Denying Ndigbo Biafra is like suffocating them. They'll sure fight for the air to breath. No true Igboman can be happy with what is happening at home. You don't expect them to be friends with the children and kinsmen of those who enslave their own at home. |
They ain't seen anything yet. It's human beings you're governing in a democratic setting, not animals. How could they say IPOB, a legitimate separatist organization without having any of her members convicted or even standing trial for violent acts, is a terrorist organization? Common sense is unusual in Buhari's government and desperation to nail IPOB has killed them all. |
Tell Buhari to hand over power to Osinbajo. There's no trace of leadership traits in Buhari. He has subjected Nigerians to all manners of suffering and regional balkanization. |
It's always about them. They dictate the pace at which Nigeria moves. You know you enjoy special privileges and advantages, the sensible thing to do is to ensure that other regions enjoy at least their constitutional advantages so that there won't be any much need for agitation for separation or restructuring. You enjoy all your own plus extra and you tell other regions to come and go and die. |
Oluwabusobomi:Jumping around or not. Ideology or no ideology, corrupt or no corrupt, if Nigeria still remains one till 2019 election, Atiku is a better option of most candidates APC and PDP are likely to field. Nigeria does not need a saint to deliver dividends of democracy to her people. We only need someone who has a track record of achievements and pragmatism. Where has saint Buhari led us to? Atiku amongst other things is investment-driven, pragmatic, detribalised, well informed and resourceful. Look what he has achieved for himself. Atiku has not been convicted of any corruption case and he has used his wealth, whether stolen or not to create jobs in Nigeria and add to the economy. Not someone who can not even rear common cows and increase their number despite having held several positions in Nigeria. You don't necessarily need to loot before you can establish a tangible thing in life. Buhari has not added anything to his CV ever since he was ousted in 1985. Worst of all, he is an irredeemable ethno-religious bigot and unstatesmanly. |
redsun:Pls stop patronising us with insults. IPOB were never violent. They have never been violent and they don't have any court case bordering on violent activities or terrorism. |
Buhari is not a good person. He is not a gentleman though he needs not necessarily be for him to deliver, and he is not honest at work because a bigot can never be honest in any system he is working be it a good or a bad system. He doesn't need to manoeuvre any thing, body, process, or system before he can deliver. What did he achieve the first time he had all the instruments and apparatus of control and manoeuvre? Our angry ancestors sent Buhari to come and punish Nigeria. Buhari is everything unpresidential and unstatesmanly in a diverse nation like ours. Even if he has all the powers in the country - executive, legislative and judiciary, he can't achieve anything good. He can only use it to achieve his sinister ethno-religious agenda. |
The atrocious deed has been done already and the world has taken note. Please, the viral video is not propaganda. Your people were even so much excited that as the python was dancing, IPOB members were made to swim in a pond of mud and even forced to drink the dirty muddy water. Others were shot and bled to death while a great number of our elderly parents have yet to recover from the shock and High BP the lethal operation caused them. At this point, it's of no need anybody speaking for IPOB again or condemning the barbaric act now. It's rather belated. You don't choose to go to sleep when your voice is needed and decide to wake up to talk when the congregation has been dismissed. |
They send this man? He is a rejected man in Igboland. He denigrates his people, spews out garbage everyday and talks like a demented buffon. |
Self deceit. That's what APC is known for. Always feigning ignorance of any ugly situation in every thing that concerns them and their followers. |
I'm convinced deep down that Nigeria will know no peace nor move forward until the blood of the innocent, harmless and unarmed Biafrans shed on the streets of Nigeria are avenged or they are allowed to go live in their own country they yearn for enthusiastically. |
Buhari fits into any denotative and connotative definition of terrorist. Argue with history and recent events. |
It's not because of or about IPOB. The North and SW have shown through their body language and hatred that an Igbo man will never be President in Nigeria. They are afraid of Igbo presidency because of the ugly pasts. |
Anything goes in Nigeria. Due process is alien to us. Nigeria is a place where things are turned upside down. Fulani herdsmen are mere small peaceful criminals while while IPOB is a terrorist organization who whose members kill people in their farms, remote roads; invade villages and rape their women. |
How about this one? If he talks like a dictator, He acts like a tyrant, He behaves like a despot, He lives like fascist, Then, he is an irredeemably confirmed dictator. |
Wow |
Someone whose speech is at war with his actions and antics. Anyways, I don't blame him. The other time he said he was a born again democrat. A new convert can backslide and he's usually worse off after backsliding. That's President Buhari's case. A self-acclaimed born again democrat who almost immediately backslid. |
Oppression |
Lauretta, don't throw away tomorrow. You're an unrivalled female propagandist. Is it because of money that you're dancing shamelessly? |
I'm afraid this one-Nigeria mantra can only falsely stand with the continued show of force. The memories and scars of these recent atrocities can never be forgotten and healed. There can never be sincerity in our "united" existence. The wickedness and hatred is just alarmingly intense. We can never be better together and these ongoing viciousness and brutal atrocities would continue to reoccur at intervals of time until the day IPOB see their Biafra. Peace without truth is poison, so goes a German proverb. |

VERDA:The bolded is what we are asking for. Deal with anyone deemed or alleged to have broken the laws of the land within the armbits of the law. Good a thing, the case is in court already. Organize your witnesses, evidences and facts, present your case to the law court and pray for his conviction. |
Yyeske:Soliciting for arms or carrying arms, which should we be talking about? Don't forget, he is still in court with FG. So, why the show of force? Or have you found out you can't successfully and justly win him in court.? |
MalcoImX:The laws and the constitution of the land are made for both the citizenry and the government, none has the prerogatives to break them. If you have a case against Nnamdi Kanu or feel he has breached the law, you can only drag him to court and prove your case so that he can be convicted for whatever crime you're charging him for. Second, it's an act of terrorism on its own for FG to send Army to a peaceful civilian environment without any unmistakable proof of breakdown of public order and security or insurrection. In a nutshell, the Nigerian Army has no business in a peaceful civilian environment more especially when the Nigerian Police is there. |

Apt one.The Biafran ideology is a regenerative one. You can never kill it by oppressing, repressing and killing the subscribers. A government that always constitutes terror and opposition to itself showcases unschooled leadership. Where has using military might to suppress genuine agitations worked? It's just a matter of time when this dance of shame will tell on Nigeria. For those gleefully enjoying this moment of wickedness and illegalities just because it's directed at IPOB, it is a dangerous pleasure that will turn sour one day and hunt you. He who pelts another with pebbles asks for rock in return. |
Do we really need this in the South East? What happens to the BokoHaram and Fulani Herdsmen ravaged/threatened cities? “The distrust of wit is the beginning of tyranny.” ― Edward Abbey |
Alcatraz007:I don't know where to start but all I can say is that your disjointed narrative lacks sense. Who are the war mongers? The NA or IPOB agitating for self determination through referendum? Have u heard or seen Nnamdi Kanu call for war? Have you seen IPOB carry arms? What is Nigerian Army doing at Nnamdi Kanu's compound? |
Good one. |
Just because she's supporting Atiku. Any time someone openly shows disaffection to this government, that's the only time they'll open your file. Reason why some people don't support their corruption fight. Why wait till you have beef with someone before you start probing them? |
