illicit:
But how can anybody tell you when, where, how and why bandits and kidnappers will operate

Do they have a WhatsApp group ni

You are just a daft pessimist

Why do you think people won't know if a particular road they have traveled by recently is safe for now or not?
There could have been a reduction at the pace at which it happens...people should be able to tell that...especially, whey they live around the States leading to Kebbi or have recently used the road.
People can also deduce from the frequency of news of attacks coming from the area...wether its high or it has abated compared to the previous.

You don't have to have a whatsapp group to know all of these.

RENO OMOKRI WRITES: There Would Have Been A Second Civil War If Peter Obi Had Won Yesterday.

If Peter Obi had won the #NigerianElections2023 , or at the Presidential Election Petition Court, there would have been a civil war in Nigeria. Not many. Would. Why? Because he and his Obidients were just too arrogant and were already recreating, and would have further recreated the events that led up to the Nigerian Civil War. Let me explain:

During the elections, there was nothing they did not do, including cyberbullying, threatening, abusing, insulting, name-calling, accusing, hounding, targeting, ganging up, mocking, caricaturing, and harassing anyone who refused to support them. I did not say anyone who was fighting them. No. Anyone who refused to support them. They made minimal attempts to be persuasive. It was just nogbu nzogbu, enyimba enyi!

They had a warped sense of entitlement that you must support Peter Obi, and if you did not, then you are supporting a "wrong candidate" (the exact words they used).

They were more fascistic than Mussolini. In terms of education, Peter Obi is at the bottom of the barrel, with his second-class degree in Philosophy. You can’t compare him to a Ph.D. in Water Engineering (Kwankwaso), a Master's with Distinction in International Relations (Atiku), and a BSc in Accounting (Tinubu). Joseph, have the fear of God and answer this question: Am I lying?

In terms of achievements in office, as vice President, Waziri Atiku led the National Economic Council, which paid off our entire foreign debt to the Bretton Woods institution and gave us a 7% GDP consistent annual growth rate. As Governor, Tinuhu built new cities from scratch, ports, rail infrastructure, roads, hospitals l, industries, independent power stations, paid civil servants, and mentored men like Osinbajo, Fashola, Aregbesola, Fayemi, Akabueze, and co, who are now movers and shakers. He also increased Lagos's internally generated revenue by 360%.

In contrast, when asked about his flagship achievement in office, Peter Obi pointed to a brewery, which has been proven to be a loss-making enterprise. Although he invested in schools already built, for which I applaud him, he did not build a single new school.

But he was the right candidate, and anyone who did not support him must be pilloried.

What led to the Nigerian Civil War? It began with the January 15, 1966 coup at which Majors Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Chukwuma Nzeogwu, Chris Anuforo, and Don Okafor killed political and military leaders from every region of Nigeria except theirs.

Major Adewale Ademoyeg was involved with the plotting but not the killing, unlike the others who participated in the massacre.

In 2023, after Peter Obi lost, prominent Obidients with direct ties to Peter Obi were openly calling for a military coup to restore Obi's mandate. These guys have learned nothing!

And that was only one reason for the civil war. The other reason was the arrogance and caricaturing of other Nigerians by supporters of Majors Nzeogwu and Ifeajuna (the coup leaders) after the coup.

Soon after the coup, some of their supporters printed almanacs with caricatures insulting prominent Northern, Western and Mid-Western leaders.

In one of the almanacs, Chukwuma Nzeogwu was shown with his leg on top of Sir Ahmadu Bello's head. Interestingly, in that almanac, Ahmadu Bello's head was put on the body of a goat.

Those almanacs outraged Northerners and made them turn against the Aguiyi Ironsi-led government.

In February of 1966, a famous Igbo highlife maestro named Celestine Ukwu released a song titled Ewu Ne Ba Akwa, meaning ‘the goat is crying’.

Rightly or wrongly, other Nigerians believed that that song was mocking the killing of the late Sardauna by Nzeogwu. That song and the almanac mocking the Sardauna ignited a p0grom against Igbos in the North. And things eventually descended to civil war.

