Also, Andela have done extremely well to pioneer TRUE software engineering education in Nigeria but with around 10 Fellows being admitted from a pool of ~500 applications per Class, it seems the selection process is too stringent. With the backing and financial musculature that Andela boasts, I think they could and should open that door just a bit more, or partner with corporations in the U.S. and elsewhere that would do the same commendable thing they've done here.

it's not because you applied to the previous class. you can always apply again.

is anyone in my situation i just applied to the class vii program, the stuff submitted my application with my previous test scores, without conducting a new cbt, the other question is this since the andela personnel have already interviewed me in the last interview stage, wouldn't it look like desperation seeing me again, since they probably wouldn't be asking anything new and my details are already with them.

i think your age matters. If you are above 27, forget Andela. They will never accept you.

If the person you're talking about is above 27 and didn't make the cut, then he/she simply didn't make the cut. sheesh

all I can say is if you don't have the passion, don't waste your time and energy because you will so hate your life. the take-home is not all that. that's why I say you really need that passion.

nicechizzy, they'll pay, yea but its more about your passion than the cash. I can tell you this, if you're in it for the money, you might end up being disappointed and frustrated cos every little thing will get to you.
