Business To Business › Where Can I Find Exportation Services That Are Not Overly Expensive? by Erza(op): 2:28pm On Sep 15, 2020 |
I am trying to export some items and the options I've seen are very costly. Even NIPOST is charging about $70 for just 5kg. So I'm open to checking out other options |

blueyedgeek: Yesterday, an hackathon took place at the main campus (building cool stuff using Uber's api) and today we'll be working with apis as well.
The bootcamp has been really exciting, sitting in a class with 16 (not accounting for those that were taken to the python class) eager coders (fine babes included) really makes you push yourself. Everyday, I wake up, I'm always excited to get to bootcamp. It's really fast paced though.
I love the improv sessions as well. Glad you're having fun |

One more question please. After the 3months of training, will fellows be expected to be staying at the andela complex, or go back to their location, whichever village they came from. It's your choice. But you gotta get to work. And on time too |

I meant to say 2weeks bootcamp.
I came for interview on monday, but are they sending out invitations to bootcamp already? I don't think so |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Andela: IT Training And Job by Erza: 11:37pm On Jun 24, 2015 |
pman06: @ Erza
In regards to the 2months bootcamp, what would you suggest an attendee prepare himself on before coming? You mean training, right? cos boot camp is 2 weeks if it's the boot camp, I'm sure a mail was sent on the specifications for your laptop. just that, the will to learn and a good brain same for training in other words, anyone can get into Andela if they want to |

Working towards making it into the next batch tho.

nami111: @ erza, lol. Thanks for the feedback. Wait, lemme ask you, if you were in my shoes and planning to settle down soon, what would you do? You'll think about the money in order to stay afloat, right? Considering you are earning more presently. You said it cant stay that way for too long. Please, how long is too long? Also, hope peeps don't get dropped during the training? Sorry my questions are too much, i just don't want to enter one chance ni...lol. Better stay where you are |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Andela: IT Training And Job by Erza: 2:46pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
nami111: Hi @erza and toystars, I have been follwoing this thread keenly...
And I really appreciate the kind of positive feedback you guys provide on this thread.
I applied to Andela, and got a mail to do the homestudy test. I scored 630+.
But I need to get an info before I take the leap...
I learnt Andela pays 81,500naira as gross salary during 3 months training or so, but after training, what salary range should one expect?
Well, I wouldn't like that you start thinking I'm into Andela ish for the money. The reason I'm asking is that I currently make more than the salary being paid during training as my salary and would like to have my facts well before I take the leap.
I would really appreciate if you can provide this info as insiders.
Thank you. But you are thinking about the money I'll do you a solid though I can say for a fact that it doesn't stay at that amount for too long Still your choice though |

jeffoe: I applied to the class 8 was dropped at the interview stage, I want to reapply to class 10, am currently serving in imo, but would be around if giving the opportunity, can I go on with the application. When you say "would be around if given the opportunity", do you mean you're willing to shun service? My advice? Well, 2 actually. 1. Finish service. Andela is still gonna be here by the time you're done 2. If that's too long for you, redeploy to Lagos and get on the Andela wagon PS: Those are just my personal advice |

dondondee1: Hello Folks... Please is this andela ish worth leaving a full time paying job for? Thanks dondondee1, it's not about whether Andela is worth it or not. It's more about whether you really love programming and want to become a well rounded developer. If you don't, it totally not worth it. |

andreStyles: So say someone goes through the whole process, getting through each stage and eventually gets selected after the interview, but is a serving NYSCorps member, is it possible to defer admission into the boot-camp till NYSC discharge. Or better still, attend the boot-camp and if selected as a fellow, defer the 4year fellowship till NYSC discharge? Well, I guess it would be easier if you are serving in Lagos. The only thing is to be honest during the interview. What's the worst thing that could happen? |
