Maliqcious: Most of you guys are stupid as Bleep. Yes the shops are becoming too much but that is never the In thing with festac… So idiots expects taxpayers to repair roads Festac has on the best road networks. The building looks old because it has not being painted for a long time. Tribal non sense is for what exactly? I saw a post from someone saying festac has a bad drainage system like can you imagine. We complain and overlook human factors encroachment on land meant water most people buy lands without taking build instructions. You see the painting aspect, I remember back then that the residence of each block are the ones that contributed to paint like every December in 101, B close |

Rayd502: I remember a place called cocaine avenue in Festac, how as kid growing up I used to admire the mansions in the area.
There was one particular house that stood out.It was built like the shape of a stadium. Very innovative at the time.
Festac was beautiful then.A well planned town with good roads and drainages in the 80s.i trekked that town tire going to school from 21 Road to 24 Road on a daily.I still cherish those childhood memories.
The last time I visited Festac in 2015,I wept. Cocaine avenue was full of mansion which I admired so much back then. Do pass through the place every Sunday on my way to church |

AerialMapper: FESTAC is now a mega slum. I remember it in 1984. Parks and lots of green areas
I live on 23 Road and the bungalows then were unfenced. Beautiful rows of bungalows...today they've all been fenced, all the parks are gone. In R close at the round about, there was open areas, today, mansions sit in those fields.
Football fields names after famous stadiums all gone; replaced by houses.
Moved to 21 Road I close and we had a big field opposite our block before Makay Plaza was built there and the First Tantalizer opened.
It is now a shithole Makay, 21 road is where you can find me in those days |

Nigeria better get an experience coach now if they want to qualify for the world cup, be it local or internal but international with discipline will be preferable to be able to handle those useless greedy NFA |

Why didn’t he reduce cement price after he built his cement plants and Nigeria had excess production? Is cement raw materials not locally produced? Yet cement became most expensive in Nigeria because Dangote is more concerned about becoming the richest man in the world.
Yet this olodo T thinks his fuel will be cheap. No wonder useless politicians like Tinubu keeps manipulating them like the fools they are. You have said it all but Nigerians don't like the truth |

who so ever wrote this is a person of wisdom. 99% on point Ochyes: 1. Stay silent. Not everything needs to be said. Silence is better than unnecessary drama.
2. If you find someone smarter than you, work with them, don't compete. Competition is a weakness.
3. The family you create is more important than the family you come from.
4. Your current job doesn't care about you. They only pay you enough to kill your dreams.
5. Free yourself from society's advice, most of them have no idea of what they're doing.
6. Influence: Most people drift through life. They have no purpose, no direction, and zero intent. Learn their needs. Lead them.
7. You are what you think, what you eat, what you read, the visuals/audio materials you consume and those you associate with.

Lazy Self-centered Jealous of your success
9. You'll be 10x happier if you forgive your parents and stop blaming them.
10. No one will ever come save you. Your life is 100% your responsibility.

STEWpid: Chai..
What you narrated is absolute uselessness.
That's not what I'm talking about.
I have witnessed a guy with wife and two kids struggling but determined in his place of work as an employee in a construction company.
One big client saw him and his efforts and decided to take him as a partner because of his experience. The guy basically run the new company and the big client is just based on return. The client took a loan of N500m to push the business - it wasn't up to 6 months that the money was regained and returned.
The guy right now is a mad multimillionaire and the client too is richer and never regretted his investment on the young man.

