PoliticsBuhari Undergoes Penis Surgery by Episteme2(op): 7:06pm On Feb 18, 2017
Nine-month-old Buhari Muhammad, whose genital was cut off by his step-mother, has undergone first corrective surgery at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Bida, Niger. Mrs Mariam Kolo, the Director-General of the state Child Rights Protection Agency, made this known in an interview with newsmen in Minna on Friday.

Kolo told journalists that the surgery was part of the series of operations that the boy would undergo. “He was operated upon by four neurologists and he is responding to treatment. “Several other tests will still be conducted to prepare him for the next operation,’’ Kolo said. Newsmen recall that Muhammad’s genital was cut off by his 17-year-old step mother, Bara’atu Muhammad, when he was barely a month old. The incident occurred in Dafe community in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger in June 2016. The step-mother had confessed that she took the action because she was jealous and that she also wanted to get back at the victim’s mother, whom, she claimed was always insulting her. Muhammad was subsequently remanded in Minna prison. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, told journalists that the suspect was still in Minna Prison, pending the conclusion of investigations. “Under the Police Criminal Law, the suspect is an adult, she is above seven years; therefore, she can be convicted and hanged for the offence,” Elkana said.

Don't bother, thought so too. After two weeks without being matched for my GH i decided to try the 30% stuff meaning I went on to PH 30% of my GH, they matched me to pay without attending to my GH and when i didnt pay my account was suspended and btw the support is not responding to issues.
Same thing happened to me.

Honestly, I don't know what is wrong with those guys. Someone has a failed GH and went ahead to recommit 30% of the GH and you matched him to PH again even when the failed GH has not been matched. It is only a fool that would go ahead to pay the PH order without any guarantee that the failed GH will be paid that is even if it'll be rematched. It is a plan to get participants accounts whose GH failed blocked from the system.

PoliticsDiscontent In APC As Northern Governors Visit Nyesom Wike, Udom by Episteme2(op): 7:53pm On Jan 04, 2017
There is disquiet in the All Progressives Congress (APC) over some governors’ visits to Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel, who are of the Peoples Democratic Party. (PDP).

The APC governors, who visited their PDP counterpart, are: Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Aminu Waziri Tambuwal (Sokoto) and Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi).

The governors also jointly hosted Wike in Sokoto- an action that sent political circles guessing that a major plan was on.

A minister protested to the APC leadership in the Northwest over the trips, The Nation learnt yesterday.
Some Presidency officials are also said to be disturbed by the signal which the visits generated.

Some APC leaders were “shocked” that Tambuwal and Bagudu visited Wike before the last legislative election rerun in Rivers State, spending a day with him.
The two governors teamed up with Yari, who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), to spend Christmas in Akwa Ibom.

Wike reciprocated the visits last weekend when he went to Sokoto. The Rivers State Governor was at the Sultan’s palace where he said the Niger Delta would not be part of any move to dismember Nigeria, adding that Nigeria’s unity is not negotiable.

A source, reflecting on the development, spoke of “unease in the APC on the shuttles by Tambuwal and others to Rivers and Akwa Ibom states”.
“Some of our leaders are uncomfortable with snippets from these trips”, he said, asking not to be named.
“The timing of the first visit to Rivers State made some of our leaders to be suspicious. It was like paying a solidarity visit to Wike ahead of the Rivers State rerun elections.

“Some leaders have been suspecting that the three governors might be the arrowheads of a political realignment in the country.”

There have been talks of a new party ahead of the next general elections. The direction and planners of the “mega” party remain unknown.
The source quoted the angry minister as saying; “We heard what you people are planning.”
A party leader said: “Some of us have been angry with these governors because our members are going through hell in these states.

“There is nothing wrong in exchanging visits or comparing notes, but we saw the trips as missteps at a time we are seeking redress or justice for our members in the affected states.

“Of what use is an APC governor’s romance with a PDP governor in whose state APC members were attacked and maimed or where policemen were beheaded?”
The Department of State Services (DSS) last week gave indications that some politicians are under watch.
The politicians include those who are making “inciting” statements.

It could not be immediately ascertained if the governors in question are under watch.
But one of the governors had complained that his telephone conversations were intercepted by security agents.

Another source close to one of the governors added: “Of recent, we observed that some agents of a minister have been abusing our boss online over some of these visits.
“It is unfortunate that friendly visits are being turned into other things. Some of these governors have been friends before getting into office.”

APC National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi said: “My reaction will be that I think we should not read too much political meanings to all these trips. Governors socialise, regardless of party affiliation.
“If governors decide to visit each other and socialise, I don’t think the party has the authority to stop them. I think we should not read any meaning into it.

“But if the party has reasons to suspect gatherings are contrary to what the party stands for, the party will meet and take appropriate action. At this moment, there is no basis for that.”

Alhaji Imam Imam, Tambuwal’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, said: “There is nothing political at all with all these shuttles. The commitment of the governor of Sokoto State to APC is not in doubt at all. Tambuwal is fully committed to APC. Our commitment to the President, the leadership of the party and all APC structures is unshaken and undiluted.

