My web client i'm working with based in the US, insists on paying via check, says i should get a friend who stays in the US to accept the payment on my behalf, and for some reasons claims the facilities to transfer online are not available at the moment.

Is it safe and recommended?

You have to fund the wallet and then use their API on your portal. So when users buys from you, it directly connects to the API. So your API charges you while you charge your customer your own price different from what your API charges

Most of this services providers offer % cut on Every transaction for bulk purchase. MTN offers like 2-3% for some transaction volumes, while PAGA,etc offers some %for business account you must have registered with them, so you charge your customer, service provider charges you for the transaction.

I am building a payment mobile app, and i need to integrate this for airtime, data, cable tv and electric bills.

Does it need an initial capital? Like must u buy first and sell later or u buy as u sell i.e stand as intermediary between your app users and the api provider?....