There are people languishing in prisons across the country for minor offences but the ones killing farmers, committing murder and rape are allowed to roam free because they have right of free movement to any part of the country according to Northern Senators. Is this the kind of country we desire for our coming generations? Constitution or no constitution, what is wrong is wrong. Even the constitution is a problem in Nigeria which need to be revisited |

ndu99: guy since at everton stones was a brilliant defender if not city wouldn't have signed him, same with Ake.
Foden just like mainoo was doing well in the academy that's why he got calledup into the senior team.
De bruyne was a better mid-fielder at chelsea but didn't have playtime cause they didn't believe in him. Who were they before gaurdiola bought them he asked. Ake was nothing, stone was just a English defender trying to make it and foden was nothing but a youth player and he made him great and palma also. A lot of them are been picked but end up as trash but guardiola makes them great. He did the same in barca also |

Bullman: It's not really about a good coach now, it's more about about funds.. Why didn't Ancelotti perform well during is tenure in everton ? because money no de. Man city used to be bottom dwellers before d Arabs bought the club.. It not really about d coach now it's all about funds, Cant u see how Chelsea life don spoil ever since d Russian billionaire sold the club ?? You may want to talk about manutd , those ones their problem is more of board of directors issues. For bercelona merci finished them well befor he left, they aint gat money to buy world class like madrid, paris and city.. If it is about funds, then Newcastle, PSG, Aston villa and clubs like man U also should have won champions league back to back and even EPL self. No matter how rich you are and no proper management you will go broke. Same with football, if you have the money and no good coach, the club will not achieve anything which is the case of the new Chelsea |
Sports › Re: UCL: Ancelotti Becomes Most Successful Manager Ahead Of Guardiola, Mourinho by ericmor: 9:46am On Jun 04, 2024 |
lagonovo: True, football was more competitive then and hard workers like Sir Alex Ferguson went through hell to attain success. Even when Manchester United had all the money in the world to buy the very best players the man only randomly pick one or two to blend into his team structure. He maintained their culture of academy players maturing into the team and blended with established stars bought at intervals. Unlike today when my Pep Guardiola will buy, try and sell 4 different left backs, 3 different goalkeepers etc before eventually getting it right. How many did he buy when he started his career with Barcelona? |

JohnnA1: Ferguson is not over hyped.
He focused on the local league (EPL) as Liverpool were the established champions for a long time.
It was during the latter years (after dominating the EPL) that he started paying more attention to the Champions League.
Ferguson won 2 Champions Leagues out of just 4 finals.
He is not over hyped. Focus on local league ke? He is good in is own way but over hyped because you will think he had won 5 champions league with the way they hyped him. that's the point. Fergie and klop play the same style of football and klop was able to get to 3finals and won 1 in his 7years spell. Only if klop got that favor from FA like fergi, he would have won more EPL. That is why people believe fergi is over hyped |
Sports › Re: UCL: Ancelotti Becomes Most Successful Manager Ahead Of Guardiola, Mourinho by ericmor: 7:36am On Jun 03, 2024 |

Ogah football isn't as competitive as it was back then.. There was Barcelona, Milan, porto, juventus, liverpool that will always play rubbish in premiership but become title contenders in every champions league. When real madrid had the galaticos dem no de even smell semis mostly na round of 16 or quarterfinal. Clubs are more stronger now because of the new owners. And what happened then was that great coaches were not really interested in EPL back then that was why he find it difficult facing those coaches in CL but easy to ride on the EPL coaches and getting the FA support doing that also but when the coaches started coming in, EPL started becoming a problem for him and he realised that and retired. Look at guardiola and mouriho, in short time you can see the EPL they got compare to fargi years |

He is kind of because he had all the financial support coaching one of the richest club in the world, but I just respect him for he is a discipline coach. Look at the two finals he won, favor was with man U. We saw what he did when the good coaches started showing interest in EPL. He took off |

AMAAnalytics: I hope he won't disrupt the team's dynamic sha. We currently have a team of young and talented players, and they are all friends and spend time off the pitch together.
Mbappe will be coming in and will want to be treated like a superstar. The wage disparity alone could cause some issues.
The only good thing is that since he last rejected Real Madrid, the club has won 2 champion's league. So it's clear they are fine without him.
Also, Don Carlo is able to manage big players with ego. So hopefully Mbappe will behave and align They build and strengthening the team which made them stronger and successful. If not, they won't get all that champions league they got |