“We work within the confines of APC. Nobody should link us with 2019. During political season, we will engage in politicking. But this is a period of governance; we are now focused on governance.”

Imam added: “Tambuwal believes in inter-state trade. So long as states cooperate among themselves, the potential for the nation’s economic growth is large. When we visited Rivers, we had discussion on youth empowerment and sports; when we visited Aba, Abia State, the governor sold the idea of marketing Sokoto leather to them. When we went to Kano for inspection of projects, we interacted with some businessmen and one of them is now establishing a fertiliser plant in Sokoto.”

It would have been better for Pa Buhari if he ended up a 4th time Presidential Aspirant or Candidate only. History would have been fair to him and he would be enjoying his sentimental fame in his region, deceptive assertions and sheepish followership from his fans.

Now the world knows there is an unteachable Stone age president in a fast paced 21st century nation.

You're so on point. The man is so real. He doesn't talk to impress. He talks to hit the target. He doesnt unnecessarily appeal to emotion and wear fake smiles. Hillary keeps talking pretentiously with fake smiles typical of Nigerian politicians that say one thing during campaign and do another.

Same way u would have opened your mouth to say that General Buhari would have taken us to the promise land had Buhari lost to GEJ. But now, u are so sure it would have been worse if GEJ had been reelected.

At this point, you should at least keep quiet if u cannot be courageous enough to apologize to Nigerians for the bitter role u and your hangers-on played in bringing this calamitous government.
Stop this conceited assertiveness.

PoliticsHow Else Can We Change And To What Extent? by Episteme2(op): 12:21pm On Sep 09, 2016
HOW ELSE CAN WE CHANGE AND TO WHAT EXTENT?
Just as IBB tweeted, the ‘’Changebeginswithme’’ is a great initiative but should start with FG and the NASS. Any ardent follower of the Nigerian politics would notice that ever since APC led FG came to power, they have been shifting the goalpost and playing blame game any time Nigerians try to hold them responsible for the mess we are into now. It has now degenerated to what is now tagged Changebeginswithme, just to absolve themselves of their crass incompetence in power. No doubt, change begins with Nigerians and they showed it when almost sixteen(16) million Nigerians voted the present government into power.
It was George Bernard Shaw who said that progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything. The question here is, has PMB’s mind changed? He is still viewing Nigeria the same way he viewed it as a Military Head of State. His actions and inactions so far have lent credence to this assertion. He can never change anything until he changes his mind. It is not only enough to claim that you have good intention but also to show it through your actions. It is very hard to see how PMB’s inflexibility, lack of vision and reactive approach will achieve anything good for Nigeria. Again, must we see things the way APC’s hangers-on do before they will agree that the masses have really changed. Due to your policies that exacerbated the condition of things, we have curbed our profligacy in spending. Ever since they came to power, we are now more economical and prudent with our scarce resources and dwindling little income. How else do they want us to change? We have not taken to the street despite the economic hardship, is that not a positive change from us Nigerians? Fastforward to one and half years, you have not delivered even 5% of your campaign promises nor shown any sign that things will get better, we still hold our patience. Even the barefaced denial of your campaign promises that ‘zombified’ us, we still chant Sai Baba! Is this not enough change? So many companies have folded and thousands of jobs lost, zombies still have confidence in your government. Have we not really changed? Even amidst skyrocketing dollar exchange rate to naira, economic recession, official terrorism, inconclusive elections and unprofessionalism of our security agents, have you seen us protest or call for your resignation? Since our salaries are cut, inflation rose to 2 digits and the pump prices of petroleum products increased, did you hear that crime rate increased? Are we not elastic enough? We keep adjusting and readjusting to the ever worsening situation. The worst we can do is just wail wail and wail. We have remained law abiding even more especially when we see your despotic body language. Mr President, we have since changed and still ready to keep changing and it remains for you to change too.
They say change is not just about economic progress which is what well meaning Nigerians yearn for and I ask, can you discuss the results of positive change- employment, improved standard of living, foreign exchange, basic infrastructural amenities, education, affordable pump petroleum product prices, inclusive and responsive government, good fiscal policies and so on without reference to the state of the economy. What are we pontificating about the so called change if it is not aimed at achieving the aforementioned?

WHO SHOULD CHANGE TOO?
The person whose policy is making the foreign investors to flee en masse should change.
The person whose unguarded utterances and undiplomatic actions, which renewed militancy in the Niger Delta should change.
The person whose leadership style is generating ethnic tensions posing threats to Nigerian’s stability and future should change.
The person whose only anti corruption drive focuses on senior members of the opposition while members of his cabinet accused of large scale corruption walk free should change.
The person who has demonstrated administrative inflexibility, lack of vision, reactive approach to issues should change.
Please Mr. President, if the economy cannot grow in reality, let it grow on paper. At least in the last administration, your party said that the economy was only growing on paper but we fared well.
Since we cannot change reality, let us change the eyes which see reality.
