We most understand dat our leaders killed all our youth by killing education..
D weapon to d future of every nation are d youths and d weapon of d youth is education...education is not just going to skul..same education is been killed.
The same way our leaders kill each other for not been on d same page is d same way our youths kill each other on socail medias.
It is well with the youth of Nigeria and God bless Nigeria

Only for ur u to ask such a question..it wld mean dat for u to b worried about ur question..u intend mis - using ur visa n not plan to exit according to d visa rule...

If ur visa as been issued after all dis delays n u plan to do wat u planing to do. ..rember some faithful dudes wld suffer from ur mis use of visa

Let me now attempt ur question...during our stay i did not experience such...but wat i can gurantte u as som1 who is travelled well is dat one day one day u go encounter em n for sure u go explain....gbam

Please I intend traveling to RSA any moment from now. I heard people are been return back from POE due to not holding enough BTA....Please , hope I won’t have problem with $700 as my BTA for one week stay...I already sort the hotel...
@PARAMAJIT...

So i heard dat people are returned back even d immigration in Nigeria also adviced..am still holidaying here with my family n we did not experience such..maybe because we are families..but then if ur hotel is already sorted n u ave d confirmation + 700usd for one person i think ure very gud to go...

Anybody spending 700usd - hotel to any country for 1 week is more than gud to any country

Cheers

Am now feeling terrible about ur situation
If i were u and my travel dates as passed..i wld not boda maili d embassy,cos it's a pure waste of time...i wld approach VFS n request for withrawal...

We really can't speak for dis embassies but i wana biliv some sort of reasons on our part as Nigerians is why such things are happening..cld range from fraudulent document or mis-conceptions or mis interpretations...

@ J132C am not saying or pointing accusing fingers at u...isbjust dat when d sinners suffer some genuine people suffer same faith

D real reason dis forum was initiated was to grow us as reputable citizens...no boycotting no agents afterall if ur real reason for visas is for holidays ..it shldn't be a do or die.....

The noise as been every where that agents wld destroy u...if e got d visa today n years after u wana apply urslf or thru another agents..u discover mis leading stored documents

No wonder revoking of previouslt US visitors is rampant dis days..fud for thouts...

To answer d man with d agents umbrella..."YES" u must go with ur family

@Gewezzy1...
Don't waste ur time calling the embassy
He should visit the embassy. As a citizen the embassy is open to him at any point intime without an appointment...he shld go with his expired passport...either it is renewed for him or a travel certificate *TC* is issued to him to travel back to homeland to renew..

@mercyitodo...
Honestly i do not know cost for monthly rent as am not a resident here...

Ur question wld be answered better by residents..i don't see ow a toutist will cope financially here for 1 month... maybe u are an intended resident

How safe is South Africa currently? Durban, Capetown or Johannesburg?
@Mercyitodo...
I and my family are currently holidaying in jo'bug,my view is dat if u stay in any place in SA..u shld stay at one of their highbrows,...every country has it's own safety fears...stay in places dat are kinda high class n always stay clear of normal areas, if u ave to visit know u are visiting n leave intime...
One thing about holiday is b ready to spend

@kaleydd2000.
I wana think most embassies wld accept ur application starting from 3 months to ur trip...

Incases of delay submitting early wld give u room to relax

Now dat SA are doing wonderful in terms of processing time..u can submit 1 month or 3 weeks to ur trip[/quote]Do a stated letter explaining d 100k with proofs

Hi Guys,

Big ups to everyone doing good here.

So i have an issue that keeps me up at night (well... sometimes)

I've been to SA twice and the last time i went over my visa got stamped for 7 days instead of the 15 days visa i was given.
Apparently the immigration officer looked at my first visa that was valid for 7 days and stamped my duration of stay for the same making it look like i overstayed for 8 days. I didnt notice until 3 days before departure. Got a letter from the office at SA stating that it was an error on their (immigration) part and asking that i should be granted assistance in anyway possible.

Well. When i got to the airport the immigration officer decided to put the blame on me saying i should have come earlier. She showed me the prompt on her computer that said i had overstayed and verbally said i'll never be allowed entry into South Africa anymore. i'll need to travel to South Africa again in 2 months for work related stuff and i'm super concerned about this issue. I've been to the embassy and i wasnt granted entry to talk to any official which is just sad considering issues like this should be expected to happen and a system should be in place to fix them.

My question now is has anyone had a similar experience or know the best way to go around this?
@drered...
Nothing to worry about package ur doucmunent
,write a letter addressing it n attach a copy of the immigration mistake...lobaton(dat's all)

Hi Erin, I did go through booking.com and contacted the hotels directly. The ones whose rates were cheap enough redirected me to booking.com. Two of the hotels I found asked me to chat with me on whatsapp. They agreed for me to pay for two nights and after asking me if I had anyone in SA to make payment for me which I said no, they gave me a Nigerian personal accountin which to pay in. I'm scared to make the payment because I don't want to be scammed. I thought I was supposed to pay online with my MasterCard. Please did anybody pay into a Nigerian account? Did the hotel send a booking reservation after the payment? Abeg make una no taya for my matter o
@Spicemiee...
I can't advice u to pay to a Nigerian account
I wld advice that u either find a close relative in SA whom can help u pay n make sure u are paying into an account with d hotel name or pay with ur card...better still pay from ur 9ja account to the hotels SA account..dis last option is ur best bet d way dis thing is giving u issue n close on the bank rate....

If u accept to do via d last option...any hotel u contact tell em u can make payment into their account....dat reason dey wld not send u back to bookjng .com... d payment is d reason u are been sent back...

Wish u best...wish i can do more..

18th working day and my application is still under assessment. Please what do I do? It's a visiting visa
@j132c...
Kinda strange cos d working efficiency of the SA embassy recently as been applaudable...completion of process taking from 1 day to atmost 4 to 5 days for visiting visas

Have u applied for a SA visa b4?
And were u issued or denied?
Amongst ur submitted document is there any forged or fake documents?

Did u package ur application urslf or via an agent?

With 18 days and still under assesment u may still wait if ur travel dates ave not passsed,but if it as passed u have d choice to continue to wait or approach vfs for a withdrawal
