There hasn't been any better time to divide this country than now.
The country is control from the top. Power is from the top. If you need anything in Nigeria, it has to come from the top if not, it will be dead on arrival. So the question u will ask yourself now is that, will those at the top want the country to divide? Hell No. They are enjoying the national cake and division will make some of them lose the national cake

Stop saying nonsense.

They should have ordered the bike and have it delivered in France. It's just 10 hours drive.
Na only you don make real sense here but they will still come and tackle you on this one. The money will never come out bcs it had been looted. What's their business with a bike competition that they believe u will not even win. That's been their routine ever since and they never hold anybody responsible bcs it is the normal thing to them in the system

phantom:
🤦🏾‍♂️ 🤦🏾‍♂️.. I don't understand how this watery attempt at an explanation makes sense to some people.

Reasonable folks are asking how the federation is claiming long delivery times for an olympic bicycle that is not a "custom built luxury vehicle" that needs Preordering.

Additionally, why can't a government sports federation ask for "swift express delivery" based on urgent prevailing circumstances even if it means paying more to the manufacturer or retailer.

Daft defenders of the TINUBUVERSE in their usual, assured idiocy are justifying this silly explanation.
Chichi is not coming out again from the 12billion budgeted because money has been sheared after the little they have released for the Olympics. There is even a questions you all are not asking

First of all, cars don't take months anymore unless you are stuck in a very remote place on this planet— Domestically built: Can take 6–8 weeks

If you have ever bought a new car, you would know it can take months and even years to deliver. Even the ones for the crooks in the Senate and HOR took months to deliver.

I just ordered a Toyota grandhighlander in July, and I was given a date of 8 - 16 months for delivery.

Even the track bike used for a track event in the Olympic can take weeks or even months to deliver.
To deliver to Nigeria and be ship to France abi? With the 12billion budgeted for the Olympics. You mumu doesn't mean everybody too will be mumu and some persons are even liking your post. Smh

PoliticsRe: Why Fuel Importers Will Frustrate Dangote – Obasanjo by ericmor: 7:54am On Aug 06, 2024
EponObi:
See how Baba Iyabo dey talk like say the rot and mess we are experiencing today didn't start with him.

He's talking about Nigeria putting all her eggs in one basket. Lol. What did he do to diversify our economy as a military head of state and the first and a two-term president after 1999? The man even pushed a third term agenda.

Didn't everyone of them since 1960 abandoned agriculture and chased after oil money?

"I believe we made a very, very deadly mistake" - No sir, I believe YOU made a very, very deadly mistake.

When you invited Shell and they told you about the corruption ruining our refineries, sir, what did you do with the power given to you by the people to crush the cabal and rot in our oil industry? You were president for 8 years, what did you do to put the interest of the people as priority? What efforts did you make to change the trajectory of the NNPC for the benefit of the common Nigerians?

What was OBJ's stride in our gas sector? What policies and reforms did he introduce to the gas industry? What were his implementations? Didn't he flare our gas too?

OBJ is saying shit, with all due respect. This is the person some idiots are rallying around because the man they hate so much became president.

Tinubu's bad policies implementions aside, at least for the first time since 1960, we have a brave president who has the political will, muscle, and clout to repurpose our economy. And if the APC had allowed the GEJ the weakling remove the subsidy in 2011, we would have moved past this pain.

There's no going back from here, inshallah. The economy must be rejigged, no matter how pain and strenuous tbe process may be. History will remember Tinubu for not taking the easy route of padding our economy.

Edit: Some idiots are quoting me to say trash. The truth is bitter, so deal with it. Some were saying shit about good economy under OBJ. Lol, even a retard could run our economy like he did because of the oil boom. Go and check how much Nigeria earned with crude oil sales between 1999 and 2006. Then compare with next successive governments.

The crazy oil money during that time was one of the reason they all abandoned other critical areas of the economy for oil. They took the easy way and we are suffering it today. Nigerians just don't think, that's the issue. So far any 10 IQ president can subsidize their pmc and dollars, they think all is well and won't give a f*uck about their own future or that of the next generation.

All you want is government handouts in the form subsidies then you later cry that the country is retrogressing in economic and infrastructural development. One idiot even asked me to mention one third world country that isn't subsidizing their citizens. Oponu, must Nigeria remain a third world country for life, even after 60 years since independent? This is the kind of imbeciles that sell all they have and secure loans to japa to sane countries where nothing is free. Ode!

The country using 96% of our revenue to service loan; shouldn't that be a concern for any right thinking citizen? Instead of asking past government how and why we got to this point, the average Nigeria won't so far you give them subsidies as if they are orphans. And before you say dogshit, OBJ didn't have to borrow because of massive oil revenue. We started borrowing after the oil boom was over. And mind you, we shouldn't have borrowed to the extend where almost all our revenue is used to service loans if OBJ diversified our economy from the start with massive influx of income Nigeria earn during his time. He should have been the person to lay our economic blueprint and like I've said, he took the easy route and avoided the hard work.

Zero agriculture, terrible gas economy, no other economy sector, zero manufacturing + production just subsidies and inshallah plus crazy level of importation, and you, OBJ, is now complaining that our youth are redundant. Thunder fire you, sir.
I agree with you because if obasanjo had been fighting those cabal during his time and lay a good foundation, it would have been easy for his predecessors to cub them too. On the tinubu situation, he is also doing the same thing not dealing with those cabal. As the president of Nigeria he should sack anyone involve and see how others will sit right but he kept someone that has been telling us since the days of buhari that refinery will work and getting money from Nigeria budget to fix it with no result. That's a red flag. They are all the same with little or no difference. As a president, Your primary objective is for the people of the nation but unfortunately the people are hungry due to high cost of living and most especially high cost of food. It's just a shame

We need to really work hard on our talents

Talent is not a lucrative trade in Nigeria.

I have seen wonder kids in football and sports ending up going to law school or med school because there is no jope or future in nigeria sports.

Our colleges dont place value on sports or even Uni.

But in UK and US a sportman or athlete can get you an admission.

Competence over race and tribe has made great countries that is why asians can neve beat the west or even the russians.

Us will rather give scholars from china citizenship
Athlete from africa citizenship
Arab engr citizenship
Jew scientist same.

Any sphere of life you come you will not be able to defeat them

Competence is lacking in nigeria.
We pray for favour and divine connection.
Well we have seen how far we have gone
Nigeria is about now now, we don't plan for the future.. Anything that can't produce immediate fund for them, they are not interested
