U can't be so sure assad is winning d war...we have close to 7 factions in syria fighting d war...and all are enemies to d syrian govt.

We have the free syrian rebels, daesh (isis), the kurds fighting isis still in syria, al qaeda, al nusra and recently the united states sent atleast 900 special forces plus some pockets of british special forces into syria.

So this war is far from over, and from d look of things there can be no winners.

Well, the proof is very clear. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has stated in 2013 that all of Syria's chemical weapons were received and destroyed.

So why should a country that has accepted destruction of it's chemical arsenal later decide to create new chemical weapons if it could've easily rejected the Russian-brokered proposal to destroy said chemical weapons arsenal?

There's no proof Assad used chemical weapons.

The OPCW last inspected the syrian arsenal in 2013. Inspections of such nature in a war torn country should be annually. The syrians have rejected calls for new chemical weapons inspection ever since d russians and iranians set foot on their soil.

Syrian Government Response: It was as a result of An airstrake against terrorist weapon facility(That is to store Sarin).

Rebel/Terrorist Response: The syrian airforce drop it Chemical weapon on us.

UN Response: We are investigating the matter.

For every action there's a reaction... there's no proof that the target was a rebel store house used to store sarin. If it were so then the syrians should have gone to the UN with proof.

Besides nerve agents are not chemicals u just put together using a bunsen burner and tubes, u need a laboratory with standard materials and procedures.

Mind u most of these materials used in the preparation of chemical agents are banned. So tell me how possible it is for rebel units to process such WMDs.

The syrians should recognise that Obama is nomore in power, Trump is not someone with a calculative mindset, he works instinctively.

Assad never launched chemical attack in Syria. He launched an attack on location where chemical weapons were stockpiled by the terrorists. But MSM changed it into what you just read so attacking Syria all over again will be justified.

(CNN)The United States launched a military strike Thursday on a Syrian government target in retaliation for their chemical weapons attack on civilians earlier in the week.

On President Donald Trump's orders, US warships launched between 50-60 Tomahawk cruise missiles at a Syrian government airbase where the warplanes that carried out the chemical attacks were based, US officials said.

"Tonight, I ordered a targeted military strike on the air field in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched," Trump said during short remarks to reporters at Mar-a-Lago. "It is in this vital national security of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons."

He added: "There can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violated its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and ignored the urging of the UN Security Council. Years of previous attempts at changing Assad's behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically."

A US defense official said the strike was targeted on runway, aircraft and fuel points. The missiles were launched from warships in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Strikes are over "until another decision is made," the official said.

The strikes are the first direct military action the US has taken against the leadership of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the country's six-year civil war and represent a substantial escalation of the US' military campaign in the region, which could be interpreted by the Syrian government as an act of war.

Trump's decision to launch the strikes, the most significant military action of his young presidency, came nearly four years after the US first concluded that Syrian forces had used chemical weapons in Syria. The Obama administration concluded that Syria had violated the "red line" Obama had set a year earlier in discussing the use of chemical weapons, but ultimately decided against military action against Syria in favor of a Russian-brokered deal to extricate the country's chemical weapons stockpile.

Trump at the time said the US should "stay the hell out of Syria" and urged Obama on Twitter to "not attack Syria" in the wake of the 2013 chemical attack.

"There is no upside and tremendous downside. Save your 'powder' for another (and more important) day," he tweeted in September 2013.
Trump repeatedly criticized Obama during his presidential campaign for not acting on his "red line" threat, but the real estate mogul also argued against deepening the US' military involvement in Syria, particularly as it related to Assad.

I don't know where u get ur information mostly or how knowledgeable u are about this arguement we're engaged in but i do have a medic and a law enforcement agent as co-tenants and we are close enuff for me to get to know about most of these things. Not every rape crime or molestation that happens daily is captured in d news. U can try to do a little bit of research on this. Maybe you'll get more enlightenment.
