The Role
The successful candidates will undergo a 2-3 year training program in various Geoscience skill areas. The training will be on the job committed with formal training and will prepare the individuals for assignments in any designated aspect of the petroleum exploration and production anywhere in Nigeria.
Requirements of Candidate
1. Ph.D or Masters degree in Geoscience (Geology/Geophysics). Candidates expecting to obtain a Ph.D or Master’s degree by October 2013 may also apply.
2. Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second class upper in Geoscience (Geology/Geophysics) or Physics.
3. Possess NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Other Requirements

ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role you must be a finance/accounting graduate from a good university and hold a professional qualification such as CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA/ICWA or MBA (Finance). You will have a minimum of 10 years airline experience with 2 years in a similar capacity. You will possess user level experience in any ERP, good working experience on spreadsheets and strong experience in expenditure or revenue accounting. You will have strong knowledge of financial accounts, contracts and local laws and regulations like VAT, tax, payroll etc. Additionally the ability to deliver on tight time bound reporting is essential. You will demonstrate strong analytical skills and sound judgement as well as excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of HND/ BSC Degree in Accounting and ACA/ACCA

Experience with accounting standards/practices of international organization a strong plus.
Demonstrated experience with automated accounting systems and good knowledge of internal control systems and financial audit processes.
Strong Knowledge of the OMB Circulars i.e. OMB 110, OMB 122 and OMB 133.
Must have strong Microsoft Excel Skills and a working knowledge ofNavision package.
Managed accounting procedures for multiple donor or project accounts.
