Mirrah: I appreciate you brother. Thanks for your advice. |

SamuelTaiw0: Thanks bro. From your advice, I've automatically removed muscle from the list. I'm thinking of civic 09 but just as you said, clearance is the problem. My former civic, i had it raised from the ground a little, but i was still feeling the low clearance. I Don't like Big daddy physical design. Not fine ![]() 1 Like |

northbird: Thanks a lot for your brotherly advice. My neighbor said i should go for Toyota camry 07 muscle or Honda civic 09. Please which would you advice me for. Both maintenance, fuel efficiency and otherwise? |

northbird: Yes bro, I've done this business before. I bought a Nigerian used Honda civic last year from a Nlander, but unfortunately what i bought was a scrap sold as barely used (I was an auto novice). The car consumed me both financially and emotionally. I was totally drained and lin. I was now running into debts from different loan companies. If i use the car to work and make maybe 5k, the next day i will be in mechanic shop spending times two to times three of the profit i made. Later sold the car off after I've changed almost everything in the car. It was a terrible experience. Ever since then, i vowed never in my life to buy a Nigerian used car. Especially when i don't know the history of the car. So a family friend who saw what i went through decided to buy me any car of my choice to do the biz again Meanwhile I'm into CCTV installation Fire alarm Electric fence....but no contract for now 4 Likes |

Orenike: They will flash it out. Same thing happened to me when i misplaced my Redmi 8 inside danfo bus in Lagos. I locked it with a written note, including my number. About a week thereabout, a strange number called and was telling me how he bought my phone in Lafenwa in Abeokuta. But that the phone is locked. I explained everything to him and promised to compensate him if only i can get my phone. The mumu said no. That he want to return it and get his money back. I asked for the seller contact, he refused. The next day, i received a message that the account has been reset and I can't have access to it any longer. That was how it ended. 116 Likes 8 Shares |

dapotemi: Abeg face front. Dem dey count meat, ponmo dey raise hand. If i did not talk, it is same you that will say nobody has indicated buying his items. Person post with high price, you will talk...reminding the person that this is clearance thread. Person ko post with low price, same you will say the person want to use the cheap prices to prey on others. Person ko post ad with new account, you will talk...telling people that the poster is a potential scammer. And when someone uses his old account of 7yrs+ to post his/her ad, same you will come here to say people are now using their old account to scam. What do you really want Mr man cos it seems you don't know what you want 2 Likes |

pocohantas: You should be the one to rest for putting mouth for what doesn't concern you. I don't know what's your problem. Why will you quote me? Do i have any business with you? Why not mind your business. I feel I'm also directly or indirectly the cause of this and that's reason why i tender my apology just like the seller did and only for you to come here and call me a ONE TIME NIGERIAN CUSTOMER. Please face front. Don't quote me again cos i don't have any business with you. Respect your old age. |
![]() |
pocohantas: So because I'm a one-time-NIGERIAN-customer as you claim, i shouldn't talk? Do you know how painful it is to be tagged a scammer especially by someone you've not transact with? And Instead of you asking if I'm he or he's me, why not you go through my post to see if actually I'm he of he's me. At least I'm a old member with some posts attached to my moniker. Why not read them and investigate it yourself. I shouldn't talk because you people bought data for me or what? I shouldn't express myself ![]() Telling them not to escalate the issue is now a crime. Someone will Come online only to see one ghost/silent member quoting the same issue we've earlier apologized and the fellow will start looking for what is not missing and here you are saying I'm a one time Nigerian customer ![]() And I hope if someone out of the blue call you a scammer, you won't react or those who have known/transact business with you will not defend you. Cos from your post, it's a crime to do so. 8 Likes |

dapotemi: You guys should cut him some slack. All these unnecessary accusations are now becoming annoying. The seller has apologized on several occasions and i also apologize for being the cause of all these, yet you guys are still digging up the case. How can you accuse someone of trying to scam people when the said person has not scammed you or someone close to you? Someone was even saying the Seller tagged the price low so he can prey on people ![]() I met the guy in his house and did the transaction and all the items where in good condition. Due to how cheap the items was, i had to buy other items from him. I will post their pictures tomorrow in my house. Not every seller that is after money. Cut that guy some slack. He has apologized, I've also apologized. So what else do you guys want? People make mistakes on daily basis. He made a mistake and he has acknowledge his mistakes and apologize too. Make una die this matter. He no make sense again ![]() 11 Likes |

