M annually as returns is fine for him, he can split the 100M into 50M each. Put 50M in tbills at say '17%' for 36-something days and he'll get around 8M+ish. Invest the remaining 50M in money market for monthly returns. Rates are not fixed, but I believe by end of year he would have made a minimum of 10M combined from both investments. Ugmama: Hello guys
What is the best advice for this man.
He has about some pounds to invest in something like mutual fund or treasure bill.
He wants to get 10m naira every year from this investment.
What’s the safe options for him?
For example investing 100m to get 10m yearly is not bad. |

Been using them for about 2 years, and here is my observation so far; -First time onboarding took almost 2 weeks before I could start using the app/services. Response was pretty slow. - I've only had issues with funds deposit once, and it was sometime in October. Crediting my mmf account took 5 days, despite the fact that I did a transfer around 8am the said day. Had to call their CS lines severally before I could get my funds in my account. Prior to this experience, crediting my account had been seamless and same day. - I haven't tried withdrawal yet, so I can't speak to that. Nakedman: Hello Enque, Do you use First bank asset management? If yes, what rating would you give them in terms of customer service? I am about to open an account with them |

Lol Month end recon shenanigans are normal with stanbic. I also got credited double my interest, but they'll rectify and balance all accounts by tomorrow. Chrisfaco: Please i am new to MMF., can someone explain to me. I Invested 4,010,000 naira in Stanbic Money market fund on the 4th of Nov. I was getting an interest of about 1880 naira daily only for me to check the app now and realised that I was credit additional 49,000 as interest for the month. Is the 49,000 naira an error since I was getting interest daily already. I now have a total sum of 4,109,000 in my balance. |

I use norren, stanbic and fbn quest. For stanbic, I love their app. It's very customer centric. Been using them for 9 years. Their end of month recon especially for months with 31 days can be chaotic sha, but eventually ur balance will balance 🤣🤣. Redemption is swift too. Norren - I love their customer service, which is very swift. My account officer is always on standby to help me resolve my issues. Their app is pretty cool too and user friendly. Haven't used their withdrawal yet so I can't speak on this. Fbn quest - initial onboarding tooi almost 2 weeks which I found rather annoying. Asides that, I have no issues since then. Haven't tried withdrawal too, so no comments on that. Risingcash94: Good morning great investors in the house. Pls with your experiences which one of these following apps or asset managers would you recommend and why? Pls I also need responses from users not only agents. Big thanks 🙏

The bolded statement is funny sha A305: I would recommend Mutual fund with stocks. There are a few of them on cowrywise. They carry a bit of risk but stocks is where people are circulating money to now.
So when you buy Stocks mutual funds, you essentially buying something like Nigeria Index/ETF. I would recommend the Afrinvest Equity fund on cowrywise.
Be warned, it's risky, but if you have the patience and appetite for risk. Go for it.
If you are older than 40 Years, remain here with us so we keep tracking MMF rates together. Don't attempt to go invest in any risky instrument. Rates are dropping, fine and good, that money you want to go use to buy medium risk instrument, throw it into MMF and have peace of mind, access to liquidity and compound interest. |
