I have said it several times that Onaiyekan is a confirmed Obidient Bishop. He has never hidden it, he has through his actions been supporting Peter Obi since 2022.

Anyone claiming he is a neutral man of God is just trying to be clever by half
Adagbite is aso rock chaplain. What exactly were you expecting him to say. To say the cardinal was right and possibly lose his job? TVC should have invited a neutral Bishop if they wanted an unbiased opinion.

I quoted many comments that were defending the man for putting cassava on the road and saying it is not the government duty to provide for the citizens.

your comments say "So it's the gov responsibility to provide him with agro processing equipments right?

Nigerians with their entitlement."

I responded to this comment above..

the gov has ministries and those ministries have budgets... the funds allocated to the Agriculture ministry can be used to build agro-facilities for farmers across the country..

I am not arguing with you...

I am educating you.

your understanding is no where near it should be if you are an adult.. unless you are a gov paid keyboard warrior

even if you are a gov paid keyboard warrior you should have the understanding to acknowledge the gov bad performance...
I should be the one educating you. Government provides for the public and not specific individuals except in rare peculiar cases. Most Nigerians thinks Government has to provide their individual needs not create the environment or stimulate the economy for that I have seen

Nigerians misbehaving because they it's their land and you are giving a kudo because you, in your house, fells he doesn't know better. How wonderful.

Government have ministries with budgets and we've read time and again how ministries in nigeria are undefunded. I ask again, have you heard of budget deficits no?

TheGoodJoe:
Thanks for this. First, Germany is one EU's richest country. Even countries like the US may not have this kind of offer for its citizens. My take is still that government can't do everything we want because of limited spending unless we are ready for hyperinflation by printing money.
Politics › Re: Man Caught Sun Drying Cassava On A Newly Constructed Road In Ibadan by erniok(m): 4:01pm On Aug 06
codemaniacs:
we are talking about the man putting food on the ground..

we are NOT talking about spending limits or corruption..

where was the budget deficit when they were buying SUVs and luxury furniture for themselves..

we are not talking about U.S..

he went to a road because he does not have a flat cemented surface in his farm ( if he owns a farm ), he could have been given the cassava or even stolen the cassava...

the man does not have the knowledge and intelligence to have anywhere else to do that...
On the first bolded, why did you quote me to start with?

Really.?? I'm done with this new line of argument on the second bolded.
Politics › Re: Man Caught Sun Drying Cassava On A Newly Constructed Road In Ibadan by erniok(m): 3:04pm On Aug 06
codemaniacs:
Government does not have spending limits when it comes to buying luxury SUVs for themselves but suddenly have spending limits when it comes to providing agro-facilities for farmers...

you need to wake up and smell the coffee not me..

stop trying to deflect using the US... this is about Nigeria and not U.S..

stop trying to be clever because you are showing signs that you are not clever...
we are arguing about government speeding limits and you are talking about corruption so pls, sticknto the premise of the arguement. I bet you've heard about budget deficit no? I had to bring in the US to show limited spending is a global issue but you, the smarty pant, didn't pick that or deliberately chose to ignore that.

you had to bring in agro facilities for what is at the moment an individual that has a farm and yet went to a public space to spread his cassava and yet want to sound smart. Do you want me to believe he has nowhere else to do that but on the road?

Continue with your delusion.
Politics › Re: Man Caught Sun Drying Cassava On A Newly Constructed Road In Ibadan by erniok(m): 2:09pm On Aug 06
TheGoodJoe:
Are we not discussing a single case here? Our government does not have limited spending as long as billions of naira gets siphoned out of the system. Unless there is a plug and judicious spending on the people, limited spending is a hoax.
No we are not as you are yet to tell the full story of the lady. Post a link so I can read up too. While I understand your angst against our wonderfully corrupt pol8ticians, that's not what I'm arguing against at the moment.

the government has zero limits on that provisions that it makes for its citizens..

corporate org are not meant to seize opportunities because that means citizens will not get jobs if a foreign corporate org seizes opportunities and only hires foreigners...

this is about Nigeria and not the US...
Government has spending limits and can't address every issue raised in the society. When you wake up to smell the coffee, you'll realise this else US would have solved its housing issues decades ago and no, it's not about Nigeria but a global problem.
Politics › Re: Man Caught Sun Drying Cassava On A Newly Constructed Road In Ibadan by erniok(m): 1:38pm On Aug 06
codemaniacs:
it is the government both federal, state and local governments duty to provide for its people
Government has a limit that the provision it makes for it citizens and that's why corporate org sees those opportunities and seize them. Even in US, you have the homeless so why haven't their government ensured that has stopped.
Politics › Re: Man Caught Sun Drying Cassava On A Newly Constructed Road In Ibadan by erniok(m): 1:36pm On Aug 06
TheGoodJoe:
Yes it is. It is not entitlement. There is a video of a Nigerian girl in Germany, where the government spent 22,000 Euros, to train her in driving and maintaining modern vans, and still bought a van for her?

It is not entitlement. It is the duty of the government.
Why use a single case and not general. Government think in terms of public well being not individuals. If the government sees that the public will benefit frommthe cassava dryer, they should provide it by all means but not for an individual or very few members of the public.

Why do courts suspend drivers license and not order government to teach them how to drive properly. Government has limited spending, hope 6pu know that.

Whats wrong with that when the road is not in use.......did the govt provide him with agro processing equipment to dry and grind his cassava........this is a practice that has been in existence since I can remember and it most likely is just about the quantity the poor farmer wants to consume with his family.
So it's the government responsibility to provide him with agro processing equipments right?

Nigerians with their entitlement.

Seven districts of Kyiv were affected by the attack. Eighteen residential buildings, a school, the Lithuanian Embassy and infrastructure facilities were damaged, while numerous fires broke out across the city.

Those who moved from Europe to present day Palestine to commit Gaza genocide on Palestinians today are originally from these areas of Ukraine.

As they are killing innocent Palestinians in Palestine and babies in Iran, Russia is giving it back to them by killing their people in Ukraine.

Trump started an unjust war of aggression on Iran without a plan. Smh.

Zelensky says he does not have patriot missile but has missile to blow up an Iranian civilian merchant ship last week, acting on the orders of Trump and Netanyahu. Smh.

So you invariably support Russian attack on civilian infrastructures.

Tell me the difference between FX and sport betting? Sport betting is even more entertaining. FX is like poker, very volatile is basically on luck and little skill and no interesting play just results of win or lose, While sport betting is like whot or ludo you still enjoy your play whether you lose or win.
Have you ever traded before? Both are entertaining depending on how you look at it.

Finally this story has made it to NL.
I have been telling you about how Obi didn't want this guy as Governorship candidate of NDC in Lagos just because he's a Muslim. First hand information.
Obi the religious fanatical and tribal bigot knows that this guy won but he vetoed the results and imposed the loser as the winner.
Same Agulu clown will be talking about democracy and rule of law.

But I'm glad that Noheem is getting this treatment, now he knows he dining with his enemies.
He was blinded by hatred of Tinubu, now he should know that he has worst enemies than Tinubu.
A man who's who's whole political agenda is to see the end of Tinubu is now being accused of being a Tinubu mole.
This is what you get when you hate others for the wrong reasons.
The only argument that I always have with him is about Tinubu, nothing else.
So monye and other close PO pals that lost using this same method, were they Muslims too?