Is that not what happened in 2023? Were Obidients not caricaturing those who refused to support Peter Obi? I personally was caricatured. Waziri Atiku, Bola Tinubu, and their supporters were also caricatured. New Celestine Ukwu songs of 2023 were composed to insult those who supported other candidates instead of their right candidate.

And just as their leaders did not caution them in 1966, so did Peter Obi not caution them in 2022/23. There was no low or dirty thing they did not do, including publishing the photos of Justice Tsamani's children along with threats to kill them (as they did with my then one-year-old daughter) and recruiting
Rufai Oseni to lie against me and others.

And then there was the Yes Daddy leaked audio, which revealed their true intention for the Muslim Ummah.

History does not repeat itself. Irresponsible people repeat history and then blame history for repeating itself. Peter Obi is one of such people, and I urge Nigerians to remember what he and his supporters stand for. Never forget. Keep that memory fresh. Because Peter and his horde will think we have forgotten and will try to hoodwink us in 2027. We must not fall for it.

*NIGERIAN IBADAN MAN,.. HASSAN ADEYEMO SHOT WIFE DEAD IN FLORIDA USA*

*WHY I KILLED THE B*TCH:*

*PART 1:*

*In 1998, a 21 year old Nigerian soldier named Hassan Adeyemo from Ibadan met and fell in love with an 18 year-old beautiful Hausa girl from Bauchi called Sarah. It was love at first sight.*

*They got married in 1999 and God blessed them with a beautiful daughter in 2000. After her, they had two other daughters and one boy, making 4 kids. Hassan loved his wife so much and told her not to work because of stress. He was providing everything she ever wanted for her and the kids…*

*PART 2:*

*In 2014, Hassan wanted a better life for his family, so with his wife’s agreement, he decided to send them to the U.S. Sarah and the kids entered the United States in 2014.*

*Before they got there, Hassan already arranged a rented house and a car for them. Sarah wasn’t working, Hassan was sending big money to them for upkeep from Nigeria every month. Despite the distance, Hassan bonded with his wife and kids. Everyone was happy.*

*In 2017, Hassan, who had missed his family so much, decided to relocate to America and stay with them.*

*PART 3:*

*Before Hassan got to America, Sarah had started hair braiding just to keep herself busy when the kids were in school. Everyone loved her and the way she braided beautiful styles. Gradually, she became a household name in Orlando, Florida. Ladies flooded her to do their hair.*

*The unfortunate victims of the tragedy*
*What she was doing for fun became something big overnight. Hassan entered the US, and things were going smoothly. Hassan who was a big man in Nigeria, left everything and came to America to start all over with menial jobs. He had no papers yet, so he was doing jobs that paid him peanuts.*

*PART 4:*

*God blessed them with a baby boy in 2018, making their children a total of 5. Sarah was making at least 1,000 a day with the help of her daughters who she had trained. She was very fast and efficient in braiding. With this income, she was able to support the family with all expenses because Hassan’s income couldn’t meet up with the expenses/bills.*

*Hassan got his papers and started Uber and delivery jobs. He worked from day to night and started contributing his quota to the family, but his contributions was like change to his wife Sarah, was making. In effect, Sarah became the breadwinner of the house.*

*PART 5:*

*Issues started because Sarah was always complaining that Hassan couldn’t afford her lifestyle. She became the children’s favorite because she gave them everything they asked for, while their dad could not meet up. Sarah entered the house whenever she wished. She became the boss, always calling Hassan lazy and useless, while Hassan always appealed to her for peace to reign.*

*Hassan, a gentleman didn’t like trouble in any form. Sarah and the children formed their own group in the house, and abandoned their dad to always sort himself out. Sarah stopped cooking for him.*

*PART 6:*

*Hassan became depressed and was always begging friends and family members to help talk to his wife. Hassan was always crying like a baby, saying Sarah made him feel less of a man in the house. His friends encouraged him to persevere and ignore whatever she did.*

*In January 2022, Sarah announced to Hassan that she had bought a house. They moved into the new house, and she continued to treat him very badly. She disrespected him so much, “Leave my house if you cannot obey me, you irresponsible man,” she would often say.*

