Kindly use the SVP. deleyi20: Hello House, Please I want to understand the end from the beginning. As regards visa application, What is the visa acceptance rate for Streamlined Visa Processing(SVP)? Is it advisable for a student(Masters Appl) to use this route? is it better than AL3 ish? Please help

I used certified docs for my visa application. Sailed through. Apparently, notarized or certified documents can be used interchangeably. I stand corrected though. ewagbamio: @scrollmeout,thanks I sent you a PM
@ernestudezi, thanks a lot too, but what are the practical differences between notarized and certified docs especially in the context of Australia imi plans? Are certified documents accepted in lieu of notarized docs? |

Customary court, Old Aba Road, Close to Woji Junction. Ask for a Nengi Ibiso. You'd be Certifying though not Notarizing. 500 bucks a page. ewagbamio: Hi @all Please who has done Notarization of documents in any court in port harcourt? I have used private lawyers in the past and the price is quite steep, usually 5k per page . Now that the courts are open and I have a lot of docs to notarize, about 30 pages in all I believe it'l be cheaper doing it in the high courts.
I'll be grateful if anybody who has done it in Ph or it environs can volunteer info on how he/she went about it
It doesn't have to be the courts, if anybody know any affordable Notary Public in Rivers State, please kindly state it here. Can't go throwing ~30*5k away just for notarization alone
Thanks in advance |

You can't submit a student visa application online. You can only generate a HAP ID online, which you'd need to do your medicals. teeflow09: Please help how can I go about submitting my application online before going to teleperformance to submit, it seems it has more advantage. ..Please help! |

1) It is possible. However, the Teleperformance guys, where you'd lodge your visa application, close by 3 o'clock. So you'd have to start the medicals very early in the day. If you can do your Polio Vaccination ( Yellow Card ), before going to Fatayi Williams, it would expedite everything. Medicals BEFORE lodging visa application.
2) 54/56 Bankole Street, Marina, Behind Elephant House.
3) SVP? No bank statement needed.
4) I think the total is 87,125 for a singular applicant. Check the Teleperformance website.
5) Do the medicals before you apply for the visa. Write a strongly worded Personal statement ( Question 33 ), carefully fill the application form, don't contradict yourself. Get all the docs you'd need certified. You can get your visa in 5 working days. July 1st, is very close though..you should talk to your school, see if you can defer till the next semester. However, if you do the above and pray, 5 working days = Your visa. Goodluck.

Has anyone used the IOM guys to buy a ticket? They asked me to attach copies of my 'Bio data page and my visa pages'. Visa Pages?..does that mean all the pages with visa labels on them? Or does that mean all the Visa pages on your passport ? ( There are a lot of them!) Or does that mean a copy of your visa grant notice?..kindly advise. |

July 20th is still a bit far away. You can just relax. By 22nd of June, it will just be a month since you applied. I think somewhere in their website, they particularly say one shouldn't send unnecessary enquiries, if your visa application is still within the standard processing period. My advice is chill. richnet: My people, pls I need your advice. my 572 application was received on 22 of April. I wrote an email to Aussie embassy on 10th may to know my student visa application status, they replied on 11th may saying standard processing time is 3 month.
I want to know if, the person that replied is my CO, also do I need to write anothe email to them, becuase I have been waiting and praying..waiting is killing and anxiety as well. Till today I have not written to them & not heard from them and my uni resumes on 20th July. Also, I didn't include SOP in my app, but on the app form there is section requesting me to itemize my purpose of which i wrote and also attach a separate sheet along with the application.
My school is TAFE is Melbourne and my totalbank statement has about 4.7M my brother gave me his about 3M and i included mine about 1.7M. we bear same surname. I also included a land property documents and am single.
Pls I need your advice, what are my chances and the waiting is really killing me. Should I write them again to know my application status, should write to know who is my CO. Pls I need your comments. kindly respond. |

No you don't. Download the form 157a, and the Nigeria Student Visa checklist from the Teleperformance website. Fill those forms carefully, certify the docs you'd need. Take along 2 passports, the forms, the certified docs and about 90k to the Teleperformance office in Lagos or Abuja. Submit. FEMINONI: My school is under SVP and I do have the necessary documents. Do I still need to go through an agent for the visa application? Who's heading to Sydney? UNSW? |

I think that's the number for all international enquiries. +61 2 9385 6996 omooba2015: Thanks for your reply, Do you have direct line to Admission office, and what time do you think I can call them in Nigeria time... Please text me there line or email ,anyone u have. Thanks |

I'm sure the school would be happy to answer any questions you have. 12k deposit? I don't think so. My tuition is about 40k too, and i paid 6k before i got the COE. So i think it's a fixed amount. Although, you would have to pay for Health insurance. I used Medicare OSHC, set me back another 1000 AUD for 2 years 3 months. The length of your program determines the length of health coverage you'd need. omooba2015: Thanks for your reply @ernestudezi, that means for the tutions of 40k,I will be making a deposit of 12k. And for each course cost 3080aud. Are u in that school now (UNSW). I m even thinking,if they allow me pay 6k for collecting my COE,I will be glad. I m for February intake. Can I call the school for enquiry concerning payments method for the program or it's not necessary. Thanks once again |

My school did not ask for a statement of account before they issued a COE. Are you certain, the school will 'definitely' ask for it? FutureDon: Although you do not need to include a statement of account when applying for visa under SVP route, the school will def ask for it before your Confirmation of Enrollment (COE) document can be issued. You'll also be asked to make part payment of your tuition and full payment of health insurance.
Yes it is possible for the Embassy to request for it as they have the rights to do so, however the chances that they will ask for it are really really really slim, you feel me? |
Travel › Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by ernestudezi(m): 10:58am On Jun 09, 2015 |
You won't get asked for your bank statement at the 'interview'. There's actually no interview, you just submit your documents at the Teleperformance office. However, you might get called for a phone interview, you can't show your bank statement over the phone. iykosman: Hello house, someone should please help me on this. I am applying for a Masters degree through SVP and I would like to know, since the account statement is not required, if I might be asked to show my account balance at the interview or so. This is because I am the one sponsoring myself and I don't have all the funds required but I hope to complete it when I get to Australia as I plan to study and work as well. Is it possible that the embassy might want to see the balance? Please I need ur help, it's urgent. |

Just saw this. You'd pay 6000 AUD, before you get your COE. You'd have to pay roughly around 12k, by the end of July when classes resume. You take 4 courses a semester, each course is 6 units. Each unit, is about 770 dollars. Do the maths. omooba2015: Pls, I want to apply to this UNSW, and about to submit my application, but going through the school fees,it scared me. 40,000aud. Master in professional Accounting, I want to know the percentage cost I can pay. Do you think if I get contact the Admission office, they can tell me amount I can deposit before giving me COE. For those are in the school already pls HELP. Any Answer!!!. |

I suggest you use PFL Education. It takes roughly a month to get feedback from UNSW. omooba2015: Thanks bros.... Do you know anything about the school about Admission.. You don't need an English Test to get admission into UNSW. You don't need an English test to apply for a 573 SVP. You could add it though, but it isn't compulsory. Your COE from the school would state that you "provided other form of testing, which satisfied the Institution". omooba2015: Thanks my brother.. I m going for Master. UNSW. |
