The best phone brand in China right now is Xaomi, there are other brands though search online on gsmarena, online retailers etc. If you prefare performance over beauty and photo quality then look for phones with Snapdragon processor and chipsets, 2gb or more memory and good quality GPU.

Research, use what you like in a phone to determine which one you'll buy.