Trojan8: But this is very very unfair of you. How do people apologize properly that the seller has not done earler? The guy has already apologized earlier about two times and you are still asking him to apologize properly. That guy in question is really a nice person if you meet him one and one. I really enjoyed my meeting with him. Once again, i apologize for the inconveniences I've caused. It's all my fault. I'm the one who pleaded with him to keep those items for me till the next day after failing to turn up the first day. It's my fault. |

theenchanter: Please this is not true The seller is very genuine and ALL the things he posted to sell are actually genuine. I'm the one who bought those stuff's from him and failing to show up a day before i picked them up. I was actually on my way to his house but traffic was mad so i had to turn back. I called him to explain the situation on ground and i pleaded with him to give me another chance (being the next day) which he agreed and the next day i went to his place with a car to pick those stuffs up. He's really a nice and understanding fellow. Everything he posted here were in good condition. I deeply apologize for the inconveniences I've caused, please forgive. 1 Like 1 Share |

Goodboy2000: Bro find way migrate to Lagos. Although it depend on the part of Ogun state that you are. Someone from Ph, i find Ogun state (Abeokuta) too local and boring couple with tribalistic landlords/landladies. You see people walking bare footed and baggers everywhere. Getting apartment there especially from those old men/women is very difficult except from well enlighten and educated ones. You keep on hearing Omo Igbo wherever you go. My experience from the first work i got there as a Secretary in one newly established real estate company was something else. My boss was a very young guy and caring, not until his friends started questioning him why he exployed an igbo person to be incharge of his money. I was so so shocked when he told me this. He was even bold enough (though not in an angry manner) to tell me that people from south east/south south are not considered To be trustworthy by the yorubas. That was when he started acting funny. Once a client drop money in my possession, he will call immediately to go give the money to his friend or he will come to the office immediately to pick up the money. Unlike him. I later quit the job cos i didn't find his attitudes nice anymore. Note: My boss was very very good to me. A young and whatsup guy. He sometimes tipped me etc and we are still in good terms up till date. Tribalism is really killing us as a nation. Funny enough i never knew such thing exist not until i finish my Service in Jigawa and decided to leave my comfort zone (ph) to Abk with my Western nysc colleague/friend in search of greener pastures. I really hope that i will someday be able to talk about this tribalism that is destroying us. I was told same thing is applicable to the core igbo states. I don't know if it's true or not cause i haven't stayed there. But in my place, this tribalism is minimal cos i was born and grew up in Yoruba zone in Ph. I won't be wrong to say most Yorubas do not like the igbos that much and Most igbos too do not like yorubas that much. Getting married to each other na war too due to what family will say... Same southerners, Same Nigerians o ![]() |

Op before you finalize what to do with your money, try and convert it to dollars. Follow the advice the poster above me said. On the 27th June and 5th July, i converted the small money i had with me to USDT, you won't believe that from that day till now, I've gotten interest of 31k alone just for saving in dollar. I've come to realize that saving in Dollar alone is an investment plan. The naira is fast losing it worth 1 Like |

purejustice36: Yes it's good. Just came back from there last week. If traveling with your car, make sure you have a lot of pieces notes with you. Because i personally counted the number of police check point from Lagos to Ph and it was 57 check point in total followed through Onitsha/Owerri-Ph. Someone with a private car, you will be dropping some money to avoid delay. 1 Like |
