That's because of the poor SoC and screen resolution used on the infinix.

I use an infinix note 5 and I'm happy with it, even as a power user, it works just fine, it's VR ready also. Tecno is not bad as many potray it, where was xiaomi when Tecno entered the Nigerian market to rescue us from HTC, Samsung etc. I fell in love with the Tecno p2 back in 2009, I could use it as a hotspot, browse, record etc for only 12k, no Samsung phone even the cheap duos cost below 35k back then. Tecno believed in us when xiaomi didn't, let them reap the rewards of their hardwork and patience in Nigeria. I rest my case.

Example of the average Nigerian that we are talking about. grin

Exactly! You can't believe i watched Nickelodeon for just 20mins and 400mb was deducted during this lockdown wey money no dey .

Cant even watch Nickelodeon it stops after few seconds on 4g Airtel and its in HD quality..
I just watch the Tom and Jerry show on Boomerang it takes about 4mb per minute so its fair.

I think some channel are in SD quality by default.
Noticed 4-6 mb per minute (400-600mb per hour) on some channels and 6 -11mb per minute (600 to 1gb per hour) on some cry

.
Some channels stream for only few seconds before stopping..

I'm a heavy phone user that I'm always online 247 but my present phone redmi xiaomi note 8 battery isn't serving me as expected.

I'm eyeing Samsung m31 because of its 6000 mah and cool features.

My budget is 120k max but if there are recommendations a bit higher than this with good reasons I can just go buy the phone