*PART 7:*

*She locked him out in the cold so many times and threw his things out. The children were on their mother’s side because she was the provider. Hassan became very depressed, and started having suicidal thoughts. He told his friends how life is unfair, and that he would kill himself. They advised him to leave the marriage because it was obvious that his wife was no longer in love with him, but he kept on asking, “Where will I start from? I love my wife. A woman I have invested all my life in. The only woman I ever loved. What did I do to deserve this from her?”*

*PART 8:*

*April 2023, Sarah told him she had bought another house that this particular house is specifically for her and her customers. She told Hassan to hold onto the boys while the girls followed her to the new house. Hassan was like, ” Why do you want to separate the family?” She said, “If everyone followed her to the new house, it will disturb my customers. She then told the husband that he could bring the boys over for weekends, but he can’t come with them, “because I need my privacy.” People tried to talk to Sarah, but she wouldn’t listen. Hassan agreed, hoping that his wife will change her mind.*

*PART 9:*

*On August 21, 2023, Sarah informed Hassan that she would like for her sons to move in with her, while Hassan remains in the old house. She instructed Hassan to move all of her remaining property, and that of the children from the old house where Hassan was staying to the new one, where she lives.*

*She then told Hassan that whenever he wished to see the children, he should let her know, so she can arrange for the visits. So, Hassan told her he would do as she had instructed, and take the remaining property of hers to the house on Friday night, which he did. Sarah didn’t let him enter the house. She took all the belongings he brought and the boys and left Hassan outside. Hassan remained at the door for almost an hour knocking, Sarah refused to open the door for him.*

*PART 10:*

*The following day, August 26, was Hassan’s 46th birthday. Early that morning, Sarah sent him a message, “Happy Birthday friend, we are better off as friends than lovers.” “You need to look for where you’ll be staying, because I have to get rid of the old house. I wish you well in life, I have moved on.” A few hours later, the children called their dad to get some groceries, and he told them he would bring them in the evening. At about 6:30 PM, he called the kids, that he was on his way to the house with the groceries. When he got there, he knocked, and the children opened the door for him.*

*FINAL PART:*
*Hassan then asked for their mom, they told him he was in the shower. He entered, and went to the bathroom, brought out a gun, and shot her in the head, in the chest, and in the leg. He then called 911, “Hello, I just killed the bitch.” This is the address, I am waiting for you.” He sat down on the floor beside Sarah’s body.*

*The cops came, and the first responders rushed Sarah to the hospital, she was still breathing. She died two hours after she got to the hospital. Mr. Adeyemo is now at the Orange County Jail in Florida. He is most likely facing a death sentence or life in prison without parole.*

With time:

True events are told in stories.
Stories become legends
Legends become myths
Myths are told in folktales.

What really happens is the passage of a lot of time, and passing on the story from one generation to another.

A substantial percentage of us are not this educated to know how words evolve. People read the meanings of words at face value. It's important at times to use clearer words to convey our true meanings and intentions to avoid misrepresentations that may arise from such.

Culture / Re: Time Travel - The Yoruba Science Folktale by EquitableTech: 12:25pm On Aug 13, 2023
WeirdAlien:
Time travel is a phenomena suggested in different ways.
One is to travel to another timeline in the universe. E.g. go back to a past timeline, or go forward into the future. (e.g. Terminator Movie).
Another form is time dilation through space travel. For instance, it is theorized (Einstein) that if you travel at the speed of light for a few minutes, or through a wormhole, hundreds of years might have passed on earth! (e.g. Planet of Apes movie).

