University of new south wales,i think it should be among the top 5 universities in australia,and top 50 in the world.
I applied for masters in public health (postgraduate),only problem is that the scholarship availability is close to none, (except ausaid,and for phds)....its quite expensive and i think being a medical doctor helped boost my chances of being admitted.
I know quite a few nigerians there,so yes admission should be considerably easy...in fact easier than all others i know of.

This is in line with the global trend of decline in oil price.
Im positive this would pick up soon, and I believe studying in australia would give you an edge when you are ready to dive into the australian labour market.
My advise, attend conferences while in school, make sure your thesis is industry focused, and pay attention to the global trends in the industry.: a clue........ unconventional resources (cbm, shalegas, geothermal etc)
When you get there and put your ears on the ground...... im sure you'd be fine

I know Mining Engineers are at a premium in Australia, are Petroleum Engineers in high demand too?? I'm looking to start an MSC in Petroleum Engineering at UNSW, come July. Saw a couple of articles online, insinuating the demand for Petroleum Engineers has dipped by about 70 percent!!..I'd like feedback from folks who know anything about this. Thanks.

If you received an email earlier, stating that you've been shortlisted for second stage, you should log on to the website now to start stage two.

There you will see your total score and your certificate, with options to download and share with friends.
I scored 9000 points...dunno if that's a 90% though.

I've completed stage 2 also.

There was a link sent to you by sms. Copy that link in the address bar of your browser, click enter. It takes you to a page where you type in your Application I.D. It then takes you to a page where you type the first 4 letters of the email address you registered with. You then see a page with a list of instructions and a 'Begin Test' tab. Click on it, you'd begin your test. It is not done in Batches or 'at random'. You can do the test at any time before the 3rd of March. Your page was blank probably because of the web traffic. Try taking the test at night, you'd be fine.

I have completed mine. I did the test with my laptop. For those yet to write the test and applied with B.Sc. Should go and prepare for ration and nearest in meaning. The Ratio questions is messy. Who have idea of the total mark? I almost forgot, some of the questions didn't come up on my screen. Like there was no Question 3, 5, 8...I don't understand that.

Exactly!. Some questions didn't come up. That was weird. With 20 questions, the total mark is maybe a 100.

That test flew past real quick. I didn't see some questions though. Smh. Ossy4mokpo have you written yet?

If folks with just an SSCE are going to get tested too, i think that excludes typical aptitude test formats like GSE, Dragnet and the likes. Perhaps, O'level Maths, English, maybe Physics would make up this aptitude test.

preetygina: jst got done hmmmm.15 numericals n 15 verbal.40mins for 30 ques.d numerical is kinda simple for those gd in maths.i did a lot of guess work shaa.verbal is better.my questions disappeared n appeared like 3 times which made me start all ova.buh thank goodness i submitted successfully with d help of God, my glo bolt n Mozilla n i must receive success mail in jesus name.amen! for those asking abt d amt of mb needed for d test, i used up 29mb n wud ve used lesser than that if nt for lil issue i had. success to my colleagues yet to take d test.
