I'm not sure whether it's love, lust or foolishness, and I have my strong opinion on the issue, but I think the reason why some men treat their girlfriends better than their wives, is because of the fact that the wife is definite, she will be waiting at home, whilst their is definitely an element of spontaneity involved with the girlfriend, therefore he tries harder as he could lose her. Sometimes, they just enjoy the mere idea of chasing girls around and so they put the wife in the 'boring box' - even if the poor woman has lots to offer to the marriage, but the girlfriend becomes the interesting element to their lives.

See i believe pple with good character can't neva be hidden when it comes 2 d issue of marriage. I have not seen some1 tagged "wife material" which is vry clear 2 all men around goes or remain single all her life. Neva! Bt in that of a man it might be as a result of financial constraint. Many SA girls have wide hips, fat arses, and thick thighs, as well as a nice attitude to complement it. Naija girls on the other hand mostly have straight hips, flat arses, and skinny thighs, as well as a nasty attitude. Since black women are supposedly genetically predisposed to having fat arses and wide hips, i.e., as seen in many akata, SA African, and Liberian women, why this trait missed most Nigerian women, I will never know.
