Pls my own family I have come again with my ticket wahala. Pls help me put this two airline in a scale of preference (turkish and ArikAirline). Considering the waiting time, the flight duration, adding infant ticket and comfort for preggy woman and also comfort for baby on the return leg. The agent said if I go with Arik she will refund us some money. Pls I need to make a decision cos hubby has given me within now and tomorrow to decide. Pls help me.

I will advice u go with Turkish, flew dem 4 days ago n it was cool...had enof leg room for the Istanbul-houston flight n got 'jumping of line' n special treatment all thru frm lag.

for d transit tho,at the airport jst look out for d mosque area ,there r enof seats to lay dwn on n sleep...al u hv to do is set alarm to wake u up n take a wrapper or smtin to cover urslf wit.

Reporting live from Houston, got in yesterday via Turkish Airlines, flight was long but good.
arrived Houston airprt around 8 pm,it was so deserted.our flight was the only one that landed at the time. easy walk to immigration no queue at all. an old bald not friendly looking man attended to me.

me-good evening n gave him my passport
cbp-didnt answer,asked where I'm from instead
me-nigeria
cbp- why r u here
me- to have my baby
cbp- ohh u travelled all d way to come have your baby,why
me- I lost my first n didn't want to take chances wit dis one
cbp- where did u lose d baby

cbp- so why didn't u go to europe,its closer to Africa instead of comin all the way down here
me- well I could have but America's health service is still d best of dem all so I decided to come here ( I was shinning my teeth while talking)

I didn't shake knowing I stated my reason at d embassy so he Cldnt threaten me,all nah shakara.

my lovely husband went for his visa interview today in lagos. it was a last minute decision we made dat he shld apply n Glory be to God it was successful. I submitted his application online last week thursdy n miraculously on Friday,a slot for monday(today) was opened in place of d Nov 22 date we saw initially..

yay ..finally I have my story to tell on this thread..started following this thread right from when it was only part 1 n I wasn't even engaged not to talk of being pregnant then bt I had bin munching all d munchable pages,keeping them with faith.. got married to d Glory of God last year October, got pregnant in January then my real research started n my notebook was officially opened bt d devil showed himslf n I lost d baby in march..didnt give up n kept takin notes n munching...God shamed d devil n I took in a month after in April.. this thread was my daily bread website, reading,writing and learning...

got all my docs together, fully prepared n went for my (with big belly) interview in abuja with my mum inlaw.


so in d spirit of GIVING BACK , here is my transcript ;
