The commentators had a conversation that made me laugh yesterday. When the camera's panned on Mourinho, one of them joked, "he looks calm and doesn't seem troubled by how poor the team has looked so far", the other replied "He's cut a much calmer figure since he became the United manager but i am not buying any of it, he's just putting up an act" and the main commentator said He deserves an Oscar as he's been like this for quite some time. Therein lies the problem. He now wants to be seen as some passive manager who looks for no one's trouble. Trying to be cool and showing a calm demeanor most of the time but in our eyes that's not the Mourinho we used to know. Maybe old age is creeping up as old managers are fund of this habit as they get older as we saw with LVG but it's just not his way and these players are only a reflection of the managers passivity,as we also saw with LVG's teams.. No bite, just game after game of boring manageable football.

If he wants the team to give it's all he has to show that passion. We don't have a team of winners and superstars, just 2-4 real talented players and the rest average Joe. What should keep them going, performing, is the passion, knowing that they have to leave their all on the pitch. It's OK if the Madrid, Barca, City or other top clubs and spenders play us off the park but not these average and even below average teams when all they have got for them is the passion. Jose should know that he does not have a team of galaticos so he should be on their neck, breathing fire. Even SAF at his old age won't stomach these kind of performance. I'm sure he will be yelling his head off at players, referees, opposition coaches and players.

If we play really well against these average teams and play badly against some of the top teams, I wouldn't be so concerned. But we make huddersfield and the likes look like barca

Results is more important right now that creating a template for the next few years to some people which is understandable considering where we are coming from. But when the quality of football on display is just so pathetic every match day especially against teams with far lesser quality in every department of the team, we need to get worried. The worst part is when the team can't play as a team and the manager just sits there expressionless. WTF is he feeling like? He should get to the stand and shout sense into those players head. The team is not playing as a unit and the manager himself is in his own world.