Let's get into our story.
At a time on earth, there was a great famine that shook the whole world. Rain ceased for several years. A congress was held, divination was made by the Ifa priest. A sacrifice must be made to Eledumare, the supreme being. But after being prepared, this sacrifice must be taken to heaven by someone.
And that's the problem. It wasn't known if anybody who went to heaven could return back to this world, so nobody wants to carry the sacrifice. Just before all hope was lost, the Vulture volunteered himself. Although he hoped to return, if he didn't, he would have sacrificed himself too.
So the vulture took the sacrifice to heaven - it took him 7 days to get to heaven and present the sacrifice, and another 7 days to travel back. All of the journey was in-between heaven/earth, in the void.
The day he got back to earth, it was raining heavily and he was seriously beaten by rain.
To his dismay, many things have changed, he could not locate his own house. He knocked on several doors, but everyone kept slapping him him on the head and pushing him out back into the rain - no one recognized him, they were disgusted seeing him, he was short, his feathers soaked, dripping wet.

He eventually found himself at the palace. The King and Ifa priest were different people! When he explained himself, they realized he belonged to many generations ahead of that time. His journey of 14 days total was 1,400 years on earth! Apparently, every 1 day of his journey was 100 years on earth!
His legend had been passed generations down, the one who took sacrifice to heaven and never returned. It started raining normally on earth since the day he started his journey into the void. Eledumare answered their prayers the day the vulture departed the earth, and it particularly rained heavily on the anniversary of that day of every year.

Because of this sacrifice, the vulture is considered an untouchable bird in Yoruba culture. You don't kill the vulture. You don't eat the vulture. You don't do appeasement with the vulture. You don't sacrifice the vulture.

The existence of this folktale suggests Africans were not all about religion, but had indigenous science in the past.

What you just shared is NOT a folktale as ur title suggests

This story is a true life story and it tells you that time travel is a sicience not alien to the Yorubas before the incursion of the whites.

Yoruba tradions and culture has deep science embedded in it. It's just a pity that the white has used religion to distort our heritage as a people.

Please it's not a folktale...a foltale is more like a superstition...This story is far away from supperstition. It's real and has deep scientifical meanings.

God bless our culture
Yoruba culture is really strong

All the slaves calling this evil

I blame your inferiority complex and I marvel at your depth of ignorance of Yoruba culture.

Do you wonder why ifa is practiced outside the continent ?
What happened was that there was a disconnect due to colonization and slavery. Yorubas and other Africans were very great before losing our heritage.
Do you know of the Benin empire and oyo empire.

Our ancestors were very knowledgeable and if only the knowledge was passed down, we would have been 100% independent. Do you know the movie black panther, that is exactly how Yorubas and other Africans are supposed to be technologically advanced and prosperous.

The evidences are there for you for to see. Look at our ancient artifacts and you will wonder what kind of technology they used.

Our ancestors made tools with iron and steel. How did they know that engineering?
How did they make those artifacts to perfect precision

Do you know the odu ifa are 256 in number and it is same with the 256 binary codes. How did our ancestors know binary codes long before the whites came

You know why you are dumb and very unintelligent. You have low self esteem and very foolish. You waited for the whites to write your history for you, people that enslaved you. Please who are the satanist, those that came here to enslave you and threw your ancestors inside Atlantic Ocean or you that was attacked?

Thanks for educating the ignorant ones

At the bold

Apart from the fact that the Odu Ifa is the same as the binary codes, just like the binary codes, each Odu Ifa is in 1s and zeros....which forms the basis of all Technology ever invented by man.

It's complete lack of understanding of Odu Ifa to ascribe it tot the devil. I cringe at the thought of people who thinks that way about Odu Ifa.

The Odu Ifa is the beginning and the end of everything that existed, exist and will exixt in this Universe.
You only need to devote time to study it and you will be amazed at what you'll find out.

Yet, you are here saying 'Nigeria is finished', 'Nigeria is useless' because of an increase of tuition fees from ₦19,000 to ₦190,250 at one university?

Ghanaians are paying twenty five times what we pay in tuition. Do Ghanaians earn twenty five times what Nigerians earn in minimum wage? Is fuel cheaper in Ghana than in Nigeria? I was in Ghana two months ago. Believe me when I say that you would fare better economically in Nigeria than in Ghana. Is Nigeria as wealthy as the UK, US, and the EU? Nigeria is not such a bad country. If you think the cost of education is too high, then try the cost of illiteracy
